ive just activated instagram 2 factor verify
when i trying to login ( i will recive sms and i type it in instagram ) i will get this eror : invalid parameters
also when i try to send feedback to insta about this problem i get the same error
what should i do ?

use ur account username then password, not phone number
Have tried with all options, phonenumber / account name / email ... Nothing works

Hi,
I have had the same problem and I managed to find a fix. If you have linked your Instagram to your Facebook then you may try and use that to login, works that way.
If it still doesn't work then you should try and log-out of any other accounts that you might have logged in. I logged out of my other account and then the two-factor authentication worked.

In fact I did ... sounds a bit stupid, but I saw when I "auto-fill" my personal data there was always a "empty space" included ... so the data digits were +1 and so it didn't match.
So maybe this could help you ? eyes wide open and have a look when enter you data digits without "empty spaces"

this sounds mad but it worked for me .
make sure your username and password are correct , even if this means requesting a new one , then instead of going to login or facebook login or any of that go to sign up, then fill in the new username as your old one , when it trys to recommend a new one replace it with your existing username, then use the same password etc and suddenly it jumps straight back into your old account bypassing the two step. worth a try as thats exactly what mine did. once there i just immediately turned off the junc two step option.

Hi there, after browsing the internet for what seemed an eternity, I found a fix.
If you've a phone number linked to the account (which you will have considering you've 2 factor authentication switched on), try logging in with that.
If that doesn't work, try your username.
If that doesn't work, try email.
I was attempting to log in with email and it wouldn't work. Same with phone number.
The moment I tried my user-name, it worked for me.
The code sent to my phone worked. Stupid right?

Hey guys, i had the same problem as you... but somehow i managed to login... so the solution was: instead of typing the code they sent me I typed one of the codes they gave me at the very beggining when I activated the two factor authorisation. (Codes you need to screenshot and save)... so hope this will help
Hello... Even same problem I got it but I found solution what u suppos to do login with Facebook after then u will succefully login.
i want to access my account moustafa_elshafie ,once i changed the mail in instagram and phone number it forced me for security code sent to my old mail or my old phone number and in fact now i have not any access for them. please help me how to recover it

Hi, i have this weird problem with my htc hero. I can't find any awnsers or people with the same problem, so i thought i asked it here.
This is the case:
Since the new (official) (it's not rooted) rom update i have this problem with the profile pic I set for myself (the one you see in a message thread, next to the messages you send).
When ever i get a message from somebody and i open that message with the notification bar, my profile pic doesn't show in th thread (just the standard silhouette). But if i open a message via the message app, then it DOES show my image.
I have no idea how this happenes. It doesnt have to do with any apps, because i even have it after a clean rom install.
Please help me, it drives me nuts
do you have your own nmber in your address book as me?
I did this as to send test messages to myself, instead of typing my number in i couuld just type me. However this then gave me a blank image instead of my contact card image.

Hi, no unfortunately it didnt help. I tried adding a contact named Me with my number to see if that helps, but again no luck...

I just upgraded to stock 2.1 and I have a problem with the contacts app. I linked every contact to their facebook account and one of my friends (ass) typed in a wrong phone-number. Now I can't phone him without adjusting the phonenumber, cause android uses the facebook phonenumber instead of the number I saved in my phone. Is there a way to tell android to don't use the facebook phonenumbers without 'un-linking' my contacts?
Please help! I'm turning crazy over here!!!!!

I've just updated to 2.1 for a while, and luckily I haven't encountered your weird problem. Each time I linked a contact with a facebook account, I had a contact that has both mobile phone number (except if both of them are the same) However, I have another weird problem: After linking a contact with a facebook account, I choosed a name for the contact (most of the time I went with the phone name) The problem is sometimes, after syncing, the name changed randomly to another name (for example the facebook name) and I was unable to search for that person if I didn't remember his facebook name. No matter how I changed the name back again and again, it kept changing on its will.
Any suggestion?

Lol, I met with this problem aswell, but figured out how to come across it. Go into contacts, click on the persons name you want to change, click on his name again in the top of the screen (between his photo and the "linked" icon). Now you'll see a selectbox with his facebook name, phone name, google name etc. Select the one you want to show in your contacts list and then confirm (bottom left of your screen --> I have a dutch phone so don't know the english name for the button).
I'm still having my phonenumber problem, anyone a suggestion (the guy with the wrong phonenumber on facebook isn't that good with computers, so he doesn't know how to change his phonenumber (ass))

Actually I have already done that a million times, but each time the phone synced, some of my contacts randomly changed their names without my permission. Then I changed back, and a while later, the names changed again... It was really annoying

I don't know since I don't have facebook (Shock!) but I bet you there is a feture on facebook to change your details for a friend...

Ok i've foud a solution to set ID, domain and rest but i still have another problem (Moxier makes me mad). I set up Direct Push Mode , but it wont download email as push.... whats wrong now? anyone knows? Thanks
If you want an exchange email app, I use Work Email made from HTC.

I had exactly the same issue as you. Unfortunately, I fixed it by flashing the Rom again, if you are desperate(like I was because I actually depend on moxier) you might have to do that too

So some guy used my phone for a while and turns out he was trolling on this app called Quiz up. Now Everytime I log in I get this error on the app. See attachment. I tried to clear data of the app but didnt work. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and didnt work. How can I get rid of this error? Did they block my IMEI number, google account or some other harware id number? I don't get it. Please help me. Thanks
Hello, I'm facing an awful time in here, First part : last night my mobile Samsung S3 wasn't able to register to the mobile network, I gave it to a technician and he made a deep format without taking a backup, (deep format because mobile was rooted, so he erased everything).
I was lucky that I already have a backup from whatsapp and an old backup from contacts.
well, I restored the whatsapp folder to the mobile and installed it from the play store using the mobile number "B" but when I tried to restore I get a message saying "unable to restoer your chats from this backup"
Second Part: I was using the mobile number "A" with whatsapp, but it got disconnected from awhile, so when whatsapp sking for the mobile number to restore the backup, I enter the number "B". I think this is why I not able to restore the DB.
I'm using the same mobile, same gmail account, same contacts and same everything, but not the same mobile number, is there anyone who can help me get my messages back to work with the new number ?!!!
There is nothing you can do as they link account by phone number. Can't really say much more as most people stopped using the app a few years ago. (at least in the states)

The only way is to contact them and get your number changed or get your number back.
They link accounts by phone numbers, no way around it.
thank you for replying, but at least how I can decrypt what I have now ?! I tried many things but it doesn't work for crypt 8, I don't have the key file, and it wasn't there before and now I installed whatsapp on another device and also not find the key file even in the hidden folders !!!
and what people use now instead of whatsapp !?
