i have KATE.
i installe dfrom the play store 3 apps, cpu spy, cpu sply + and cpu spy reloaded.
then i used the phone... and tested it with geekbench and antutu. ok..... the apps show that i NEVER used the 400mhz freq and i neved went over 1400mhz.
BUT SD650 should go up to 1,8ghz!!!!
what is the problem? i noticed this bug on the rom with i received the phone miui 7.3 then in this actual 8.0.5.0 stable.
Just to be sure, i am in this moment updating with OTA to the latest 8.1.3.0 for my KATE
The Redmi Note 3 SD version has 6 cores, but only 2 of them can hit near 1.8GHz. The other 4 run around 1.4GHz. Also, with the stock MIUI ROM/kernel, I think the minimum frequency for the 4 little cores is 600+ MHz.
so, the app does not see the 2 more powerfull cores?
You should use kernel adiutor mod if you want to change governors or frequencies
P.s miui sucks

LineageOS/AOSP for a lighter, faster, newer material design experience.
Resurrection Remix for more customization out of the box.
Personally I use Nitrogen OS...its best imo

I don't know much about Archidroid. I like Resurrection because of its configuration organization, battery, RAM which mostly use about 500MB RAM and give me about 300MB + free RAM. What about yours?
Edit:
My Antutu Benchmark score is 25,759 with this rom. Stock Rom used to be 18,000 to 19,000 range.

That sounds cool. I installed it and the Antutu was 40,000+. It is amazing but it over clocks the CPU to 1.6 GHz by default. My worry is the battery life. The more you use CPU, the more battery usage. How long does yours last?

The CPU is to 1.4 with boeffa kernel.if you don't play games The battery is very good XD...without games...1 day...with games 1/2 day
That seems ok.
Another one opinion?
My personal favorite is Resurrection remix too.
You should try a couple of ROMs to find what's best for you.
You can take a look at temasek's, blisspop & archidroid too.
Guys , which is the best custom ROM for Redmi note 3 Qualcomm based on battery backup and stability.
I tried few ROMs, but I would like to know your opinion

myself experience... tried all 6.0 roms and after that installed first aosp 5.1.1 v4 and next stock miui and compare to 6.0 when scrolling there was no lags or choppiness. It works as it should do. So I choose aosp 5.1.1 beacuse a prefer stock andorid look and feel.
I think that there is no source from xiaomi for android MM so 6.0 based roms cant be good as stock roms..

I won't agree with that. I also used some aosp 5.1.1, but can't remember which version now, and currently I'm using RR.
So let me share my opinion.
Miui has a very good cpu management. It is power savy, yet it speeds up the cores when more power is needed. However the performance is nowhere close to pure android roms, such as aosp or cm13.
Yes, they are both fast, but try to launch some apps with stopwatch running in the background. After launching few apps stop the stopwatch. Then launch the same apps on other rom (also with stopwatch). Digits (from the stopwatch) will show you the difference in performance. Btw, don't try to compare miui multitasking to pure android. Pure android will win this very easily.

Not necessarily, if they want the best camera performance then they need to wait for OnePlus to release binaries for Nougat.
You could try messing with voltage (I'd only suggest slight adjustment), using the app Boeffla provides here: http://www.boeffla.de/index.php/downloads/boeffla-config-app
But I wouldn't recommend a super high overclock as the 810 can overheat pretty bad, also depending on your governor (I use elementalx)

If it's available for your kernel the Boeffla-Config app has it under the CPU tabs at the bottom.
But as Sungfive claims it's not available, it probably isn't, sorry if I was misleading. I remember now Boeffla even says in his thread he doesn't allow voltage control anymore in the kernel, stating that you can add it back and build yourself if you want it (not so simple of course).

The big.Little architecture doesn't allow changing simply the voltage
Clean flash again the rom and the kernel
If you want better performance then don't overclock.
I have tried nos, arrow, havoc, P. E. roms in my 2gb variant. But all are lagging too much at the time of miltitasking. It's been a month I'm back in oreo.
Now can anyone suggest any smooth pie for 2gb variant?
People say good things about havoc. I want to know too all the feedback. Cause this is my daily phone and i play pubg on it

i think pie roms are still not optimized.
if u use kernel auditor, u will see that cpu, gpu & other settings are limited to a fixed value, they don't have full potential, may be because of increasing battery life.
i have 3gb kenzo, i also face lags on many apps like Facebook on pie roms
if battery life isn't a issue to u, u can modify kernel settings to get lag free experience
increase zram, increase cpu frequency

Try Xtended pie butter smooth ROM
No lag for multitasking and pubg gameplay is pretty good
Been using NOS Pie for quite some time and tried other Pie ROMs, and I can already tell that NOS Pie is the most stable among all others for Kenzo 2 Gb variant.

Hi guys,
I've got 2x 32GB Note 4's in the family and I want to take the unofficial jump from 7.0 (MIUI 11) to one of the very many, current, custom ROM's posted here...
My question is which one? There are loads
Stability is my primary concern - not that fussed about all the 'whistles and bells,' just stability.
Thanks.
Pixel Experience Plus Edition.
It is well maintained, updated and STABLE.
https://download.pixelexperience.org/mido
I use Servicely and Naptime from the Play Store to reduce battery usage when on standby.
Ideally you can also underclock the kernel using FK Manager, our phone runs normal stock at around 2000mhz when at max speed but I underclocked to 1400mhz and haven't had any slowdowns or stuttering.
If I do play a game, I use stock speeds or set a gaming profile.
9.0 lineage (official but support ended)

I want to try PE out, bUt is there any fix for goodix FP?
Thanks people! Are there any guides going for how to flash a non-gen ROM? I see a lot of mentions of "Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache" . Then having to manually install GApps/Magisk etc.
Thanks.

Just pick one that is often updated so you are not too far back on security updates. Other than that all AOSP based roms are kind of the same with some minor differences in built in customization.
