GTalk not receiving messages

Has anyone had this issue? I've searched online and actually found that the issue goes back a year or two to older devices. There was no fix, the problem just seemed to fix itself after a while...
Basically, I can send gtalk messages, but I cannot receive them at all. I've tried installing/ reinstalling different versions as well as restoring a nandroid from when it was known to be working. I really don't have any idea. It hasn't been working for 4 days now...
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I got this issue today too, going on Wifi allows me to receive messages. It isn't really a fix because I'd like to use gtalk when away from home
I think it might be related to the LTE/IPv6 compatibility issues.
and? nothing to be done about this??

[Q] S Voice issues

Hi guys!
I have a GS3(GT-I9300) with stock jellybean(4.1.1). S Voice was working fine until recently, but now it gives "Network error" for every command. The same commands work in Google Now. Waking up S Voice with "Hi Galaxy!" works. I have spent a lot of time with Samsung support but they make me wanna cry, they're useless. This one guy suggested to pull out the battery for a couple of seconds, and after that it worked for a minute or so(can't see why, but as long as it's a solution I'm happy) but it stopped working again. I have tried google but came up empty. Do you have any ideas how I could fix this without rooting it(I'm not interested in rooting so please leave those solutions out)?
OK So it seems that having Adblock Plus installed blocks S Voice. Hope this will help someone else.

[SOLVED] Phone gets FC on incoming calls

Hey everybody.
My girlfriend is having a terrible problem with her new Xperia Go. It's running the latest Stock Firmware and Kernel without Root and every time she gets an incoming call, the phone won't react for about 15 seconds and then a FC Popup appears. This happens as soon she tries to answer the call. We rebooted it and it worked as it should after a fresh boot, but as soon she uses apps like Whatsapp, Facebook and so on, the problem persists and it's kinda of frustrating. A smartphone should be able to handle those things and she's really disappointed. Thinks I've tried:
-Clear data and cache of Contacts and Phone.
-Hard Reboot
-Recently installed the latest update via OTA (I hoped the problem would get fixed, but unfortunately it's still there)
-Tried using the stock launcher since she uses Nova Launcher
If someone has got an idea of what's going on please reply this post. I don't know if I should root her phone or maybe install a custom ROM. Honestly I wouldn't like to do that since she's a Noob in Android and basically in Technology Stuff. But if that's the solution, I would do that. It's really frustrating.
Thanks! Hope anybody could help
EDIT: SOLVED!
I tried to limit the background processes in developer settings and set the maximum to 4 processes and it magically solved the problem!

problems with received calls

Hi, i'll explain very fast.
I can do calls but, if someone try to call me, they can't because my phone seems to be off. I'm on MM
Can someone help me?
Sorry for the bad english
Did you install any roots or something? How did you update your phone?
This sometimes happens to mi with my Honor 6. But only when I'm using 4G.
When I move it seems to be a problem while changing antenna, and telephone stays a while without receiving calls, neither whatsapp, sms,... If I use the phone during this time, and try to make a call, everything works again.
I tried a lot of thing, configurations... and didn't find any solution. Until I tried disabling 4G ... and never again had this problem !!!
Try disabling 4G and see if the problem continues...
Thank you for the answer, but the problem is still there..
