This is my first thread on XDA please ignore my errors
This thread is for HTC Desire VC but they dont have this phone in their Drop-Down Hence Desire V selected
guys with HTC t328d CDMA and GSM Asian version who have been denied any support and maybe you are stuck with a bricked device
HTC itself does not provide any support - and the kernel and downloads on HTC website is useless

Lets start the procedure: I spent around a week for this solution

1- Download and Install HTC Sync on your pc (optional) just for the driver files if you have already installed ADB Drivers you might not require it..
2- Download and Install Wmshua Super Flash Tool in chinese only (compulsory)
a : Go to the installation folder of wmshua it can be in program files or program files(x86) depending on your os
b: locate the Language Folder and rename the folder to Language_X this will change the wmshua program language to English almost
3- Download this ROM (htc_t328d_newbee_3.10.23.18_release_8780dd403f_4.0.3_10012_V1.1)(optional) its in chinese but dont worry can be changed to english later
Run Wmshua as admin connect your htc desire vc t328d wait for detection .. Wmshua will detect your phone from Fastboot, Recovery, and also from HTC logo frozen screen..

Once the phone is connected wmshua will provide different ROM's available for htc desire vc t328d if you want you can select one but all the rom is in chinese only..
Select Fash from the menu and point it to the downloaded rom (htc_t328d_newbee_3.10.23.18_release_8780dd403f_4.0.3_10012_V1.1) and hit flash it will start the procedure just wait and let it complete .. this rom will change your recovery in chinese... and install a baidu custom rom on your htc desire vc t328d
Hopfully you guys get it right and your phone has a custom ROM installed
Now the phone will start and the First screen you will get is to select the language on your phone chose English
This ROM is Pre-Rooted, but apps like lucky patcher, and gameguardian etc does not detect the root
To resolve this we have to flash supersu binary:
Download the supersu flash-able zip and place it on the phone memory as well as SD card
1- Turn off HTC Desire VC t328d wait for 5 to 10 secs and remove the battery
2- Insert the battery
3- Holding the down volume key press the power button it will start in HBOOT
4- Using the volume key select Recovery (its in chinese only)
重启系统 = Reboot the system
选择更新 = Select Update
恢复出厂 = Restore the factory
清空缓存 = Empty the cache
备份恢复 = Backup and recovery
挂载存储 = Mount storage
高级 = Advanced
关机 = Shut down
5. select the Second option which is Select update
6. on Next screen select the First option which is Select update from zip file in sd card
7. select the supersu flash it select the last option to go back and then first option to reboot htc desire vc t328d
Everything is working fine on my phone No bugs till now
I also came accross an english recovery but it does not allow to update from sd card might work for some guys link mentioned for
English Recovery for HTC Desire VC t328d

Installation:
1.Unlock bootloader at http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/(Model selection: HTC one)
2.Make sure fastboot is unchecked in power options and turn phone completely off
3.Boot into HBOOT then Fastboot
4.Perform command: fastboot flash recovery recovery_en.img or the recovery.img file name
5.Boot into HBOOT and select recovery

reboot into CWR when offline charging
When turning device completely off and flugin your power adaptor my device will reboot directly into CWR.
Does anybody have similar problems?

Yes same here. I am unable to charge my cell phone by powering it off as it goes to CWM recovery.

This problem with all HTC devices after unlocking the bootloader. nothing new about it. and not a big deal also.
@kinghunki Hey, what command does your recovery exe installer runs to flash the recovery? Is it different from fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ?
Because I compiled the recovery myself and it flashes fine but I'm unable to boot into it, it shows some red warning text and then returns to hboot. Any help?

Know the problems :
To use flash system, you need to reboot in recovery first :/ (PhilZ have a good adb)
BackUps generally takes longer time due it need to copy back to your PC
I have to say that I tested and for the "operation", is all fine but I couldn't test all because my SD Card is Full...
So I need some strong people who doesn't have fear to corrupt one partition or two...
Don't forget, ODIN helps a lot in this cases!!!! or the tool itself !!!

Confirm install, wait for success
Go back and reboot System Now,
2. Flashing htc framework, htc Camera, htc gallery-
Download htc Zip file From Bellow and transfer into Device storage/-internal/external
reboot into recovery [twrp]
Clear catch Dalvik catch,
on Recovery Click on install zip from SD card
Navigate Downloaded htc Zip file and Confirm install, wait for success
Go back/ reboot system Now Done,

First time installing crDroid to your Samsung Galaxy S6, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Treble Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps(optional)
6) Boot up
For root,you can reboot to recovery after installation and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

I'm only experiencing one problem: during calls loud speaker does not work. I made a clean flash over the latest available firmware, and I can't find anything about it here on XDA. Is there anyone that knows something about this issue?
Hi! I successfully installed this ROM, and I have been using it for a while now: I am enthusiastic! It is really light and everything is fluid. This is a great work!
I have only one feature to report: camera photo and flash are not syncronized when I try to take a photo with flash on.
Flash works, but everytime I try to take a photo, this happens: I tap the button to take the photo, flash switches on, and than off, and then then photo is taken, so the result is a completely dark photo.
Photo should be taken some millisecons before, or flash should switch on/off some ms after.
Do you think it is possibile to regulate one of the two?

as long as you flash correct firmware, previous rom doesn't matter

there is no specific miui base required - only correct firmware
Hi, first post here, just wanted to contribute.
Got it working fine on mine this way:
-Flashed recommended recovery as advised.
-Switched phone off then boot on recovery manually.
-ADB sideloaded recommended ROM.
-ADB sideloaded recommended FIRMWARE.
-Format/Factory Reset gave error, so switched phone off again.
-Restarted phone, this time a pop up asked for a factory reset, once done phone booted perfectly.

Does this ROM need Firmware V12.5 as a base ?
I am on MIUI 13, can I flash this ROM without running into issues ?

Caused incoming caller number not being parsed correctly by Phone app on
