Note 4 MHL supported on N7 roms? - Galaxy Note 4 Android Development (Snapdragon)

Just curios since the Note 4 Natively supports MHL, but the newer N7 rom is based on (after 2015) where the MHL is not supported, So im curious if it would work with a N7 port?

Stock based Roms are the only option for now.
Advise:
Try dual booting Aosp with a stock ROM.
You can theme the stock ROM with ICS domination, then install apex or Nova launcher.
Good luck

[Q] 4.2.2 to 4.3.1 MHL support ROM

Is there a ROM available for the original Galaxy Note I717 AT&T which has MHL support with Android 4.2.2 or higher?
I would like to use the phone to stream video and send to big screen using HDMI.
My MHL cable works great on stock Samsung JB 4.1 but version is not high enough to use Chromecast ready apps.
In a word, no

Mediapad X1 - MHL works!

Just in case you didn't know, MHL works with the Mediapad X1. I tried my MHL adapter that I got for the Samsung Galaxy Note, which I believe also works with the Note 2 and it works like a dream. The newer Samsung MHL adapter for the Note 3 and S4 / S5 doesn't work though.

What firmware version do You have? I checked one MHL adapter with my 4.4.2 X1 (Build 7D-503LV100R002C233B007) and nothing shows up on the tv, although HDMI cable is detected by the tablet.

I've got the 7D-501U, with the stock B019 ROM, Android 4.2.2. It's not rooted.

As of 2013, there are 4 types of MHL adapters
The Galaxy SII, Note 1, and Galaxy Nexus (and more than 50 smartphones by other vendors) support MHL 1 with a 5-pin connector,
The Galaxy SIII and Note 2 support a 11-pin version of the MHL 1,
The HTC One is the first phone to support MHL 2 with the standard 5-pin connector. It is backward compatible with MHL 1 5-pin adapters.
The Galaxy S4 is the first phone to support MHL 2 with the Samsung 11-pin connector. It is backward compatible with the GSIII/Note 2 adapters.
Version 2 of the MHL standard increases the maximum supported refresh rate from 30 to 60fps (at 1080p), and it also doubles the rate at which the MHL cable can charge the phone (when used in conjunction with a micro-USB cable).
Huawei Mediapad X1 works with the first one (MHL 1, 5-pin) and probably with the third one (MHL 2, 5-pin) because of backward compatibility

It doesn't support mhl or slimport right now, and I doubt it will do so in the future. Read about it in the OTG threads.

It's not just about the software. If the pins for mhl or slimport are missing, then it's never gonna happen. Sorry to burst your bubble

Grand Prime Lollipop possible on galaxy s3 i9300?

Hi guys,
Is it possible to port Grand Prime's rom (lollipop, not kitkat) to ours galaxy s3 (i9300)?
Sry for weak English
There are a few ROMs that are lollipop based. Try temasek or JustArchi's one on the ROM section. They work great.

No and it wont ever be. That is because Grand prime uses completely different SOC (Snapdragon 410) than our S3. (Exynos 4412) And probably also different proprietary chips like modem, GPS, wifi, audio dac, accelerometer, etc.
With Note 2 it was possible because they have similar internals (Same Exynos SOC) which is not the case here.
