convert cwm flashable zip to sp flash tool format?
Actually I've installed a custom rom that bricked my phone. I had nandroid backup of my phone. I tried to restore by cwm but then i got "Error: mounting/system". After that i converted nandroid backup up to cwm flashable zip which then i flashed using cwm.. it completed successfully but nothing happened. My phone remain stuck on boot logo. It seems like that i have Hard bricked my phone and it can only be sort out my flashing rom through sp flash tool. But the problem is that there is no rom for my phone online. Now i want to convert that flashable zip to sp flash tool.

d003 update on rooted phone

Is there a way to install the d003 ota update from TWRP on a rooted 5x KIW-L24 running B331? The updater pops up every time I boot up, but that method fails. Could it be because I used that script to remove stuff preinstalled on my phone?

It would not update on mine with stock rom and twrp recovery. I think you need to go stock recovery and then update. You can reflash custom recovery and root once it's done. The D003 update definitely took care of my horrible GPS accuracy and fix.
cheers
I flashed the stock b331 recovery. Restored a b331 nandroid. Tried to ota, failed. Dowloaded the full image and did the dload folder reboot to stock recovery method. Fails out at 5%. Tried flashing the update.zip through twrp, fails. tried the newest b331 recovery from the repo, tried to dload folder again. fails... HELP!!!!! please?

I used the stock b331 plus stock recovery zip (July 31?) provided in the how to return to stock thread and did a factory reset before boot. It sounds like you still had a custom recovery. That will not work.
You need to be complete stock to be able to install an OTA. It's because it's a file patcher, if files are missing, or modified, it will fail.
That worked !!! Thanks a bunch. Nandroiding a fresh reset for future flubs.
Good !

Stock updates on rooted G5 with TWRP

Hey guys,
I tried to update my rooted G5 via OTA firmware update, but when the device reboots (to install the update), I'm booting to TWRP automatically.
There was some setting you could set on the install of TWRP ("to make stock updates easier" or so). Do you know, what that setting was? Is there a way to install stock updates on a rooted device?
Thanks!
Twrp asks if it should put the system partition not writable. But I think you cannot install OTAs even then.
But... I had the same problem and you can just use lg up with the kdz file of the latest ROM version and select upgrade in the program. It will not delete your data but you will have to install twrp and root again.
But you can of course also do a factory reset while installing the new ROM and start from scratch.

Stuck on teamwin logo and unable to boot to phone.

Hi guy, so i was trying to flash stock rom for the h930 back from using boombox using lgup and now the phone keep booting to twrp and just stuck at the teamwin logo. Really need some help :crying:.
If you were flashing back to stock from a custom ROM , how do still you have TWRP?
You should have flashed stock via DL partition mode or refurbish. You would not have TWRP.
You need to go back into download mode manually and reflash stock completely.
After that, then you can reinstall TWRP.
