Hi every one,
after 0% battery, my 2 phones x820 max 2 does not want to start any more when I branch there is only red light who flash!
Please i need a fix
Not starting means that you are with no juice in them and not able to charge. Can you use a different cable than the original one, and another charger as well and then revert with the outcome. I do suspect the cables/chargers.

hello
now the phone is in a boot loop, what i've tried so far
-charging battry for 12 hrs
-hard rest
-flashing different roms
-trying a different battery
-removing sd card when booting
no luck
any suggestions?
thx
Few questions for you here:
First off, Are you in a boot loop with xdandroid or WinMo. If its WinMo check below. If it's Xdandroid try deleting data.img, and starting over.
1.. Did you task 29 before flashing the other roms.
2.. Are you charging from a usb, or wall charger. If you're using a usb, that very well may be part of the problem. Use a wall charger. This has been a known issue for these boot loop situations.
You also may have bad blocks, or another hardware issue. I seriously doubt that though.

Is this the boot loop where the phone starts to boot, and then within a few seconds it runs out of power and turns off, and then after a few seconds of charging starts to boot again and repeated infinitely?
If so, this can be cleared by leaving the battery out of your phone for a long time. Not exactly so sure how long it needs to be, but I did it for a day or two and that worked for me. There is some sort of memory chip in the battery that needs to get cleared out to prevent the phone from trying to start automatically.

When this happened to me what I did was connect it to a car charger for 20 mins or so then that gave it enough power to work from the wall. Idk y but it worked both times

Does it looks like this?

I had the same problem 3 months ago.
After I tried much things to solve it, and that things didn't work, I send my TP2 back for garantue. That was the only way for me to fix it.
Good luck.

welcome and i dont why it did, maybe it had more power than a standard adapter but it worked flawlessly
External battery charger
This happened to me. The only solution was to buy an external battery charger. I found a universal li-ion charger at the local department store that could be adjusted to charge any brick style li-ion battery.

like i said i dont why it works but it does for some reason. im guessing the power supplied by the car adapter is greater than a standard wall one. also this dead battery issue just started resently for me so i dont know if its the kernel or system ext2
ya the car charger gives you 2 amps while the wall charger gives 1 amp, i thought that this only affect the charging time
I am glad you you were able to get it going. This happens fairly often for me when I let the battery get too low.
The stock charger just doesn't put out enough current. I switched to using my old iGo universal charger. I have tips for all of the family phones (plus a y adapter to charge 2 at once. I can charge fast at home or in the car, and it seems to be able to provide enough juice to keep the phone going even when tethering, which the stock charger can't.

Hello.
I've recently bought an extended battery for my HTC EVO 3D.
Changed from the original 1700 to 3500.
Problem is, right when I plugged it into the phone, it didnt turn on.
The charge light would go on for about 2-4 seconds then turn back off.
I tried using the original battery and still get the same problem
Now the charge light doesnt turn on at all, and the PC wont even read that it's connected.
Is my phone bricked now because of this new battery?
What can I do?
Please help me
Are you sure your batteries are charged?
Try changing the usb cable and the charger...

Yes i'm sure they're charged.
When I took the old one out to put in the new extended battery, it was at about 75 percent.
I left the extended battery charging all night (no charging light on) thinking maybe it was just really dead.
Still getting same results this morning.
No charge light, no turning on.
On either of the batteries and various charging units I use.

Can you boot your phone into bootloader (hold volume down + power button when it is off) ?
Any chance you're using CWM? If so try another recovery... also the battery could be below minimum charge level, which could be solved by an external charger

I've tried all recoveries, nothing works.
I haven't tried an external battery charger because I do not own one.
Do you think I should go into a Sprint store and ask if I could test one and see if that works?
I don't see why because like I said, I put in the original battery and it still doesn't do anything...
I'm so frusterated guys, I just want to use my phone again

Your charger port might of disconnected from your mother board (basically game over), it was a fairly common problem on the OG Evo. I'm not sure if there is a fix for it, you may have to take it to the Sprint store for a replacement if they have one. I don't think they should charge you since it is a hardware issue but im not sure. Best of luck to you man

Bad volt reg in new battery fried the phone?

Hi Guys,
I have searched the forums and i found that all the issues are with the phone on. My problem is the phone loses power when plugged into the PC when the phone is off and while plugged into the mains, it charges very very slowly. When it is on, the phone does not charge when plugged into the mains.
Do i need to get a new battery? Or should i go back to stock and see if it still occurs.
I am using cm10.1 nightly btw
Thanks

oh i forgot to add, i am using siyah and have pushed my usb charge to 900ma, and i used another current widget and it shows that the phone is drawing 899ma. that 1 ma does not really affect anything.
now the problem is when the phone is off, it shows charging but not really charging. i have wrote a program in c to see what current the cpu is outputting to the usb ports and it shows 500ma.
since it is 500ma shouldn't the phone be charging?
my question is will the kernel or rom affect the phone if it is off, if so it means i need to get a new battery.
But my battery can last 19hrs on a full charge, so i dont see how it is damaged.
Confused

In that case, do basic troubleshooting first:
Try with different cables. S3 cables have known issues with charging.
Try another port on the PC.
Try another PC/laptop.
Try other chargers.
Using the link I posted, check what is the current_max when you plug the phone to charge in each case. Details are in the first post of the linked thread.
Unplug and re_plug the cable from the phone when it is charging, several times if need be, to check if the charging current varies/increases.
Install stock and check if the issue persists.
Try with another battery (borrow from a friend, if needed).
If ask this fails, take it to the service centre. It might be an issue with the charging port.
Good luck!

Good luck! Post back what the result is.
ok i am on stock sammy rom now and it still has this problem.
this is what i know so far
my battery % shows 53%but my battery has 3.858 volts.
do i need to get a new battery or anything?
i might have damaged it due to always leaving it plugged in overnight for 1 year, but i thought li-on cells should have a chip to detect when they are full and automatically prevent anymore uptake of current
ok i am using inductive charging to charge my phone now, even though it is only 500ma, it charges faster then the 1A when using a wall charger.
So i guess that the microusb port is the one affecting it.
Hello, My phone has discharged by night and now I cannot charge it. It blinks with red diode : once logner and triple shorter, deos not show charging battery symbol. Untill now it worked very well with original accessories. For some reason cannot start loading. Have anybody similar problems esepecially with this kind of diode blinking?
regards
Probably broken cable, buy a new one.
Heyyo, hmm are you on a custom ROM or stock EUI or a custom EUI?
Have you tried booting to recovery and see if it charges there?
Have you tried different hardware?
Yes it was broken cable. I bought a new one and the phone works OK. Thanks.

Hello community!
My Le Max 2 (No custo rom, used it like it was out of the box) was still working great, but it couldn't be charged anymore. I could still hook it up to a computer and exchange data, but it wouldn't load via computer or plug connector. I also tried some other cables, still no charging.
It's at 0% now and dead. Is there anything I can do? Maybe change the battery? Or something else? The phone still running great, the possibiliy of data transfer but not beeing able to charge it has me kinda suspicous.
Greetings and thanks in advance,
Jack

If it was exchanging data, it's most likely a battery that's gone bad. You can replace the battery, something I'll be doing as soon as my order from AliExpress comes. On others advice I purchased a replacement screen as well, since many people have broken their screens while installing a new battery. It's my daily driver so I can't take the chance it becomes completely unusable.
