I hope that i'm in the right forum. I don't know where else to turn to...I've just started using Chrome version 56.0.2924.87(64-bit) on my MacBook Pro, and i noticed that the homepage icon is on the left side of the search box. Is there any way to move it over to the right side of the search box (maybe with an extension)? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but i've been trying to find the answer for about three days now. Thanks for any help.

Sorry if i have posted in the wrong part of the forum, i have done a search but can't find the right place to post.
Just a bit of help using my new phone.
I can't figure out how to change my message tone to one i want (on my SD card),
Also i am unsure on how to forward messages on. :/
I will probably post here when i get stuck again, so really sorry if this is in the wrong place ...

Sharon, to forward a msg, long press it and options will pop up.
Regarding the ringtones and notifications, create two folders on the SDcard called ringtones and notifications, drop the files you want to use in this, post a restart it should come up in Settings-> Sounds options

P.S. a lot of the capability is stock Android so it would make sense for you to search in general android forums for answers instead of searching specific to this phone ...

SMS are based on conversations like gMail have. Some time I hate it, but many times it is most better solution that I ever seen.
About question - I think that its fine. I had same problems But I just used google.

So. I'm sorry for that, but I hope you could help me.
So here's my problem:
I have two ArrayLists called Channels and Programm. A Channel has one or more programms. In landscape mode I want to show the channel picture on the left side and all related programs on the right side. By scrolling from left to right side or right to left side I want to load an other channel with the related programs.

Hello to everybody,
I have a small strange thing.
When I use ICS (or ICS+) browser on the xda site and wanting to do a search, here is what happens :
- I touch the "search this forum" button
- it opens the field below
- I touch the "free text area " to start typing
- I see the keyboard sliding up, and then as quickly, it slides back down and the search box closes...
as a result, I can not perform any search on the XDa site.
It does not do that with Opera nor with dolphin.
PS :as a matter of fact, that was yesterday, because this morning, there is not even the "search" button only the "forum tools" one... but I believe it is related to a temporary site issue.
Anyway, has anyone experienced this? Where could it be coming from?

Same here with stock browser.
If you use the keyboard dock it works. But when use a onscreen keyboard you cant type in this sorts of popup text fields
WOW, thanks for bringing this up. I have had this problem for god knows how long. I first noticed it with my rooted HTCEVO. I seem to have this problem with just about all the forums. Now my prime also.
Is it an Android thing? Did it work for you guys with a different browser? Weird, I havent been able to use the function for so long I havent even looked for the search, and now I too see that it is gone. Is it a Vbulletin vs Android thing?
Would love to know the problem/solution.

EDIT: I have a dock, but never tried the search function with it. Now I guess we cant, I dont see the ability to "search this forum". What happened?

edit 05/03/12 : search function is now back on the forum. I'll try again the ICS issue, see if it is still there...
Search function is still not working for me on browser+. However, I know it's not ideal for a quick search, but if it's any consolation the advance search field works.

+1 for the "advanced search" option... bothered me at first but, one more click isn't all that bad...
How the f*** do I get to see the comments on apps in marketplace? I can´t even figure out how to make a new comment on my own?
The sad thing is that I´ve just swapped my Nexus S for this Nokia (wanted to try something new, and thought the WP7.5 looked interesting) After a couple of days playing around it seems like it is as "closed source" as the iPhone which I did not like at all

It is as closed as the iOS eco-system, that's never been a secret.
As for seeing the ratings, it's easy, after tapping on the app that you want, just swipe the screen to the left, or tap the 'reviews' header:

To the question:
I bought a used TF201 and it's at 4.4.4 CROMB1 is 11.0-20140930. Kernel is 3.1.10
Best way I can describe the issue is that the screen is flaky. That is, when I attempt, for example, to move an icon from one spot to another it 'dances'. It's difficult to control the position of the icon. Rebooting resolves for a few minutes.
The issue manifests itself in 'settings' also when I scroll up and down on the left side to select something.
Anyone seen this or heard of it? No joy in my search for info on here.
