Hi
I'd like my phones ringtones to play out via my car..
My car supports 'Phone Ringtone' Mode :
“Phone ringtone”
You can activate or deactivate for an incoming call to phone ringtone. If your
phone is on silent mode, the ringtone transfer function is not available.
Note: Your phone may not have the ringtone transfer function.
I've enabled this but I still get the cars default tone.
Is there anything I can do, configuration or buying an app that will allow this to work ?
My phone is a Nexus 5 running Android 6.0.1
Thanks

Hi there. i think this is a problem shared by many users:
i am a Bluetooth Handfree, in this case, FIAT Blue&ME. When i connect for example a Nokia phone and the phone rings, the ring is transfered to the audio systems of the hands free. With my X10mini i hear only the default RING RING from the hands free :-(
Is there anyway to enable handfree transfer of the ringtone in Adroid?
there are persons that describe the same problem but not for android: for example at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=634494
By the way also SMS messages cannot be transfered to my Hands free Blue&Me. Anyone have idea how to fix this?
I think a new application to solve ringtone transfer to handsfree would help ALOT of users.
Regards and thanks..

After months of dealing with out of memory issues I finally broke down and rooted/reflashed my Optimus V. Tried the Bobzhome build but kept having issues. Finally found MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHOhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703152 and love it!
A few strange things...
a. I could only see the limited set of default ringtones so I used one of them (Simple Beep 01) for the incoming call ringer. After uploading a whole bunch of music files I tried changing the ringer to one of the MP3 files. Once I set the ringer (Settings -> Sounds -> Incoming Calls / Phone Ringtone) to an MP3 file it shows up in the list of ringers (using the default Android System file explorer). But incoming calls stubbornly continue to use the old ringer.
b. This is probably nothing to do with the specific mod...how does one shut off the Music App without using a Force Stop? I got into the car this morning and the last song that I was listening to when I stopped the car last night automatically resumed. (I have Bluetooth Audio synced). This is a nice feature but I would like to know how to turn it off.
I am working on an Android 2.2.2 (Samsung Galaxy).
I have been loading different VoIP app, such as Google Talk, Google Voice, Textfree.
I am unable set the Phone Ringtone.
The Settings - Sound - is there, but Phone Ringtone is missing. How can I get it back? Thank you.
I reset and forgot the device on my iPhone 6s+ and I don't have the bluetooth option on my watch and i don't have the ability to make calls. Is there another version of the Zenwatch2 that perhaps i have an older model that doesnt have the new features even with the unlocking of a lot of the new features?
Open the phone app on your watch and it will ask you to enable Bluetooth phone audio.
You can also go into bluetooth settings on your watch and you have the option there to "Play phone audio on watch"
Hello,
I'm using the Xperia Concept marshmallow rom on my Z3 and I'm confused about the new notifications settings, especially those concerning phone calls.
To be clear, I use my phone as a music player in my car using an Aux cable. I need my phone to stop the music whenever I get a phone call so I can answer since I'm not looking at it while driving. Whenever I get a phone call it used to be in the new "peek" function and doesn't interrupt my music. However I changed this setting and also put the phone app notification settings as priority, now the incoming phone full screen is back but still doesn't interrupt the music.
Any ideas? I know it should be simple, am I missing something?
