This has only happened when I text my roomate, who also had a Hero.
If I text her via new text, she won't get it. If she texts me first, and I text her via a reply, or through that thread, she gets it fine. Also, during testing, I noticed I had two threads started, one for the texts I was sending and were failing, and a thread for her texts and my replies. any ideas?

I think people may be investigating. Have you got her number with a "+" and country code infront of her number in one of the conversations?
The one with the country code or the one without may be causing the problem. Let me know which one works, if in fact that is the problem.
I recently flashed to froyo using Nero Beta 3, and I noticed some text issues. I was texting the girlfriend and for some reason, my text went to some random person on my contacts, while her named changed back and forth between another contact I have. Now when I text, nothing will go through. She doesn't receive anything... It's a spotty issue, it wasn't happening an hour ago.. now it's flaring up.
Anyone encounter this problem?

Update - Basically I noticed, If i type a text and send it will randomly either send to the person, or disappear. And the persons picture next to their name goes blank and the name disappears also... Any clue as to why this is happening?
I'm getting tired of these spam calls that are an obvious identity theft scheme... every time they call, it's a different number - calling back indicates the number doesn't exist. Asking to be removed from their calling list = they hang up and call you the next day.
I've had call blocking apps, they worked. But it's always a new number they use. I'm hoping if they hear my number is disconnected, they'll give up on me. But I want to block their many numbers so I don't have to deal with them... and I don't want other people to think I'm disconnected.
In a nutshell, what I want to happen is... They call, I add to block list, they call back from same number (because they do sometimes), they hear "this phone number has been disconnected." and I cross my fingers and toes that this prompts them to take me off the list. Worked telemarketing once before, this was a policy for that company - disconnected numbers get removed.
I had something like that. But I forget what I used. then again, I NEVER GIVE OUT MY REAL NUMBER and always use google voice. I NEVER get annoying calls. I think the one I used to use they started charging for.

Last night, I rooted my i9300 S3, and flashed CM 10.1 onto it (Android 4.2.2). Crazy awesome btw Also got Nova Launcher prime on it.
Anyway, to the point. I posted an ad on Gumtree (for anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's like Craigslist). Went walking with my girlfriend, and had my phone make a new noise (assuming all noises and notification noises have changed). I looked at my phone, and I had a blue pop-up with something written like "Number notification" and then a local number.
I had about 4-5 of these, and pressed 'Ok' on all of them (thinking they'd be in my missed calls logs). However, I've looked through my voicemail, messages, call logs, anywhere I'd assume it would be.
But I can't find it! It's a local number (I'm from Leicester,UK), and it began with my area code and 01, like this: 0116 01 and then the rest of the number.
Any way I can find out what this was, and where I can find this number again?
