LG L9 (769 Model) Black Screen Bricked (I've read a lot!)

Hey all,
So I successfully rooted my phone, and then I was going to go into recovery reboot mode to install a downloaded rom. I'm not sure what did it, but on that restart I got LG Security error. I first attempted on three different computers to do LG Mobile Support Tool. It stopped everytime when it was going to begin downloading the files. I'm pretty sure if I still had the Security Error image, I would be fine, because I now know of ways to bypass the LG Support Tool, and edit the host file, and then get it downloading.
Either way, in my research after no success with LG Mobile Support Tool, I came across Fastboot. So I got fastboot, I got the drivers installed, but I'm pretty sure my problem was, on the command prompt screen when Fastboot asks' you questions I said yes on them. I believe this is what caused my phone to have the black screen. It will not go into S/W upgrade mode now. It will not do anything, just black screen. I found a tutorial over on Android Forums, and with using Fastboot, I was able to sucessfully flash "p4_769.img" According to that tutorial, after doing that I should have a dead android guy logo, and then just be able to hard reset... but that didn't change anything. Still have the black screen. Still won't go into S/W Upgrade mode.
Now according to what I've read, the next step would be to flash KDZ Afresh...I've looked for this, whatever it is, specific to my model phone, but I can't find anything. If anyone else has any ideas, I would love to hear. I'm so frustrated at this point. Very much appreciate any help. Thank you.
It sounds like now what I have to do is, using how I flashed that recovery img, I first should flash the x and uboot.bin files to my phone. Then I will be able to get into S/W mode, and then restore from there. I just have to find these bin files. I don't have a friend or anyone nearby with the same phone as mine that can:
adb shell su -c busybox dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 of=/sdcard/external_sd/p2.bin
with theres.
Hi dlipford370, you could try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51206080
Cheers. Good luck.

Lg g2 brick

My lg logo g2 fails, you fall caught. The case is that I haven ´t download mode, I have the official lg recovery but when I do it gets caught when factoring reset. Previously I followed the tutorial for linux, but in the last step of recovery I installed the official TWRP instead of lg. The case now my phone will not start, as I said earlier stays at lg logo and neither recognizes windows. Before the error came out and particiciones qusb_load driver or something. In linux not recognized and therefore can not repeat the steps to install the TWRP recovery
Please have to see a solution, I can not believe that it is irreversible, you need to see a way to start the mobile.
I'm not the only one to whom this has happened, there are more people like me, I'd be really grateful if someone could help because this is frustrating and I had never been anything like
thanks in advance.
Hi dude,
Seems you are stuck in boot loop mode.
Get a KDZ file for your phone and follow instructions in here

I have posted in that link and follow my tips if running win xp.
Good luck and don't give up. It's easily recoverable.

LG LS665 (Tribute 2) Virgin Mobile Hard Brick

Hello, I have a bricked Virgin Mobile LG LS665; here's how it happened
The LG LS665 recently got an OTA update. However, my phone was rooted, so I could not apply the update. The patch was failing because some of the system partition files had been modified. I found out that the original versions of the modified files had been backed up by the tool I used to root my phone, and thinking myself clever, I restored the original files, and applied the patch. Of course, this didn't work, and my phone got stuck at the LG logo whenever it tried to boot.
When I tried to boot it into recovery, it would give the error "Secure Boot Error 1006" and reboot to the LG logo. From what I gather, this boot error comes from the bootloader not recognizing the boot image. Dang. Not one to give up, I searched for unbrick solutions for the LG LS665, and found some. Unfortunately, the only methods I could find were for the Boost Mobile version of the phone. Reckless as I am, I decided to try the Boost Mobile unbrick process, but only managed to brick by phone harder. As a new member, I can't post a link to the unbrick process, but it involved flashing a .tot system image with LGFlashTool. I may be wrong, but my research leads me to believe the process failed because the partition tables for the Boost Mobile version and Virgin Mobile version of the phone are different.
Now my phone will not display any boot screen; I can't get it into normal, recovery, or download mode. When plugged into my computer, Windows device manager lists the phone as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". Googling that device name brings up a few tutorials of how to revive devices in this dire state, but none that seem to work without a correct system image. I believe it is possible to unbrick my poor phone, but I am not knowledgeable enough to figure it out on my own. If anyone with a clue what to do is willing to help me, I would be very grateful.
In summary, what I think I need:
Some sort of system image for the Virgin Mobile version of the LS665. (I think a .tot or .kdz file)
A kind, knowledgeable soul to point me in the right direction
Thank you for hearing my lengthy plea,

HELP!!!!! Unable to flash stock KDZ to LG G5 RS988!

I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get my phone to flash the stock KDZ.
The other day there was a stock zip that I could flash and that would allow me to keep TWRP installed if I flashed Magisk just afterwards to keep the new boot image but with TWRP. Long story short it did not work out in the end. My phone continuously too no end bootloops over and over again. I get the error code:
Boot verification Fail!
-cause : MISMATCH_SIG_Len
The only thing I am able to get the phone to do differently than that is if I plug it into a computer and hold down the up key which will get me into Download Mode. I have all the appropriate drivers installed but the device is only recognized as LGE AndroidNET USB Serial Port (COM3) I think I switched it to COM3 though.
I installed the LG Flash Tool 2014 and the appropriate KDZ for the device but to no avail I am unable to successfully flash the image back.
I had to flash stock KDZs with my old LG G3 and it worked flawlessly. Now this is reporting that there is no IMEI or something. I'm trying to pull the information off of the phone but it's not even doing that anymore.... so I'm not too sure what information to give you.
I just bought this phone not too long ago! I refuse to accept that it's fully bricked I don't believe in that unless that motherboard inside is snapped clean in half. I'm sure there are ways of fixing it.... I just don't exactly know how.
If anybody can help at all that would be greatly appreciated!
I was just getting back into having a rooted phone and miss it dearly already!
Thanks!

P.S. Any feedback at all is appreciated! I HAVE to fix this!

LG K7 MS330 No download Mode, PC does not Recognize, No recovery Mode

I have an LG K7 on Metro. It's in some sort of boot loop. I have searched XDA and the net for a solution and keep coming up with solutions involving download mode. I'm unsure of what to do next. The phone has Error # 9 Authentication error as well as error 1009. When trying to go into Download mode it goes for about 10 seconds and then reverts to the LG welcome screen. When you try to turn it on it just stays on the LG welcome screen or cuts off. When plugging it up to my Windows 10 PC it shows LGE Android MTP Device in the Device Manager. I've tried to download the Drivers from the LG site and ran the installation on the computer with no change. I've tried to update the drivers from the Device Manager Screen with no change. It also gives you the noise when it connects to the PC. LG UP won't recognize the device and neither with the LG support tool. I have tried everything that I am capable of understanding at this point (which isn't much). I have read about trying to get it into EDL but can not find the correct test points... even if I did find the correct test points I'm not sure if that will even help me to fix the device. I need to breathe some life back into this phone. I hope I did not post this in the wrong place, or violate an XDA rule. I just really need some help... XDA has the most complete guides and accurate information I just can't find it about my particular situation. Anyone's assistance or thoughts (written to a non-techy person/non-developer newbie chic) would be helpful. This is week 3 of me scouring the net for answers. Thank you
