BTU Official Nougat for S7

I second this. Found solution? I have given all the ADB commands.

Same for me.
Stock rom

Stock Nougat s7 Edge
Same here doesn't anyone have any ideas?

I can't get doze on the go enabled on my LG G6 either. Completely stock phone, non-rooted.

Sorry, Doze on the Go is no longer available on Android 7+ due to internal changes in AOSP.

I still have the option in Greenify's Settings>Aggressive Doze and also under Settings>Xposed-based Features and am able to enable it. But no idea whether it works or whether Oreo's settings work. Running 3.9.9.1

Seriously !!!! Well this is sad....I just watched a YouTube video for this and it was pretty easy to do on nexus 5. All you have to do is to press a button on the top of the notification bar and a new user will be created just like on pc.

Yup...why did Sammy does that ? I think it's a pretty useful feature to have. Anyways it's neither a deal breaker too
Yes you can, only if you are rooted.
Just browse to root directory and then go to /system/build.prop open it.
Add the following lines:
fw.show_multiuserui=1
fw.max_users=5
Save and reboot. Now you can see multi-users option on settings. Enjoy!

Donation Package without root?

Hello!
Can someone tell me if it is possible to use the donation package without root, BUT with permission granted via ADB, to hibernate system apps?
Yes, you can.
Awesome, do I need other permissions, than the ones on their site here?: https://greenify.uservoice.com/know...o-grant-permissions-required-by-some-features
@leeswagger,
Nope , that's it .
What OS version? One device I have is non-root 6.0.1. Greenify works fine so far.

I have the same question. Have you successfully hibernated system apps without root? And does those 4 additional adb work too? I'm on v20 7.0. I cannot root my phone. Could you tell me what only works on non rooted?
Is it requires to run all 4 commands as mentioned https://greenify.uservoice.com/know...o-grant-permissions-required-by-some-features here or
only first one. I am in 7.0 .
Hello! Sorry for the late answer. Yes I have succesfully hibernated systemapps, keep in mind though, some essential apps/processes can't be hibernated.
And yes the 4 commands work as they should, but my conclusion is, you probably need root if you want all the features of Greenify, but it works as it should!

Stock kernel does not support AOD. You will need to flash a custom kernel for AOD. As for edge screen have you tried to update through galaxy apps?

Shealth may or may not work. But usually it does. Samsung pay wont and knox will be tripped. You wont get updates OTA but you can still manually flash updated firmware. I would suggest researching in here and on google for the advantages and disadvantages before rooting.

Boot loop when installing latest beta version on Android 6.0.1

On my Galaxy Note (the first one) running lineage OS (Android 6.0.1) I get a boot loop as soon as I try to update Greenify to the latest beta version. Currently I'm running an older version from a backup I made in Mars 2017. Any ideas what could be the reason for this issue? By the way, the device is rooted and xposed framework is installed. Any help would be highly appreciated.
I had this problem with the latest beta (3.5.4) and CM 13 (6.0.1) on my Nexus 4. I decided to nuke everything and finally go to Nougat So far no boot loops, however, my Nexus 7 is still on CM 13 so I uninstalled Greenify before it caused the 7 to bork. There seems to be quite a few that had to go through TWRP and remove the Greenify APK manually.

Yes, that's how I fixed it too. Is this thread the right way to let the devs of Greenify know?
I would think so, however, there is a couple postings about this issue in the Beta 3.5.4 thread anyway.
edit: nevermind
I was wondering if anyone else aside from people in https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/greenify/beta-greenify-3-1-build-1-1-23-2017-t3544311 were experiencing bootlooping with the latest beta. Guess the answer is yes.
Today I updated the app from the play store (no BETA) and get bootloop on my Moto E2 with CM13.

I got it, too, on CM12.1
This version is made compatible with Android Oreo, so I believe that it's the compatibility issue.
On my phone, crashed everything and entered infinite bootloop.
You guys with bootloops might want to post in the Google+ Greenify group. Oasisfeng doesn't seem to be monitoring XDA based on no recent posts here. He does monitor Google+ Greenify.

Greenify causes Boot Loop on Galaxy Note 8 + RR MM
seems to kill all 6.0 devices
Boot into TWRP, mount system and then use the built-in TWRP file manager to delete the app's containing folder from system/app, then reboot.

Latest updates work fine on my two very different devices (one being a Moto G4) running Android 6 based ROMs. What you are seeing in the forums does not reflect the much larger community that is not experiencing a problem.
I am not being dismissive; just trying to keep things in perspective. Hopefully a fix comes out soon.

Happened to my lg g3 and samsung note 8 (old) running cm13 and RR 6.0 Roms. I also use xposed and many other apps but managed to pinpoint the problem with greenify's update from playstore. Im running an older apk for now.
My Huawei phone that bootloops with the latest Greenify beta is Android 6 rooted with Xposed also.
I was wondering if the other phones bootlooping here are also rooted with Xposed.
I have another Huawei with Android 6.0.1 rooted with Xposed that doesn't bootloop with the latest Greenifys .

I have noticed many (clearly not all) of those experiencing bootloops traceable to Greenify are running CM or Lineage based ROMs. RR also shares roots with CM. Not sure there is a connection or coincidental. Something to consider.
So, did the latest update solve the problem?
Nope, not for me. I still cannot update...

Disable system update notification

Hello, as for now i'm satisfied with Android 9 version 10.3.17 and don't want to update to buggy android 10 update. Unfortunately, from time to time such message appears:
"Android Update Required: Your Android OS Version is out of Date and Requires Updating"
Is it possible in any way to get rid of this message?
It is dangerous as you can click eirher postpone or to update now..
I also add that i have rooted phone.
Thanks in advance.

You might have luck by blocking OTA URL with a firewall or adblocking app like dns66/blokada or adguard (these work without root as a "fake VPN"). Apply blocking either system wide or just for Google play services (and maybe also update engine apk).
There is no other way without root as far as I know.

Even if you click on update now, with rooted phone it won't install.
To prevent system update notification you might try to disable SystemUpdateService (and possibly SystemUpdateGcmTaskService too) in Google Play Services (use for example app "Disable service").
