Hello everyone.. i have a phone mentioned in thread's name... and i have a problem with its camera. When i try to open camera it just says "Camera failed" so i was wondering if there is any way to solve this? I have to say that my camera worked perfect till few days ago.. and yes, advice like "Clear cache", "Clear data" etc are all tried out but none of them actually works... Or maybe someone have stock camera app and would like to share it with me? so i can try to install it again? And what is the best apk for uninstalling stock apps? Phone is rooted
And 2nd question, i was looking on xda for custom ROMs for my phone, but cant find any that is finished and works just fine... so is there any newer ROMs and android for my phone? Above kitkat 4.2.2..

Hi i'm new here and i doesn't know if it's the right place for my problem but i installed the aokp 4.1.1 rom and now i doesn't have any contacts i doesn' have any app i doesn't have something on my phone google ay is also gone.. I know that it's because i made this factory wipe but thats not the only problem.. I can not enanle the w-lan and i when i wanted to flash back to 4.0.4 odin doesn't reconize that there is my device. My device also says that my sd card isn't working. I think i did something really wrong rhere and i hope someone can help me... Thank you and sorry for my english i'm from germany :/

After re-installing a backup through CWM I can no longer install things like call recorder built into the rom itself, not the 1 of the many apps that do not work correctly.
I can't install any mod. I've tried to reflash the roms from fresh using Odin but it doesn't seem to work.
My end goal is to have a rom with built in call recording and for it to be jkay deluxe settings compatible.
I really didn't want to start another thread but I can't figure it out.
Can anybody understand what my problem is? and if so would you kindly help me out please?
Am I missing some important info or...

saw that 28 people had read the thread but nobody had left a reply to even say if what I was asking made sense.

I am having a problem that I am still trying to find a solution and I couldnt find anywhere.. hope some help me please..
I download apps from play store, amazon appstore and other places..
When I restart my phone, Some apps (no matter where are they from (play, amazon, etc.)) They stop working.. they dont work anymore.. and I will have to re install the apps again and loss all data
And also some apps that still work, they start like its the first time I am starting them and all data in them are lost..
Pleaaaase someone help me in this.. this is frustrating!!!

Custom roms for note 2? I woulf hate that.. lossing S pen many features, lossing multiwindow and many other featurez..I dont want that..

This is Sekhar.
First of all thank you for all XDA members as they have make me to learn much much much about the devices and there usage.
Coming to my issue, From the same XDA forum I have downloaded the AbakadaROM v1.0 to my karbonn thinking that it is working fine with all other karbonn a30 mobiles.
After flashing the device using the CWMR recovery ( cleared data, factory reset, cleared cache, cleared system and cleared the dvlick) am unable to use the rear camera on my device. Front camera is working fine but no rear camera.
Tried with clear installation again and agan for nearly 10 to 15 times and also with all kind of camera apps like HDR, ICS camera, Rooted Camera app and also replaced the camera app from the system >> apps. Same result, camera is not working.
I don't bother if the front camera is not working but i prefer rear camera which I lost after flashing.
Please do advice any fix for this any new patch or rom to fix the issue please please...
I have also installed 4.0.4 again but it is not working same black screen and if you try to close it turns in to green.
Please do help me I have verified almost all threads and found that one thread is ith front camera not working but only one replay try to install ROM cleanly hmm. I tried all kind of this and please please please do post if there is any fix, I don't want to hear that it is a hardware issue.
Sorry if there is any post with the exact same issue and I haven't seen that after searching.
Hope you will find me a fi and help me as you do to others please please waiting for your replay.
Do post stock ROM of karbonn a30 if you have as Am unable to find that.

I am having the same issue, after installing that same ROM my back stopped working and i really miss the camera a lot,
let me know if you have found a fix for it .
I was also thinking of a going to service center and telling them to install the default stock rom.

I didn't find any hope of finding solution and if u have got it serviced could you please provide me the cost information?

" or "Camera is being used by another app. Please reboot your device b and try again." I flashed both of latest official ROMs, such as 5.0 and 6.0. Moreover I tried to install CM13. And guess what? Yeeees! Nothing helps! So, how can I solve it? Please help me!! Probably it`s hardware issue, but it isn`t tested. Hope on you.

If you need to change the camera, it is not difficult. I followed the instructions on ifixit. com and finished in about 15 minutes. The camera was about $ 50,- in a webshop.
