ok,but we do that by recovery menu if it´s unlocked by default is there a default bootloader menu??
hope you understand what i´m asking because i dont write english very well...
EDIT. well you make me think about coming open by default and hi use an app to reboot to bootloader since hi dont have a power menu on my rom,
and it reboots to fastboot mode so i´m getting the picture recovery menu it´s more friendly use....
but i read somewhere here in xda that flash a recovery or a rom by fastboot mode is somehow mor safe for all phones because flash memory as some kind of lifetime but that´s another war ,i think that now i have the bases to learn another way to play with the phone thank´s for your help....

Please don't ask same question in different threads
Most phones from for example HTC did have a locked bootloader, but with already released or upcoming updates this lock will be removed. Don't know if Samsung does the same also for some of the phones which have a locked bootloader.
If you want to know ik a specific phone has a locked bootloader, perhaps Google can give you an answer.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows if running a custom rom on the S2 would stop me being able to sim unlock it?
Thanks

Why?
IMO doesn't make a difference for unlocking ... only if it is a special feature of the custom ROM to prevent SIM unlock.
Read the descritption of the custom ROM, and if there is nothing about it, it should behave like stock ROM for unlocking.
P.S.: If you want to unlock your phone, why don't you unlock it before flashing the custom ROM?

If you still like your phone and it's okay for you to use such a small phone, unlock the bootloader and try a custom rom
And if that's not enough for you, you are even able to buy a new phone then

Nope....Like Rhyskymud said ,it will allow custom ROMS like JellyBean and allow custom kernels ...The performance boost is incremental not phenomenal ...meaning ...Dont expect your phone to become Xperia Z magically ....It will be a better MDPI device certainly ...

Hmmm...Well it's all come down on how much MONEY you have right now....
if you have enough money to buy new model then go and buy new one but if you don't have it and you phone bootloader can be unlocked then unlocked it and flash custom roms...
Hi,
I have an Israeli LG G5 H850, the Official bootloader unlock tells me that it's not possible because it's from Israel and not from europe.
Is there an unofficial way to unlock the bootloader without wiping it?

Why would you do such a thing out off all the variations out there
Cause of great support and community support (XDA) for sams**t handsets...
There's so many devices out there that can do the same
Oneplus 5 should be coming this year ?

Still no way of unlocking bl of that specific model of the H850?
Or a method to root it without unlocking bl?
I would wipe everything and flash any rom or sth.
Possible?? Thanks in advance!

H850 has locked bootloader, so you cann't get root and use custom roms. If you want custom ROM buy European H850 and unlock bootloader.
Hello,
Here is the list of smartphones that can have the bootloader unlocked according to LG.
On the other hand the model H830 if I understood well can be in ROOT without unblocking the bootloader https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...-h830-t3384526
The question is: can we do the same for the H860N or the H860
