[MOD][ZIP] Custom Boot Logo Pack For OP3T - OnePlus 3T Themes, Apps, and Mods

CUSTOM BOOT LOGO PACK FOR OnePlus3T
! Boot Logos from this thread are only for OnePlus3T !
For OP2 -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/themes-apps/mod-custom-boot-logo-pack-op2-t3523836
For OP3 -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/themes/mod-custom-boot-logo-pack-op3-t3525143
It would be amazing if anyone wants to share these somewhere else, but it is my sincere request to please give the author the credits for the same as it has really taken a lot of time in no only developing the flashable zips, but as well as on editing the photos. It just takes a second to give credits and it will also make me happy

Auto Change Boot Logo - Script (Expert only)
For those who want to change boot logo in every boot,
I've made a script that'll randomly select a .zip file in "/sdcard/bootlogo/" directory & copy it to LOGO partition. You can download the script from attachments(remove .txt).
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
# Custom Boot Logo Random change script by B!Gguy
dir=(/mnt/sdcard/bootlogo/*) && mkdir -p /mnt/sdcard/bootlogo/tmp && tmp=(/mnt/sdcard/bootlogo/tmp)
unzip -o "${dir[RANDOM % ${#dir[@]}]}" logo.bin -d $tmp && dd if=$tmp/logo.bin of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/LOGO
You can use it as an init.d script. Or use an automation app like tasker/macrodroid to run the script anytime you want.
Do not put any other .zip files in that directory.
Use this script at your own risk.
Please DO NOT post your images to make boot logos.
However feel free to post your favorite Movies, TV-Shows & I'll make a Logo when I'm free.! Enjoy Your New Boot Logo !
press Thanks! if I helped

makers_mark's Splash Screen Image Injector doesn't support 3T yet. I had to compile it specially for 3T. Check the official thread for usage examples of splash screen image injector.

Wow man, great work on these!
Maybe you could whip up one or two nice boot logos involving the DedSec hacker group from WatchDogs1/2? The art style is neat and there are TONS of images for DedSec on the net.

Hi @B!Gguy
Thank you so much for this wonderful work. Really amazing.
You will have a little desire and suggestion. Evaluating delirious.

[BOOTSCREENS] Custom Bootscreens 4 You [Updated 10/18]]

It's been a while since I have made one of these - back during the 1st gen MyTouch was hopping.
I made this bootscreen from scratch with the intention of sharing it out with you all and ran into a snag with the animation not appearing. Thanks to a member of our boards, this issue has been worked out and now I can finally toss this out to you all. I added the "(s)" to the title since I hope to throw a few more out there as well. I also have a "MoPho" boot coming soon that I will include in this thread as well.
Special thanks go out to dased14 for his help in getting things resolved.
So here we go....
This should go without saying, but in order to use this:
Download the zip file for the animation you like.
Rename zip file to "bootanimation.zip", if needed
Place zip on phone
Using Root Explorer, Estrongs, etc. Move file to /System/Media/
Reboot and enjoy
** You MUST be rooted **
As with all other contributions. If you like it - Mash the Thanks button.

Have you had a chance to also add sound to the custom bootanimation? If so, could you post examples of where the sound file (e.g. file name format and file extension type) we would need to put in the /system/media folder or where it needs to be?
I tried to add the letter "s" following each line of code and have a android_audio.mp3 file in the /system/media file but the animation works without sound.
For example, I have something like the following in the desc.txt:
540 960 15
p 1 15 Part0 s
p 1 0 Part1 s
p 1 0 Part2 s
Is this correct?
Thanks,
GP

here you go try this
(remove from the named zip and place the bootanimation zip where it goes and rename if need be)
How about I have the same green smoke/wipe reveal "MoPho" then wipe again to reveal the "Powered by Android" bit? Then it will look consistent.
Not sure what this weekend holds for me, but I will make that and have it posted by sometime on Monday.
This past week has had me busy interviewing for work, but I'll have some free time coming soon to make a few more. I'll do the one mentioned above first.

[RANDOM BOOT ANIMATION] [1080P] Lots of Boot Animation Downloads & ROM TOOLBOX

This thread will show you how to do a couple things.
a) Install a custom boot animation.
b) Randomize your boot animation so each time you reboot, you get a different boot animation (only available with pro version of the app I use).
I'll be updating the thread every few days with new animations until I get a pretty good library. If I'm really super motivated, I might accept boot animation requests. Otherwise, all you need is the boot animation factory linked at the bottom of this thread.
REQUIREMENTS:
-You need to be rooted.
-You need an unlocked bootloader (only if AT&T or Verizon).
-You need a kernel that supports custom boot animation (Faux, Ktoonsez, any AOSP kernel - I'm currently using SlimBean 5.6).
-You *might need to have an AOSP ROM. I have not tried stock rooted TouchWiz yet.
Okay, here's how you do custom boot animations!!!
1) Install ROM Toolbox Lite (consider upgrading to the pro version).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wyLDEsImNvbS5qcnVtbXkubGliZXJ0eS50b29sYm94Il0.
*Note, there are other ways to install boot animations, but those methods are not supported in this thread.
2) Copy the boot animation file(s) to your internal or external SD card. It doesn't matter which. Nor does it matter what folder you put them into.
3) Open ROM Toolbox Lite:
4) Close out of the disclaimer:
5) From the main menu, just swipe your finger to scroll to the right:
6) Now you're at the Interface tab. Click on Boot Animations:
7) You can click on "later" to not upgrade. But I do recommend upgrading. This is a VERY cool app:
8) Click "OK" to the disclaimer:
9) From the "Server" tab, you can download boot animations. But you don't want to, because none of them are 1080x1920 and will look "small" on your screen:
10) Instead, swipe to the right so you an view the "Randomize" tab. Read the info if you like:
11) Now swipe to the left to the "Local" tab. And navigate to the folder where you stored your boot animations that you have downloaded from this thread:
INSTALLING A SINGLE BOOT ANIMATION FROM THE FREE VERSION OF ROM TOOLBOX:
1) Single-click on any boot animation you see in this folder:
2) Click on "Install".
3) Reboot phone and on the first (OR SECOND) reboot, you should see your boot animation and it should fill the 1080x1920 screen.
INSTALLING RANDOM BOOT ANIMATIONS IF YOU UPGRADED TO THE PRO VERSION OF ROM TOOLBOX:
1) At the "Randomize" tab, move the sider to the "On" position (top right of screen):
2) Swipe left to the "Local" tab:
3) Single-click a boot animation and select the "Add to randomizer" option (repeat for each boot animation you want):
4) If you're on the free version of ROM Toolbox, you'll be prompted to upgrade. Select either "Unlock boot randomizer" or "ROM Toolbox Pro". The Pro version is more expensive, but it unlocks every option the app has. And there are lots of cool options. Choice is up to you:
5) Since I already paid for the pro version, I installed that:
6) Now click on "open":
7) Go through the steps again and grant Root Permissions when prompted (your Superuser request may be different looking than mine):
8) Ignore the disclaimer:
9) When you finish adding boot animations to the randomizer, your "Randomize" tab will look similar to this. Now you're ready to reboot over and over and over and enjoy all your new boot animations!
Thank you to JaeKar99 for creating or sourcing all the boot animations that I modified to work in 1080x1920 resolution for our Galaxy S4 phones.

Thank you to jsho31 on XDA for pointing me to ROM Toolbox (which I already had but didn't realize it had the boot animation randomizer - which is awesome!)

Not working for you?
Finally found the solution in a thread by anbech, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897969
Use the CWM_CustomBootanimation_421_Enable.zip. It's for the S3, but works fine on the S4.
Just because the kernel supports it doesn't mean the system does. This flashes the file "bootanimation" to the /system/bin folder. That file is already there, so I made a copy of the existing one before overwriting it with this (just in case).
I'm not using ROM Toolbox, I just copy my animation (bootanimation.zip) to the /system/media folder since I don't change it often, but it should work.
The link above also has a good tutorial on making boot animations.
By the way, I'm using agat's kernel.

I am on Goldeneye, followed your instructions, and it does not work. I still have the SAMSUNG boot animation. Is it not possible to manually replace the image files or make flash files out of there? Just wondering cause I would like a new animation but it is not working for me .
Edit: I believe this is cause silly Samsung uses QMG, which is proprietary, for their boot animations so unless we can figure a better way to create full HD boot animations without have to use Samsung Theme Designer I guess those using stock based wont have any others. If anyone find a successful alternative let me know. I read up on one for the Note 2 but it didnt work on my phone.

Bootanimation.zip support for Samsung Devices - Install all your favourite BootAnim!

THREAD INDEX:
I. INTRODUCTION
II. REQUIREMENTS
III. INSTALLATION GUIDE (THROUGH RECOVERY)
IV. BOOTANIMATION.ZIP INSTALLATION GUIDE
Second Post. DOWNLOADS
#_____________________________#
I. Introduction
As you know Samsung Stock Roms uses a special .qmg for the bootanimation but the procedure that converts all the bootanimation.zip to .qmg ones doesn't give good results getting a low quality bootanimation.
Android uses a binary called bootanimation to run the bootanimations, and it is situated inside the system/bin folder, Samsung has modified this binary in order to get it working with .qmg files.
-Why don't we restore the native bootanimation.zip support?
II. Requirements
This mod has been tested on many samsung devicesl!
These are all the requirements required to add the spport for the Native Android Bootanimations:
Samsung device
Rooted Smartphone
Recovery Installed (TWRP or CWM)
II. Installation guide (THROUGH RECOVERY)
The installation procedure is really easy because i've made a simple zip that makes everything accessible!
Perfrom the following steps:
Download the proper zip according to your android version from the second post
Reboot your smartphone to the recovery and install the downloaded zip
Now you have the Native Android bootanimation.zip support
Now, once you reboot your smartphone, you will see the stock Android Bootanimation.
Did you get a softbrick?
-My zip automatically creates a zip that allows to restore the previous bootanimation binary. Reboot to recovery and install the StockBootanimationRestorer.zip inside the /vr-theme folder and report your device, please
III. Bootanimation.zip installation guide
Now as you have the bootanimation.zip support you have to look for a bootanimation style repository, and inside XDA i've found this useful thread:
[BootAnimation & Shutdownanimation] MASSIVE G3 Collection <<Over 66+>> 10/9/14 -> (Thanks @KachowPow)
Easy procedure to install bootanimations.zip :
Download the style you like from the thread posted above or alternative sources
Download the Flashable_Bootanimation.zip schema and extract it
Open the /system/media folder and put the bootanimation.zip that you have downloaded (Do not extract the animation.zip)
Compress all the folders (META-INF & /system) in zip without any compression or other options
Copy the compressed zip inside your phone memory and begin with the installation procedure via Recovery
Reboot and ENJOY!

On your Note 4 by default you have the bootanimation with Fireworks, and if you wanna install custom bootanimations you have to create them (in .qmg) losing a lot of quality. With this guide now you can install all the bootanimations you want.

THREAD UPDATED - ALMOST ALL SAMSUNG DEVICES SUPPORT AND ANDROID OS
Well, lately users do not read long threads! :')
Anyway i made an update on the topic adding the support for almost all samsung devices and android os.
Lemme know your device model if it has worked or not!
After flashing the zip for KitKat on my g355h, the splash screen was shown up (as always) but it continued up until the home screen.....no boot animation. Also there is a pre-installed bootanimation.zip in /system/media/here, that came with the stock firmware......
Hey, does this support Galaxy J5? Also, nice work dude, i really appreciate your work.
EDIT:
It works for Galaxy J5. just installed a cyanogenmod bootanimation, works fine. Thanks Jertlok for this amazing mod!

Thanks a lot. It works nice. But when I create an boot animation it would not work. But all downloaded zip boot animation works fine on my Samsung Galaxy core Prime g360h. Can You explain where I am doing error during creating a zip boot animation. Here the attached file

I can not attach file
---------- Post added at 11:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:35 AM ----------
Here the link. All are correct but it it would not work on my phone. Although all downloaded zip boot animation works charm
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-NCstEO255RmNISXZwa1ducFk/view?usp=docslist_api
Downloaded bootanimation.zip, placed it into media, made a zip, copied it over to my phone and if i wanna flash it say, that it can not find update binary in the meta inf folder; i looked it up in the folder and it was there, seemed to be broken, and before all this i installed the mm native bootanimation supprt(per given zip)
any suggestions?

when i tried it with the MM flasshable zip(for example), it worked
---------- Post added at 06:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:35 PM ----------
i got it work by replacing the files in system/media, its okay
secondly, is there a way to change the boot splash screen and/or the shutdownanimation??
probably this only works on aosp roms...
I have a Note 3 with a Note 7 port, so I flashed the MM zip.
Does not work unfortunately, stays in the initial Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen and jumps straight to lock screen (it skips boot animation entirely)
I dunno if I should blame this on the bootanimation itself or that I am using a custom ROM
Any suggestions?
Does this work on stock firmware with root and custom recovery?
Works perfectly on Note3neo (sm-n7505), is there any way to also change the shutdown animation ?

Lol cute, I have created this for Toxic but don't know why param.bin don't edits
Can we delete it to boot faster ?
Will this work on locked BL devices like g900a?
Edit: can't get the param.bin to open :/, says invalid tar magic.

Sorry, you can't delete it. You can make your phone boots faster by: changing boot animation to simpler one or make a blank boot animation! (I've made a blank boot animation but it only boots 1 second faster, LOL)
And, Don't install Xposed Framework! It may make your phone boot slower

I tried moving the file to my comp and used the "file" command on it, said it was an executable and tar also refused to open it there. I'm thinking either the mount point is different or its encrypted for us.

param.bin don't flash, I tried too arter97 zip with script edited but nothing
Hi,
I did step 2 and entered all the codes, went on step 3 and opened the folder in CM's file manager, but param folder is empty, just wondering why can't i see the param.bin in the folder,is it because the commands didn't work or do I have to have another file manager to see the file and open it.
I got error mkdir failed for /sdcard/param, file exists. There is a param.bin file but if i try to open it on my laptop it comes up with param.bin.cpgz and extracting that gives me another param.bin

Hey... Android Terminal Emulator not work in my 900H device my device is already rooted and Using stock rom but i try to open Android Terminal Emulator giving FC
I cant tar xf /sdcard/param.bin It says "invalid tar magic". Is ur device exynos because i think snapdragon devices dont work

Hii
I have designed our new Galaxy S5's splash screen
You can also use this menthod to other Android devices BUT, DO AT YOUR OWN RISK! I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ANDROID!
Here's how to change it:
1. Install Android Terminal Emulator app
2. Open the app and type these codes:
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 of=/mnt/sdcard/param.bin bs=4096
mkdir /sdcard/param cd /sdcard/param tar xf /sdcard/param.bin
Note: if you didn't find it on sd card, change all /mnt/sdcard directories with /storage/emulated/0/
Menthod 2: If you failed xf command, extract param.bin on sd card manually by your self
3. Now, in file explorer open sdcard/param
and replace logo.jpg with your new picture (make sure you have name the picture logo.jpg and the picture has the same resolution with your phone)
4. Then, open terminal emulator app again and type these codes:
su
cp -f /sdcard/logo.jpg /sdcard/param/logo.jpg cp -f /sdcard/warning.jpg /sdcard/param/warning.jpg cp -f /sdcard/download.jpg /sdcard/param/download.jpg rm -f /sdcard/param.bin cd sdcard/param
tar cf - `ls | sort -t.` > /sdcard/param.bin
dd if=/sdcard/param.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 bs=4096
If you use /storage/emulated/0/ on step 2 don't forget!
If you use menthod 2, you dont need cp command
5. Reboot and see the changes

Is the image larger? My param.bin was only 512k, obviously the partitions are different for everyone or at least by device model which would explain most people failing.

I'll try it later when I have time.
However: I could also install non-working bootanimation.zip files on my LOS 18.1 (but on Xiaomi Mi A2) and didn't encounter any crashes.
DId you really flash it? You normally only have to move it to /system/media.

yeah i did via adb terminal using adb root, remount, shell then removing the main bootanimation then run adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media
sometimes it works it does show the animation then it will crash then bootloop it
sometimes it will boot but with only the sony logo appearing

When I reboot the phone, it displays the animation okay, but then slows down (still during the first loop), halts, and reboots after a few seconds.

What happens if you do the following:
Code:
prompt_PC:~$ adb shell
prompt:~$ bootanimation
(if you are in your shell, type boot and hit tab-key. I think it was called bootanimation, but maybe it was something similar to that).

I don't see your answer here but my email preview says you already answered and said it returns nothing.
Sorry for that, sometimes xda seems to be a bit buggy for me.
I can try your attached boot animimation in about 30 to 60 minutes and will report back what my device does.
If my device reacts strage too, I'll look into it and maybe find a solution (maybe. I just did a few experiments with boot animations which means I'm not that skilled).

Yes, it was smooth.
Where does is lag? If it seems slow on specific "places" you may need to reduce pictures which look identical (very simillar) in that part.

Really?
No, on my device it doesn't lag. Maybe it's device specific?
Unfortunately I don't know enough about it to actually have an idea on why this is happening on your device but not on mine.
But I hope you'll solve it!
What you could do, though, is looking at the bootanimation.zip from lineageos – maybe their txt file will give you a hint?
