I port it from Innjoo 2 lte Phone
First

Instructions
- Copy the download recovery.img to your internal memory
- Download kingroot and install it
- Root your device with kingroot
- install Rashr Application Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=en
- First make a backup for your Recovery and then Flash the New Recovery
- Reboot to recovery Mode
- Enjoy

Help MT6797 Innjoo Pro 2
Hello
I have purchased Innjoo pro 2 MT6797 but I cannot root it I am in bad luck.
Could you help me to make a custom recovery for my phone MT6797 Innjoo Pro 2.
I tried your ways but it seems not working in my phone and that because after successful flashing using SP flash tool it goes back to the factory recovery. like nothing happened.
also I cannot use bootloader because my phone is locked, and I couldn't find any way to unlock it. I cannot press volum up for "yes" to confirm the unlocking.
I appreciate in advance for your kind support

i didn't find any mt6735 cm12.1 32bit support stable so i don't have any attend to port a bugged rom

Really weird bro, when I try to execute the command on ADB "fastboot oem unlock" it gave me a manufacture warning for the unlocking and the choices are select yes to confirm or no doing it by pressing up or down volume, however, when I select yes by pressing up volume no response but when I press no it send me back to the recovery mode.
Something else, is when I try to flash the custom recovery from ADB, its give me a message that my device is locked.
Also, when I try to flash the custom recovery from "SP flash tool" it works, but I cannot boot to the custom recovery its like the OS refusing the flashed image and replace it with the factory one.
I have sent you privet message with the link of my public folder in google drive that contain the official recovery file, but its MT6757 not what I mentioned in the previous post
I couldn't post it here because I am still new in the forum.

worked nicely installed hell lot of things

doesn't go further
then removed CWM RECOVERY (thought if i will go to service center)

failed to mount E/data (cache so on)

Flashing a firmware will wipe all data in internal and also system partitions and clean install your rom

I am in almost similar situation, I have CWM recovery and after trying JB ROM I am stuck on the Micromax boot screen.

nothings friendly happening
i gave it to the guys at MMX service....... its been today...... they are not able to make it.....
givin reason that it goes to same old condition after a restart......
wish me luch to give u heads up:angel:

Hi bishu any luck with your A101
Correct me if I am wrong but you started facing issues after you flashed the JB rom
Also I dont see anywhere the rom you flashed was meant for A101.
you can try this for firmware

First of all congrats!!! U have guts dude.. Appreciate that.. Now let me tell you something "MMX phones are un-brickable" someone said on this forum.. And that is true.. As our phone dose not rely on any specific driver situation like Sumsung or HTC phones. That is because of the SoC MediaTek chipset.. Thats Awesome.. Now let me rescue you..

Like I tried all these different ROMs on xperia x10 mini pro u20i, upgraded it to JB 4.1.2, and its working fine, and all these were possible because of Sony's PC Companion that helped me to get my phone out of boot loops an all, now since I don't have that kinda apps for Micromax's A101 (not even in there official site) is there any other way where I can bring the fone back to its factory settings if anything goes wrong while custom rom installation or upgradation from ICS 4.0.4 to JB 4.2 or 4.3. (I already have those drivers and tools for A101 that was there mentioned though.However I never got those driver files in the phone when I bought it though)
If yes please let me know bout a- the best kernel for A101
b- JB 4.2 or 4.3 (preferably) ROM plus and GAPPS required
c- The stock kernel or some application like Sony has update service app for sony phones(u knw just in case..)

How to root micromax A101
I have rooted n number of phones and this phone does not root.
The micromax A101 has android 4.0.4 version. So when go to settings>about> and tap build number a multiple times
the developer mode does not enable.
This sucks.

thats only one prob in rooting
u have to download this app
PDA NET+
there in go to setting inside it..... it will ask for developer blaah blaah, then click something(yu will figure it out)
and somehow from heaven u will c developer mode,
activate it.................THATS IT
done

Believe me! Nothing is wrong with your device! Just flash the stock ROM back and that's it...
Kitkat Rom for micromax
I have finally rooted my phone and i can't find kitkat rom for micromax a101.
One website says it has the rom
but when try downloading it, the website asks to complete the survey
after completing the survey nothing happens and no file is downloaded.
If anyone has the kitkat rom please upload it on media fire. I urgently need it.

Never passes from a black screen after flashing. When flashing before rebooting, it says no OS found.

Yes, I always swipe everything except deleting Internal SD Card unless nothing else works.

Flash Nut's dual recovery
Now flash the above zip

for now i think its not possible.as u have to patch the kernel..but give it a try flashing as secondary

I was on Candy Rom , used Jackies kernel to flash the rom . It flashed ok but didnt go past the black screen
for me bootloop
Since it works on unlocked bootloader, I unlocked mine using flashtool.
Did everything as per instruction, but mine went int a bootloop
it seems this ROM is not working. everytime bootloop issues.......useless crap! lol

then in twrp..wiped cache ..data.. system..dalvik..n installed ur Zip. but after the completion it says No os found..r u sure.. if i say yes n reboot.. i get sony logo an blank then..i ve tried 3times..with out success..i had to use flash tool to get my xperia to work again..any how i got the stock lollipop ftf..but could not root it. any suggestions on how to root 14.5.a.0.242 ftf

Dont wry my friend.tonight im going to upload tested rom..U can flash it without any problem and enjoy the stock rom with full root privileges

Whats the problem occurs
Sadly when I rebooted into recovery I was welcomed with a black screen its a brick of some kind I think the recovery is not compatible so long story short I am stuck how do I go back to my previous recovery or can you guys provide me with a compatible recovery image.

Sadly when I rebooted into recovery I was welcomed with a black screen its a brick of some kind I think the recovery is not compatible so long story short I am stuck how do I go back to my previous recovery or can you guys provide me with a compatible recovery image.

the custom recovery works, only through RASHR and not through SPFlash TOOLS.
(Can you please create a RECOVERY.IMG file to flash via SPFlash TOOLS ?)

Yup.... i tried temasek unofficial rom but it didnt boot up their is some problem with kernel as soon i finish it i will upload it...☺☺

wow cool thier is a bump of my project i will report it....my project is older than this but dont worry i will prove it.. first of all tried to port temasek unofficial rom when it is not turning on then i asked for help in other threads

Yeh I can see how the C4 folder could cause such a lot problems for C5 owners :laugh:
If it works on the 5.1 then it will work on 6.0 (Rooted) It will never boot on the 6.0 Stock.
Sony ROM's don't do kernel version checking like the standard Mediatek ROM's do.

Its not like your twrp port has problems, but its kinda annoying to me saving files into c4 dir and new ui looks lovely to me

Followup: I found several recovery images on the net, NONE of them work with Android 6.

I have made easily flashable firmware based on android 5.1.1 and not remix for ONDA OBOOK 10SE. The code used in the commands comes from ZENFONE 5 FIRMWARE flash, just modified it to work on our OBOOK 10SE, after months of trying to flash it.
Its now very easy to install the firmware, it requires no special knowledge to flash ..its simple and straightforward..#just put TAB in booloader/fastboot mode-connect to pc -double click the CMD.exe and wait for flash to finish.. After succes flash.TAB will reboot automatically..

I don't really know how to check the version of my obook SE. I only assume it is the V5 version because i check the S/N at the back and i see V5 among the numbers.
Is there any other stock or custom android rom you can recommend for me that will work on this tablet apart from remix Os which is very limited and make the tablet uncustomizable.

It should work as long as you on OBOOK 10SE.. whether v1 v3 or v5..
and that one is not REMIX ..its plain 5.1.1..
no other roms i know of for OBOOK 10SE.. hope that helps..
booting into fastboot= turn off TAB , hold volume + and power key after vibrate let go of volume but keep holding volume +..(if volume + takes you to recovery try-...not sure , cause i got rid of my OBOOK)...

For those with other OBOOKS= you can download stock firmware extract and organize as i did in my firmware.. dont forget to copy over my CMD to your new rom and follow folder structure.. thanks

Am glad to here you have managed..
Root! Mmmm NO.I have no idea.. would have been easy to root if the Intel temporary recovery could work on this thing.
But .. You can give the Intel tethered recovery a try..if that works for you.. rooting will be as easy as 1-2
