Hi all , i have the Galaxy Mega (i9152) .
i'm using THIS rom ;

everything was going well until i started using a 16 GB kingston SD card. i chose to format it as internal storage in the phone and nothing changed but just recently , while i was trying to use the default camera app in the CM 13 rom , i noticed that it gave me an error saying
"couldn't access SD card"
also , i CANNOT find any option on the camera app which can change the picture storage location.
INTERESTINGLY , the Pixel Camera Application on the same phone has absolutely no problems working in the same conditions.
so in short , the default camera app won't work with the internal-formatted SD card.
any help is much MUCH appreciated !

Hi Guys , I have a problem with my SGS II , it reboots itself automatically , and I notice that the problem started since I updated to firmware 2.3.4 XWKI4 via Kies ( before 2.3.3 ) and never been rooted , and I don't want to root it just yet , so anyone have any idea what causes this problem and any solution ? please share , thank you .
If you want to stay on stock maybe try factory resetting.

Have you got an SD card on the phone with apps on it?
Are you useing Dolphin Browser?
Yes I have 8GB micro SD card and I moves some apps to it , no I use only stock browser .
flash stock with odin again

-Ok, first try to move back your apps to the phone and test it.
-If it keeps rebooting just take out your SD card and keep the testing.
It will solove your problem for sure!
Thank you I will try to move back the apps to my phone and will see what will happen , will get back to you if anything improve
it can boot randomly when :
1. GSM signal is weak
2. Simcard is damaged or too old
3. Battery is too hot
4. Some APPS are moved to SD card (it allows you to move it, but actually, apps doesnt like it)
5. External SD card is slow, 4 or below classes, or too small sizes of sd cards (2GB-4GB) or too full of external sd card, ord sd card, or internal memory, etc. (shorly not enough memory
6. RAM!!!!!!, if more then 780mb ....,
7. too many WIDGETS...
8. too long standby
GUYS these are the main reasons, if you have all ok with above list, then you may have problems with OS, then flash and install back, or maybe HARDWARE PROBLEM (ram,cpu etc.)

I'm using cyanogenmod 7.1.0 (Stable) and tried the 7.2.0 (Untouched) I'm facing a small problem, In this ROM I couldn't found a way to save my photo and video capturing into my external SD card directly. This feature was in the Samsung Touchwiz ROM (Original). Is there a way to do this ??

By the way .. This feature is in Sony Ericsson in the same ROM !!!

Sorry can't help you, I don't find the way to save files on external sd directly , move them from internal sd it takes few seconds

The most important thing, how come this feature is in other devices with the same ROM and both has external sd ???
Camera app.... bottom left settings - to the bottom - storage - memory card????
If you don't have that option update your rom

Hello all, i have a small (big) problem with my camera on my phone (S2 obviously) but what happens is when i go to use the camera it says "your SD card is running out of space. Change quality setting or delete some images or other files." but it is storing on the SD card (obviously) which has about 15GB left and has never had any problems, and i don't think it is the rom as it does it with all of the JB roms i have tried. i have no idea why it is doing this but if anyone does could you please help. Many thanks in advanced. Yours MBrown

Is it trying to store it on the internal SD card? I think your ROM might be bad, what ROM are you using?
There is not enough infomation in there.

i am not sure exactly what more info i could include but i am running resurrection remix. and i am not sure weather or not it is trying to save to the SD card but it states that the SD card is full
SD Card if fully functional but its name is displayed as 7BDE-3B10 while on Marshmallow Rom. Till date tried formatting SD Card and also switching roms! Nothing seems to work for me. Would be glad if anyone could help me out with this small error. Due to this I cannot save pics and videos from Camera app to sd card due to the app incapable of detecting my sd card due to this name error! Thanks in advance!

Thank You CYANO11, that was informative but my problem is that i can't make my Sdcard as internal as it says my Sdcard is slow(Class 4) and now I'm using it as External Storage and this issue bothers me because my camera app isn't able to detect it as "Sdcard" as it is shown as Separate directory named "7BDE-3B10" whereas it should have been Under the Sdcard Directory! I just want to get the name corrected as either formatting or flashing roms again isn't helping me

That's not an error. It's supposed to be that way in MM.
Stock camera app won't write to sdcard anyway, so I'm assuming you're using third party camera app.
In that case check if it has permission to write to external storage.
This might clear your confusion : Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Cannot write to SD Card
After I updated to Android 6 and adopted the external sdcard, the camera apps gives an error as follows:
Memory Error
Memory not avaiable
Even if i try to change the storage, only internal is enabled.
Before the adoption the camera works fine.
Any ideas ?

Hellou there, In my case:
[ROM][PRE-ROOTED] Xperia Z2 D6503 CUSTOM MENA Arabic - 23.5.A.0.575_R5D
camera worked on superior auto wit my 64 Gb card (8gb free) for let say... 20 shots ...
then it stated no memory or space left and switched to internal.
even if i switchet back camera worked fine for couple of shots then switched to internal.
i did NOT temper with my Sd Card
I curently switched back to cm 12.1

Thanks, but at least for my case I found a solution.
The problem's cause is because the internal memory is read-only.
So I reformated my card as mixed, so the camera app was able to find an writeable place.
