Bootloop even after flashing fastboot - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I bought yesterday the snapdragon global version and after installing many apps i rebooted the device and i got a bootloop. I didn't made any update, it came with global stable 8.1.10.0.
I can't enter recovery, only fastboot and i flashed sucessfuly 8.1.10.0 and 8.1.15.0 and none worked, i still got an endless bootloop with the MI logo then a white progress bar. When i try to enter recovery i get a phone logo and it says: pcsuite.mi.com.
What can i do in this situation?

Just to add more info, like i said i didn't made any update, just installed around 20 apps. I used an app called Activity Launcher on which i disabled some apps like gmail, calculator, google play music, movies. I am not sure if this has something to do with the bootloops.
Thanks in advance.

You cannot flash the fastboot ROM without unlocking the bootloader..
Just apply for unlocking the bootloader...
When approved unlock the bootloader then flash the fastboot ROM...
But getting the permission and unlocking the bootloader is gonna be very painful....

Can i unlock the bootloader with the phone like this? I can only enter fastboot mode.
Is this a normal behaviour? to get a bootloop without doing any update?

Yes you can unlock...
Although it's not normal to get bootloop without doing any update...
If possible then apply for replacing your phone with a new one...
Your phone might be malfunctional...

Redmi Note 3 - Can't unlock, Can't Boot, Can get to Fastboot

Hi, I'm stuck trying to return my Redmi Note 3 'Kate' to MIUI from cyanogenmod - have searched but this seems to be a niche issue!
A TWRP flash failed and somehow locked my bootloader so my current status is:
- cannot boot, gets stuck on cyanogenmod startup splash screen, so can't flash via MIUI which isn't installed
- cannot flash via MiFlash (locked bootloader)
- cannot unlock via Mi Unlock (account not associated with device and cannot boot to fix)
- cannot flash via XiaomiADB/FastbootTools as bootloader is locked (flash tz error)
- cannot flash via XiaomiADB as apparently my TWRP install is busted, goes straight to black screen and stays there, so I can't get to 'Recovery' mode
So I'm pretty stuck! I can get into Fastboot mode which is something. Maybe I could restore a stock recovery partition via some fastboot tools? but being locked maybe not.
Try unlocking it anyway. I've done it at least 20 times by now without having to login to Mi account on phone.

well it has successfully flashed!
you legend, thanks so much for the tip.

my xiaomi is totally bricked when flashed TWRP

I fixed a prior problem with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro where there was no recovery and only went to fastboot, Went to into EDL mode and fixed the problem...
I tried to flash TWRP custom on my phone. I had USB debugging on and OEM unlocked. i tried to go around having the bootloader locked and flashed a file specific for going around Xiaomi bootloader locks and having TWRP as the recovery. So i went into EDL again trying to flash TWRP and ended up having EDL on my phone "permanently". I cannot afford a new phone. I REALLY NEED HELP recovering my phone while also having TWRP as the new recovery... :crying:

Can you reboot back into recovery?
Why would you have the bootloader locked? You should unlock the bootloader.

No I can't go into recovery or fastboot. It's stuck in EDL mode...
The bootloader used to be unlocked but it somehow got locked while flashing the stock rom because i was recovering my device from a past brick.
Officially unlocking the bootloader takes too long and is too hard...
is anyone going to help me?

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Re-Lock Bootloader

So I actually tried installing the TWRP a couple days ago. When I tried to boot to recovery with button combination Vol Up+Power Button it always booted to stock recovery. The thing here is that from the fastboot tool when i boot to TWRP with
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
after
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
it boots to TWRP and everything works fine. However, since that day i tried flashing the TWRP my phone is lagging very much. I tried to Hard Reset it but it still lags seems like there are some bugs and sometimes a "System UI has stopped" error pops up and it suddenly reboots.
First question: What causes the lags?
Second question: if i re-lock bootloader will the problem stop?
Third question: May that be the case that the .img file of the TWRP has been installed but cannot boot so it might corrupt the bootloader re-lock and hard brick my device?
I'm thinking of relocking it with
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Also sometimes wifi suddenly turns off and won't turn on unless i reboot and it doesn't always work and some system apps stop working as well. when i reboot for the couple first minutes the phones works great no lag no bugs, nothing. Plz someone answer asap i'm going to need the phone and i cannot work with all those lags.
Download the latest fastboot stock rom from here : ( not recovery rom, download fast boot rom.)
https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/platina/
Flash it with mi flash tool and check the option re lock. Or lock something like that. And the problem should be fixed. Your bootloader will be relocked and your recovery partition should go to normally.

If you want to relock your bootloader, then simply flash the official firmware for fastboot, then select the clean all and lock option in the miflash tool, then the bootloader will be locked

extract the official recovery from the global fastboot rom and flash through cmd to recover the boot, then wipe from the recovery and you will return to miui 12.1.1
what i'm trying to figure out is if i can go back to the previous version of android without risking to crash the device.
I ran the fastboot getvar anti command and the result was Anti: 2 but I am not quite clear what that means.
I am a new user at Xiaomi.

Any solution for this. I don't want to lose data
If stuck in fastboot mode, type "fastboot continue" in adb and it will proceed with boot

No. Its not my problem now
My problem is mentioned above
Bro i think you can access your files from computer in recovery so make a backup and flash official firmware using miflash tool. I don't think there's any other way.

Before installing custom recovery and installing custom rom, it is recommended to backup.
You installed the recovery well, but in order to install custom ROMs you have to format and restart the recovery, then pass the ROM you want to flash and reboot system.

Good evening ..
For all those interested in downloading the official ROM version of the Xiaomi mi note 10 Lite, I have news for you, at least for those who want and have not tried.
I tried the method of saving the MiFlash folder on Disk C, in the same way I did with the global ROM of miui 11.0.8 fastboot, to the latter I changed the name of the folder to a shorter one (example Miui11.0.8), then boot in fastboot mode and run my flash running the ROM (Miui11.0.8) and the result obtained is that, I'm back on Android 10 with miui 11.0.8.
I share this information to give security to all those who had doubts about this and did not dare to try.
This data I extracted from various forums and pointed to it to give credit to all those who previously published it.
Remember that the bootloader must be unlocked.
Regards.
Hi everybody
I've got a problem...
Downloaded latest OTA update from "xiaomi.eu", agreed to install, the phone then rebooted in to fastboot mode and does nothing else.
Rebooted the phone with adb command "fastboot continue" and this went well...it rebooted the system.
Now every time i restart the phone it reboots in to fastboot mode and i have to "fastboot continue" again.
I am also not able to enter recovery because the phone always enters fastboot mode.
Reinstalled recovery (Twrp-3.4.2B_toco_by.alex.msk1407.img) via ADB succesfully, but when i "fastboot reboot recovery" it reboots back into fastboot.
I'm also not able to boot into EDL mode.
Any solution?
Thanks

Just format userdata. In fastboot mode command. Fastboot format userdata
Then flash new stock fastboot images of eu in miflash.
Note,
Backup your data first
Good Day. I have concern but after updating to Android 12. Currently my Mi Note 10 Lite is experiencing stuck in fastboot and mi logo. I already tried flashing using MIFlash 2020 but the error occur is "Erase is not allowed in Lock State".I also used MI PC Suite but it cant read my device (maybe because of lock state also). Even in MI-Unlock (batch_unlock application) it says its locked but when I sign-in it doesnt give permission to unlock (I used yahoo account).

Question Pixel 6 - Downgrade 13-12 - bootloader

Afternoon folks.
I had upgraded to the 13 Beta, and was going to downgrade back to 12, the device rebooted and was left at the bootloader.
I had NOT OEM unlocked the device, so is there anyway I can unlock it from recovery, or rescue mode, just so I can flash the factory 12 image again.
or is there a way to install a factory image without the Unlock
Pixel 6
Regards
