guys i have been using grif_07 cyanogenmod 7.1 for some time now.....although i loved every portion of it(espically the blazing speed and super fast performance) it was at the cost of battery.....
even if the phone was charged to 100%,the battey would drain out overnight despite it being idle for the whole night......
so i am using stock now.....bettery battery but below avg. on performance.....
best rom which balances out both??
I'm currently using 7.2 (1st version), and with it I use CPU Tuner to config my battery usage... It takes about 24h to drain completely, I use a lot my phone, mainly wifi to send emails and facebook...
Im trying Icecream Sunday2 and its going very well
Hi.
Not to take into consideration external after-market extended batteries and so on, which Android device has the best (longer-lasting) battery?
I am not asking which battery has more juice. I am asking which device will give me the longest talk/text/web on time.
I know this question is very broad, but still - would like to know where to aim, since I am looking to get an android phone for my wife.
NOTE: SIM-CARD based phones!
we are on T-MOBILE
THANK YOU
Galaxy Note with cheap "5000 mah" extended battery will give maybe 5 days light phone use or 7 hours intense web use. So 36 hours between charge is realistic.
Its big but you love it for its big screen once you get used to it.

if your device rooted, try "One Power Guard" download from onexuan.com,It can help you extend battery life .

Out of the box. Nexus 7 beats sgs3. So nexus 7 has best battery. But I guess upcoming, droid RAZR maxx will be best.
Xperia S has a decent battery life
razr maxx??? it has 3000+mA right??
I am using a Moto e running official Cm 12.1, I am noticing a decline in my battery life even though the Phone Idle time is pretty high.
I just want to know whether I am worrying too much about it or the thing is normal.
I am using Better Battery Stats and PowerNap.
Thanks to the developer of the 2 apps.
I am also attaching the Screenshots.
I'm using redmi note 4 sd. I want to know in which of extended aosp or Resurrection remix have good battery life?
Aosp extended it's the best . In battery life . For me 11 hours sot
AOSP has the best battery life with stock kernel. The next best is LOS 14.1 with Prima mido kernel.
I get around 7-8 hours of sot with RR, whereas I get around 9-10 hours of sot with AOSP Extended.
What kind of screen on time are people getting on custom roms?
Please note which version of the g5, which rom, and how much of the use was mobile data or wifi.
I really like the G5 hardware, I have an h820. This particular model is not even rootable. I am getting awful battery life on Oreo, and am considering selling it to get a version that I can flash custom roms on. I was able to get much better battery life out of my G2 on LOS than stock.
Currently I can only get ~1.5-2 hrs of screen on time at the very most, over roughly a 8 hour period, using mobile data. When using WiFi, I can get about 1 hour or screen on time for 20-25% battery use. Standby drain is negligible with wifi.
