I bought an extra phone which is an Acer Z630. But noticed that it was much slower than my current phone. Is there any way to overclock it? I've already searched everywhere. Pls help. Thanks!

Since i have problems with the performance of my Archos 70IT 250gb, i was curious to see if other people have the same issues.
I've searched the forums and found as well various problems, but as well people who seemed to be happy with this tablet.
What are my problems?
- At first everything smooth for like an hour after that device just locks up
- Stuttering after running some applications
- Bad performance in applications (stuttering)
I've tried to keep the device running without any changes
I've tried to only use setcpu to overclock to 1.2ghz
I've tried to only use a swap file
I've tried to use a swapfile and the overclock to 1.2ghz
I've tried to use only a taskkiller
I've tried to use a taskiller and a swapfile and an overclock to 1.2ghz
I've tried to use a Stagefright build.prop with swapfile and an overclock to 1.2ghz.
But doesn't mater what i do it after a while just everything locks up.
I've done multiple resets/full firmware reinstallations.

Please do tell if your device is running good, what your setup is.
What applications you use to keep it running good and what you have changed to the default build, also state your firmware version.

No problems here, I tried Uruk for a while but that gave me troubles. Now I'm usung just the stock firmware 2.1.8, and that runs smooth.

I've found it to be really slow. Just all the time. It doesn't play games well at all and makes my desire s look like a gaming rig.
My guess is the 250gb hdd is the cause of all this as it's likely to be the read/ write access speeds.

is ther someone that tell me how to Overclock further then the 1,1Ghz? I would like to try 1,2 or something, alot of other Phone using the Snapdragon are able to handle Clockrates beyond 1,1GHz, so i will give it a try...

I think that the cpu needs too much juice to stay stable above 1Ghz speeds.
Hi guys. I have a Samsung galaxy tab 4 10.1 (530) and desperately desire a CPU/GPU overlooking kernel for this. I have had no luck getting any type of help in the device forum. Is there anyone out there who would be kind enough to modify the kernel with some overclocking values? I would try to do it myself but do not have a PC to do so at the moment. This tablet has the Snapdragon 400 1.2 quad core and I know it could benefit greatly being bumped up to 1.5 perhaps. I love the most demanding games and have managed to get everything but Nova 3 running smooth on this through tweaks and debloatin. I really wanna play it on this tablet! Please if someone would be willing to help I (and some others Im sure) would be greatly appreciative!
Hi everyone, I just bought my Zenpad 7.0 (2Gb RAM version) but I have feel very disappointed about the performance of it. Very slow (slower than my older device Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 with MediaTek chipset, 1Gb RAM and GPU Mali-450MP) when playing game
So I think the problem at the stock ROM of ASUS, it have lots of useless apps for me, it takes more RAM, CPU, ... Do you know any custom roms or aosp rom can install with this deivce, please give me the link. I'm looking for AOSP ROM but don't know it can install on my devece or not?

There has been a slight improvement with the recent system update that was available, but overall the tablet's performance is pretty crappy. And ofcourse all the useless bloatware....
I wish I didn't drop my TF300, but what can you do against an accident, right? I've been looking for a custom rom as well, but I got a feeling the mass just knows it's ****.
Does anyone tried rooting the z370cg model of zenpad? Or tried using the Zenpad S rooting method? I am planning to overclock my zenpad because by default Asus underclocked it to 900mhz to save battery. Some games are much more playable in a dual core device than this zenpad.

i just recently got my z370cg and im feeling a little disappointed that there is poor support for our device interms of development. hopefully soon though.
With the special fastboot at current time, there are no way to root this.
