please help it won't charge with multiple chargers,i tried checking for updates,i put it in safe mode,tried charging with usb debugging and still no hope. the phone is now at 7% please help

Basically, I'm screwed. My mini-USB port is not detected and I cannot go to USB storage or even charge it (It's as 1% battery right now...). I quickly tried to download a new ROM to flash real quick but my freaking battery got too low... It also is not detected by Odin and whenever I plug in the device to a USB port or the charger it just boots up to the Samsung logo. FML.

EDIT: OMG it finally worked... I just freaking blew on it ONCE and it detected. Anyways, thanks for your help guys
I unrooted my s2 to stock firmware 4.1.2 and now it wont charge?? but it is plugged in to the charger?

Maybe a problem with USB port on the phone.
Could you charge normally before unroot?

Try cleaning the USB port.. many users that had this 'not charging issue' solved by cleaning the dust from the USB port...

Hi guys,
I was using my phone in the USB debugging mode to debug web app in the chrome (PC). Was using localhost port forwarding then sharing the android screen with PC to use chrome dev tools. After that usb stopped working in my phone tried different cables and different PCs only charging not detecting.
I have moto driver installed my in pc and verified cable with other phone (friend's Moto E). And rooted my phone changed to Cynogenmod 12.1 still usb only charging not detecting.
Please help me to troubleshoot these guys.
P.S. I have checked the USB port in my mobile and it's in good condition no damage in there.

I haven't done anything like you said and it still doesn't work on my phone....
charging only happens if I have MTP or CTP enabled..
but when I select charging only option it doesn't charge the phone :/ *sigh* *shake my head*

Hello, this is my first thread on XDA. I made an account just for the purpose of finding someone who would be willing to help me with my problem.
My device ZTE N9518 has had charging problems for a while and I've stuck with it, until I tried to copy some files to my computer because my storage was full I wasn't too surprised that the USB didn't work
Things I've tried:
1) Using different USB ports
2) Using different USB cables
3)Factory reset (I uploaded my files. Terribly slow)
When I put my phone to charge there's a loop whenever the phone is off it goes to the ZTE logo, then to the battery over and over.
Now I'm not too worried about the charging because this is my second device and I use it for streaming movies. What I would like help with is the Usb .

Hi guys,up front I apologize for my English.I need help with my phone S6 edge,fast charging is not working and as I understood lot of other people have the same problem(charging takes 6h 0%-100%).I also noticed the problem happened to others after updating to Nougat 7.0.I had the plan to downgrade my phone to older version of android but...as I connected my phone to PC it says Unknown USB(so ODIN can't recognize my phone) and in device manager my phone is detected as Unknown USB device(Device Descriptor Request Failed).In settings software update says I have the latest software installed and I have no option to update to newer edition.I tried factory reset,wipe cache,tested charging in safe mode,tried 2 differen't charging flex assemblys in my phone,differen't cables and charging adapters,differen't USB ports on PC,multiple samsung USB drivers...that go along with smart Switch,Kies,Kies 3...fast charging is enabeled in settings,tried turning on USB debugging,setting device as MTP in developer options...god knows what I haven't tried.Is there known problem and perhaps solution...or someone who can suggest more troubleshooting methods.I am able to open and fully disassemble the phone to check hardware if someone suggests me to check on some hardware...any ideas PLS?
