I just got my self LG G5 F700 Korean variant, i have searched on forum and could not find any thing related to my device, even rooting method is not mentioned for this. Guys please confirm if there are any custom roms or recoveries for this varient.

I don't think there's any possible root now for Korean variant been trying to find a way to root it so I can get the annoying shutter sound off

Check the all one thread.Take a look that debug kernel can have a limited root environment.Or take a shot at kingroot。

İ read in Russian forums and they wrote Korean version lg g5 f700 root imposible. And lg g5 f700 based for
lg gplus mobile operator. Unfortunatly it is impossible for yet.

Anyone here has experience with korean LG phones ( LG G5 f700l ) ?
I cant get to recovery mode , when i press the buttons it directs me to factory reset mode .
+ i can't connect the phone to the PC , i have the lg usb drivers and debugging mode enabled but the configuration usb is forced on charging only with no notification .
If anyone hax this problem before ,tell me how to fix it

You have a P500 or a P505? as far as I remember all LG updates for P500 are 2.3.3, theres a 2.3.4 update but only for the AT&T's P505

Lg ui 2.0 is the stock ROM that some other LG devices (that came after P500) has, like Optimus Net, Hub, Black, 2X, etc... I tought that maybe your device got it on 2.3.4 but seems not, thanks anyway

Hi everybody, in the past (before I bought the G5) I owned a Xperia z5.
The xperia had the VoLTE Option with stunning fast connection, much more clarity AND it was able to make a call while downloads are running. Very good.
The G5 does not have have this VoLTE function for now (I guess it´s able to handle VoLTE).
Does anybody whether it will be implemented in the future?

I think this is the VoLTE you are looking for. Maybe it is region dependent. I live in Hong Kong.

There is a setting in the Hidden Menue for enabling wlan call, but it seems that it is not activated in the firmware. I also have a german G5 and did activate wlancall in my contract last week. But it is not working (yet) and it does not enable more settings in the menues (yet?). Not sure if further work is needed or we have to wait for a newer ROM.

Strange. LG G5 is VOLTE enabled and approved by Reliance JIO.

May i Know your model number and variant of the phone?
if it is from Taiwan the model number would be H860.
Hong Kong firmware is for H860N
VoLTE is not working for me with 10e-EUR on T-Mobile Germany (it's enabled in the customer portal "Kundencenter") either.
I can confirm that model H 860 with indian firmware version V10k-IND-XX supports JIO VoLTE. Added bonus- default dialer supports video call.
I have 850 european model . With marshmallow Jio volte worked. Yesterday i updated to Nougat and volte doesnt work.
Pls let me know how to make it work. Thanks.

I need a guide on which ver of V10 should I buy?
I found the H990VS Verizon ( appears to be the best of all versions on bands coverage based on Gsmarena) and it seems that the only difference between all versions.
Anyway I found it for 200$ new unlocked, which seems a good deal, while I found the global ver for 300$.
I came from G3 and last time flashed ROM was in 2014 so bear with me please ( that G3 kept me happy all that time and still)
The first thing I do when buying a phone is installing custom ROM, so my questions are:
- If I get the H990VS can I install any custom ROM regardless of the versions? Or must be ROM built specially for the H990VS?
- Looks like there aren't much ROMs for the V10? Which made reconsider buying it, or might go with stock rooted.
Suggestions and advices are welcome.
I liked V10 design more than V20 and specially the back volume buttons, I'll be using it for my business replacing my S5, so I don't care about performance or future proof.
Will fix the CPU/board thermal to avoid heat=boot loop, I'm a computer modifier/builder so this will be easy

As far as I am aware the Verizon V10 as well as the AT&T model are not boot loader unlockable and cannot be rooted. The only one at present (apart from the International version) that is boot loader unlockable and rootable is the T-Mobile H901.

As far as I know there are no custom Roms for any V10s except the H901 T-Mobile version and what is available depends on whether the V10 is on Lollipop or Marshmallow. I am currently running a debloated version of H90120L, and as far as I know this is the only Rom available on MM.

It does not specifically say Arabic in English but the Arabic language is included towards the end of the language list, at least I assume it is Arabic judging by the characters. Sorry I cannot be more specific.

Yes that is available script I saw. Like you I prefer the back buttons. Had aG3, G4 (Still) and current V10.

Got time to find out some links from their resource xml and have been able to extract a working link to download B192 update. Being a software developer I'm able to do this but not sure which one to install and do not want to brick !

Sir,we have the same Chinese variant in India ( BND-AL10) but no one from India recieved this faceunlock update.Anyway we can get that update now ? like which file to download and any method to install .

I've read somewhere that Face Unlock is coming with Oreo ! So, I assume it was an Oreo update. Dont know if this is not the case.
I wouldn't recommend flashing this, but if anyone wants to try for the heck of it, try the first one. And you won't be able to update after flashing this.
This isn't oreo update, oreo will be released in May

That's for the Germany Variant ( I'm mean the International Variant ) Luckily, we in India have the Chinese Variant ( BND-AL10) which should receive updates far before the International Variant.Thats what even xda authors said in their post about Honor 7x Face Unlock Update .
I contacted Honor team on Twitter and they confirmed that face unlock update is a china exclusive update right now and will be released for remaining regions soon.
I hope they release It before the end of this month atleast

Brother go with the 200mb update, don't flash that 700mb file(coz its full rom without gaps). Just flash that 200 MB update n it will definitely work.

I don't have twrp to flash it . I didn't unlock the bootloader .Is there any other way to do it

It's not oreo & How do the network radios function? maybe Brick?
As far as I know, there is no oreo update for Honor 7x irrespective of the region and variant but I heard that there is a recent update that enabled face unlock and some other improvements were made too. Although the indian variant carries the same BND AL 10 model number, there was no update at all so it was meant for the Chinese variant.
However, I don't know how the china and India phones are different except for the language. I'm curious to know if any honor 7x stock rom is compatible and can be flashed on to any honor 7x variant? Ex: Flashing Europe or china on to indian or vice versa, you get the idea!! I'm not sure how the network radios behave and who knows it bricks the device??

Many people have suggested that you do a factory reset on Oreo 8.0 and it fixes those issues, just make sure to backup your data

No maybe u didnt get my point...
i mean my phone is H870S model i flashed H870 EU model on my H870S model my phone is dual sim if one sim work i will use that frimware...
Do u suggest me flash Oreo and factory reset ? signal will come back to me? if anyone else tryed this plz let me know about this

I see, I definitely know there to be modem issues with different firmware on similar phone models. I used to have the Moto X Pure and I had the issue by flashing EU software on a US phone. If you use 8.0 made for your phone (which should be released now) it would fix it, but on your case keeping the H870 EU software on your phone and factory resetting most likely won't solve the issue.

So u mean modems are different OK tnx
i asked LG UAE they told me there is no schdule available for release Oreo for ur phone
