I have a Verizon Moto Z Droid. I wanted to remove the whole Verizon-Android firmware and install the brand new Android (not any carrier specific)
Can i do this?
If yes can you please list all the steps to do this? I am a newbie to Android flashing. Anything that educates me regarding the android flashing is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Another question about rooting
I'm a newbie and am thinking of rooting my LG P500. But I'm concerned that the rooting may affect the future release of Android 2.3 for this phone. Can you guys pls clarify my doubts on this? Will rooting affect the update or will the update just overwrite the rooting to install Gingerbread?
Thanks in advnace,
Karthik

if you only rooted your phone the LG update will work.
Anyone know if theres any development on the Tribute 2? Im wanting to run CM but i cant find anything.
Bootloader
I currently am not aware of any development, but I have a request if its not asking too much. Would it be possible that you make a backup image of your stock boot loader and post it? I'm using the boost variant. I kind of ruined my boot loader and cant restore or even update anymore, I accidentally tried to flash in incompatible boot loader from the ls660...thanks for any help in advance.
Boost Version
I have the Boost edition of the Tribute 2. Did you still need to the bootloader? I'm actually looking for the stock Virgin Mobile rom for this phone. If anyone has the Virgin edition of this phone and could make a backup and upload of it, I would greatly appreciate it!!

I have the Virgin Mobile Tribute 2, and I would be willing to attempt to make back up and post it, but unfortunately, I am not quite that advanced in developing for android phones. If I could get steps on backing up the stock rom, I will do that for you. I need to learn how do that anyways, as well as other android developing skills.

Hello,
I've been using these forums for years to root all my devices so thanks to all for the hard work.
I just want to know how I can root my Xperia Tablet Z SGP321. It's currently on Lollipop 5.0.2 (10.6.a.0.454).
I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything to simply root it, all I can find is for previous firmware and for other models.
Can someone please send me a link? My bootloader is is currently locked but an unlock is allowed so I can do that if required (did it with my Z2 and my Z3 so I know how).
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you

Strange that you found nothing.
This firmware can be rooted with rootkitXperia | KingRoot or Vroot apps. I recommend the first one, as two other are chinese.

Thank you so much, I'll give this a go tomorrow.
I've never rooted a tablet before, only phones so I just wanted to make 100% sure about the build and stuff.
Just one more thing, the page says it's for 5.0, will it be ok on 5.0.2 or does the 0.2 not matter?
Edit: Ok, so I ran the rootkit and everything succeeded but now it still says there is no root access when I use Root Check and I can't run SuperSU as there is apparently no binary installed for it.
Any idea what the problem might be?
Edit 2: Ok nevermind, I finally managed to get it sorted. I followed the guide located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...ide-how-to-root-xperia-tablet-z-lp-5-t3253178 and all is well.
Thanks for the help
Hello,
As in the title, I'm asking how I can root my S9+ with my carrier being Verizon. I've been trying for hours and been unsuccessful with everything. Every source I've found has noted that the US models of the S9+ are unable to be rooted. This is the last place I could think of where maybe someone would be able to help.
If anyone could help, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank A lot
I tried to understand what is Docomo and what is the relevance of it for the process but couldn't understand
I have rooted few phones in my life and am not an expert but familiar with the process
I searched but I guess cuz it's an old tablet I can't find much though I love its speed and screen but it's so outdated and can't update or install many apps unless I install high stock or customer firmware
