Flashing another SM-G530 firmware without issue? - Galaxy Grand Prime General

Own a SM-G530A (AT&T Go variant) and want to roll back to 4.4. Have a SM-G530AZ firmware I can flash, and have the stock 5.1.1 for my phone in case something goes wrong. Question is, can I flash the AZ variant file and assume things will go smoothly?

[Q] About Korean version galaxy note

Can anyone tell me, does the korean version (shv-e160) galaxy note can flash with ATT custom rom? I saw the ics 4.0 rom for AT&T and want to flash with it ....please help
any shv-e160s user here
any people can give me a hand
would also want to know about this as well...
Do u have cwm for your phone? If so flash a custom ics based from in there, should work.
Do not however Odin the at&t ic leak. For a cwm flash, worst case scenario is a soft brick
nvm
my shv-e160s phone comes with tegrak recovery, are there other flashing methods that prevents a hard brick? i bricked it flashing with odin, now the phone is coming back from repair i really want to upgrade the rom.
Well they do have the same chipset, so that conflict with the North American/euro version of the note shouldn't exist.
you could install cwm recovery of you aren't too shy about a second brick. There is no method that prevents a hard brick.
Only thing that could prevent it is knowing what your flashing is compatible, but that don't help in this case huh?
Guess it's time to nut up or shut up?

[Q] I need a note 3 sm-9005 firmware

I want to find a sm-9005 firmware for my sm-900t, at t-mobile, they rooted my phone and installed something called lidroid with this firmware(sm-9005). So I flashed my phone with the sm-900t firmware, but after that happened, it became more annoying with boot sound. The other reasons why I need to find a sm-9005 firmware is because I need all language packs installed, and have it unlocked. So if anyone can help me find a sm-9005 firmware, unlocked or usable in us, with all languages(or just us english with chinese), I won't have to pay t-mobile another $25 dollars, just to just it fixed. But for now, I will try the UK firmware.

Well, when we are talking firmware here for Samsung devices, it means everything : system, modem, bootloader (if applicable), etc. What you would want would be referred to as a rom, which is just the operating system itself. Flashing actual firmware for another device would at best fail at the modem, at worst cause a brick (probably just soft on the T-mobile version). I find it very odd that T-mobile rooted your phone and put on an international based rom. So, now, you have the official T-Mobile firmware flashed through Odin, Kies, or Heimdall, or did you install just a stock based rom through a custom recovery? What update is it on now - Build Version and baseband?
T-mobile rooted it
Also when they rooted it, it came with philz touch recovery, they also voided my knox, and the knox apps were removed, I flashed a stock sm-900t firmware, because I wanted the knox apps, and every time after booting, 45-60 percent of ram were used up, so it was kinda laggy, but who knew lidroid was a good thing for my phone, it enabled me to use any downloaded app for multi task, and also same for pen window. But the kernel bricked the NFC.
I think you're the first person I've heard who WANTS Knox (unless needing it for work or warranty issues). Lol But you didn't answer my questions so I don't have a way to recommend something for you.
I solved it
It was just a rom, I tried using the uk firmware, it failed. at lidroid.com, you can download a rom that can install: sm-9005, sm-9006, sm-9008, sm-n900s roms, the only problem is that it will take about a day(not because of your internet) to download the rom. Thank you everyone that wanted to help me.

How do you downgrade from 5.1.1?

I have an s5 that came with 5.1.1 completely stock, unrooted with baseband: G900TUVU1FOF6. I have never downgraded an s5 before. I've only done it to nexus devices. Does anyone have any instructions on how I should downgrade it? I was thinking of using the 5.1.1 rooting procedure that involves flashing a kernel with kies then maybe it would be possible to flash a custom 5.0 rom with recovery. I'm not sure that is a good idea though because I wasn't sure if the bootloader, CSC, or PDA firmware would still be stuck at the 5.1.1 version.
Edit:
I found this video which seems to say you don't need to root. I'll try the video's method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nek0lowlMmM

Problem flashing an earlier firmware

Is it possible to flash an earlier firmware than is on my Edge?
I had 3 UK firmware, latest version. Probably 5.1.1 or similar.
I flashed the UK non branded Marshmallow firmware. I wasn't impressed so tried to flash the 3 UK firmware back but although Odin says it succeeded without problems, the phone just boots over and over.
So, I re-flashed the marshmallow UK firmware and it is working again.
I would like to return to the earlier 3 UK firmware if it is possible.
Can it be done or am I stuck with marshmallow?
I would say yes you are unless im mistaken

Oh well, I will have to get used to it until a 3 UK version of marshmallow is available.

How to downgrade from Android 6.0.1 to 5.1.1

Hello
I flashed the latest firmware available for my S6 edge (SM-G925F) : G925FXXU3DPDP (XEF).
I've never used Android 5.1.1 on my phone and I asks to you if downgrade is possible at this point (latest BL I think) and if yes, how ?
Thanks you for your further replies
Bye.
I Think Once u Flashed The latest Firmware U can't Go back
Because Of bootloader
Bt U can try Download Android LP And boot loader And put Ur phone in Download Mode Flash with odin
i updated on 6.02...
didn´t like it...
flashed back to 5.1.1 stock without problems (odin)
Hello poci,
You were running with which firmware ?
It's easy to go back to lollipop?
I'm reading some comments off people wich say No, ando some less who say Yes.
i made an OTA update from 5.1.1 to 6.0.2... but i didn´t like the battery drain on 6.0.2......(or 6.0.1 i don´t know anymore)
after clean install of 6.0.2....there was no change at all...
then i went back to 5.1.1 by flashing a stock 5.1.1. firmware with odin...no trouble or anything else...
If flash fails, is my device will be hardbricked ???
if you have the right firmware...i would say "no"
so why should it fail?
i used this firmware for my o2 edge
G925FXXU3QOLD_G925FTEF3QOL1_G925FXXU3QOJB_HOME.tar
Beceause newest bootloaders blocks downgrade, you was in which firmware on Marshmallow ?
don´t know exactly...60.1 then
when 6.0.2 blocks downgrade...
