I don't mean the boot animation, I mean the bootlogo, the one with the MI, which appears first before boot animation.
Is there any guide to change it? It is possible to change it for the Redmi Note 2, but unsure whether it works for Redmi Note 4.

nobody has discovered what files to replace and if it safe to replace it

THATS the main thing. The can get bricked if wrong file/size is used.

look for root roollbox by jrummy in market and u can look for dual core moto logo and change but u may have to buy the pro app

You mean ROM Toolbox? I already have the Pro on my other device so no problem to use it.
But AFAIK it only can change the boot animation not the splash screen (which comes before the boot animation).
The BA I installed but the splash is still teared.
Edit: OK, regardless. I found a stock splash in the forum and flashed with CWM.
No everything is fine...

My bootloader is locked.
I tried different methods online to make it alive but its just not working.
I tried anti_test with mi flash tool but always get different types of error.
I also tried with edl mode but it did not work.
Can someone please hellp me with anything
