Remix OS black screens during varying parts of first boot/install - Remix OS for PC

Hi there everyone,
Never thought I'd start off a post listing PC specs, but here we go. I have an Inspiron 14 3452 with a dual core Celeron N3050 processor and 2GB RAM. I'm trying to boot ROS from a 2.0 USB on a 2.0 port. I've disabled secure boot.
I've tried this install a few times, the first time dumbly with Secure Boot on. This got me to the flashing boot logo. I turned Secure Boot off and tried again. This time it started to boot but never got to the ROS logo before black screening. I tried a different initrd provided somewhere on XDA, which did nothing. I then reformatted and tried from scratch.
This time it was quick. It blackscreened right after the Android x86 logo. I restarted and tried twice more, stuck on "formatting data partition" before hitting the black screen again.
I'd be happy to provide a log, but I tried using Verbose and can't find a log file anywhere on the drive.
Any and all advice and help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

[Q] Boot animation problem

Hello,
A couple of weeks ago I decided to change my boot animation on my Archos 101. With Super Manager I copied a bootanimation.zip file to the right folder. When I rebooted my Archos, I saw that the boot animation was very slow and that my tablet wasn't booting anymore. I tried to reboot a couple of times, but still it wasn't working.
Then I went into the BIOS and I saw an option to reset my tablet. I chose that option and after that I booted my Archos. The boot animation was still there, but this time it was booting (after a couple of hours). I tried to delete the boot animation, but unfortunately my tablet wasn't rooted anymore. I tried to root it again, but I couldn't get in the BIOS. I've tried dozens of times, but I still cannot enter the BIOS.
Can someone help me with this issue?

[Q] ALLWINNER A10 Booting Problems, stuck on Android Logo

Hi
Having major issues with my Tablet
Make - ArtView, Model - AT9C-A10WAA
Its an Allwinner A10 with ARM Cotex A8 and 1GB DDR3 Ram.
Turn it on and it just hangs and shows Android Logo for ever. Have tried coupl eof things to resolve such as use LiveSuit to flash new img.
I have downloaded both images from Artview Support Website and no joy opn either, tried another rom but still no luck each time just hangs and gets stuck on android logo.
I did however manage to get tablet to load up, and it worked fine but not sure if relaterd but went into settings and signed in with my gmail account and then just froze, turned off and then got stucvk again at android logo.
I have since tried reflashing but no joy. Tried the Advanced format setting on LiveSuit with rom from ArtView but nothing.
Any ideas what to do, rather than using LiveSuit rebooted tablet holding down VOL - and Power into Recovery Mode but when selecting flash from SD Card it doesnt show anything

AllWinner A33 not displaying after trying to get out of reboot loop

I managed to get out of the reboot loop (constantly showing the boot animation) by flashing the device using the A33 firmware + Phoenix flash utility from AllWinner website. I can see the download transfer of the image up to 100%... then completes successfully. Showing, 1 complete, 0 failed. However, it just ends up with a blank screen (with backlight on but no display image). I can hear the USB disconnect audio sound still on the device.
It seems like the device isn't powercycling (due to the battery); even though I've selected the checkbox for rebooting the device in the Phoenix flash utility.
I'm not sure how to force a powercycle. The battery wont let me. Does anyone know how to use the factory reset pinhole on the device? Can someone please tell me if I've completely ruined my tablet?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Q88 bricked itself

Hello,
I have a tablet that looks similar to Q88 A13. CPU is wm8801, OS - Android 4.1. So I had stopped using it and left it sit for like 1 year. Now I charged it and tried to turn on, but it wouldn't get past first logo(the one that appears first, not the os loading one) and would attempt to go into recovery itself, but then the android with exclamation mark would appear for a while and then device would reboot and so on and so on...
Then I triggered a hard reset with a button combo, but it didn't really help. Tablet stopped trying to go into recovery and simply kept getting stuck at logo.
I can't access recovery, and neither ADB nor fastboot is working. PC with win 7 reports it as unrecognized device and other PC with win xp doesn't even see that anything is connected to it.
I've tried unsoldering the battery, completely discharging tablet without it, soldered it back on, but didn't help.
Help?
bump
Try Livesuit 1.11.
I've used it to load several ROM's
I'm currently running FaaastJB v2.5 found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447819

Remix 2.0 Unresponsive on HDD

I just finished installing Remix 2.0 i386 on an old notebook. The guest works fine, from a USB stick, but after I install it to sda, all hell breaks loose.
When the drive boots, I get to the Remix flashing splash screen. Several times, the logo stops flashing and I have to press the power button, to continue. There is no notic, I just discovered that pressing it will make the logo continue to flash. Sometimes, it will get to the setup screen, sometimes it will restart, showing the Android screen and I go through the process, again. When it does manage to boot, it is incredibly slow and often crashes, becoming unresponsive. The furthest I've gotten is to the Wi-Fi setup screen, where the system stops responding. The cursor moves, but nothing else.
Like I said, none of this behavior happens on the USB boot, only booting from the internal hard drive.
I am using a Toshiba netbook, model nb205, with an Atom processor and 2 gb of ram.
That is as far as I got too.
Some HDD IO controller bugs..happens on some PC/Laptop with Ubuntu or Linux Mint too...
That's what I thought may be happening, as well. Is there a way to debug the startup?
Try updating BIOS firmware to the latest available on Toshiba official website first if you never update before. Also try reinstall Remix OS with RMXInstaller instead of the official ones & grub2win via Windows if you dual booting. If not fixed...then have to wait for the next Remix OS build...
Is there any way to turn on dmesg or debugging, instead of the splash screen?
