I have buy a S4 copy in aliepxress. The brand/factory is Meso, great phone with MTK6589, 1GB RAM, 720p screen (5 Inch), some motion and gesture availible and 1:1 copy, so we can used original back cover and batterie. I want know who in this big and great forum :laugh: have same phone like me (Meso, no HDC Legend).
So with coop, we can translate in our lanaguage (I'm french), beacuse like all chinese phone, not all in french/spanish/italian.... and we can do great ROM for have more RAM, batterie life, maybe fix some bug......

I've got blank screen on both
I guess there are differences on boot.img (Spark display is only 2-point touch, and Legend/S6 are 5-point. Maybe driver issue.
Benchmark is 13000-14000 have air gestur and smart pause, no smart scroll.....

Is this right rom as shown in screenshot ? You recommended.
AOSIP is the best now. I've used all the XDA ROMs and this has the best kernel and no bugs. Also looking forward for a Pixel Experience update.

IR blaster work. I have the original app from EUI and with it, it works
Led Notifications work too
Wifi Works good
Camera didnt tested
Gps I'm not satisfied with it. I can only get a fix and good gps if I have agps with it

There are some ROMs better than paranoid in battery specially EUI but in mi opinion Paranoid is the best ROM in performance and reliability besides If you install last update (day 25) you do not get any important bug.

Thank you! Do you think any Oreo ROMs compare with paranoid? I am using AICP at the minute but I'm thinking of moving back to paranoid.
I'm trying new roms now from scartch and so far had no luck with Oreo. Lineage 14 is what I came from, but 15 with Android 8.1 is very sluggish. I then tried AOSIP, it's fast but I can't get the camera to work and file drivers crap out after a minute or two when connected to the PC. They just can't seem to get these right, maybe if they worked together there would be one good rom . I'm still on the hunt for a stable rom that does not run like crap myself.

Why? AICP is one the best ROMs Oreo for x722.His performance is great.What is the matter?.

Main reason is my phone getting hot. But we are having hot weather where I am at the minute so it may be that causing it.
Only other problem is the speaker isn't as good as on paranoid android (quieter, not as good quality)

I had the file issue too, since moving to Mokee fingers crossed it has been ok. Plus the loud speaker n mic seem to be ok on this rom. One issue on the current build the speaker output is a little lower than on some other roms when playing videos, other than that it has been good and there are nightly builds that you can install at leisure.

If you are using magisk with mokee, i highly recommend you to use modules busybox + viper4android xhifi. In the app of viper put high clarity to 100 and there is a HUGE different, game changing for me

Hello everyone, I recently unlocked the bootloader of my Asus Zenfone Max Pro and installed Magisk to root the phone. All of this was done for just thing - Trying out the Google Camera as I do feel that the Stock Camera app is pathetic and that's the major reason why the Zenfone Max is not performing that great. For Google Camera to work, After you have rooted your phone, download this app called 'build.prop editor'. After it is downloaded search for 'persist.camera.HAL3.enabled' The value would be 0 by default, Change it to 1 and then reboot your phone. Now install the Google Camera apk(Whichever you feel like, I'm attaching the one that I keep using) and you're good to go. Everything including HDR+, Front And Back portrait Mode, Video Stabilisation works.
Here is the complete video review along with Comparisons with the Redmi Note 5 Pro On Google Camera.

yesterday i just ordered 3gb version of this and glad to find your google camera app review. i earlier saw your videos with max pro m1. i like the way you reviewed it, like a daily usage user unlike others who do monotonous review which gives the feel that the person did not even use it.

It doesn't affect the battery life and apparently OTA Updates will work with Redwolf Recovery. I haven't tested it since there is no new update to test with

I haven't found anything for unrooted phones. Rooting won't make your phone dead. There are ample amount of guides here on xda which are very simple.

I couldn't see 60fps option but I will try some other google camera apk and reverify. About EIS, yes it works with Google Camera. Sometimes you get some artifacts on the left/right edge but overall the footage seems a lot smoother. I still find fingerprint sensor to be slower and face unlock is a hit or miss. I'd say it works 70% of the times. Struggles sometimes in indoor or dim lighting conditions.
i just use Oneplus Camera, i think its still better than Google Camera. Go find it at apkmirror.

after a while i read about hal3 enable, camera2api, i get to a conclusion, whats the use of them really affect the way we take a picture ? or it could make the result better ? i really dont give a **** if its there or not. but i appreciate every works here especially in our device thread.

I have tried everything but Google camera stopped working
I have searched for this device for 3 or 4 months ago and hesitate to replace it with my tab s3 cuz it is in dark scenes is too stupid and i didnt see the full details and there is a black border in up and down of the screen cuz of its dimensions and every minute give me a message with certain app stop working and there is no updates even 1 update in the whole year and there are some apps dont compatible with the tablet and according to m5 i heared that there is a problem when turn on bluetooth and wifi together cuz there are work by the same antenna and i heared too that this device dont play hd or 4k videos in streaming apps amd other problems i dont remember so is it worth to replace it or not ?? And these problems in m5 has been solved or not ?? I am sorry for the long post but i really hesitate and want to get rid of my tab s3 .. Thanks alot
