Anyone using nitrogenOS with pixel mod? Im looking for one.
Nitrogen OS + G Assistant Mod, if it helps.
Using Nitrogen with pixel launcher plus Magisk for root, everything works flawlessly, for weather on home screen use mini gapps or higher, open google app set the weather on, refresh your news feed then you have weather. Hope I helped.

Guys i am coming from Nexus 5 and pretty much used to google feed as my daily news driver. However, i do not seem to find a way to get it show up on my app vault (left drawer). I understand i can open Google app and see my feed but was wondering if there is a way to have it on left swipe like its available on stock android?
Also, anyone able to install and use RootlessPixel launcher on their Poco F1? I tried but could not get the intended UI as shown in youtube videos for other phones.
Thanks in advance!!!
i use nova launcher with nova google companion to get the result you want...
Use Lawnchair V2.
Lawnchair V2 works great for me
Thanks both of you for responding. For my needs, Lawnchair V2 works great. I
I have tried to install the apk on my Pixel 2 xl, but it won't go through. Is there a way without root?
There isn't, but even with root, you shouldn't do it. I've tried several methods, but it's pretty broken. With Android P, Pixel Launcher is responsible for the multitasking menu (App Overview), and with the leaked Pixel 3 launcher apk, that's completely broken.
TL;DR: Don't try it, it's broken.
Just update your phone to Pie, it's the same launcher
For some reason on Pie you can't install some APK's like pixel bridge for rootless pixel launcher or the lean launcher companion apk. On the google support chat they told me it's a security feature. I had no problem on 8.1

Yes, it did work!
IDK why you have problems but everything works fine, any Pixel 3 XL app worked, even the Actions Services
Hey! I recently installed linage os and was disappointed there was no full screen gestures!
Luckily i found this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fb.fluid&hl=en_US which is really nice and useful!
Try havoc. It have miui and oxygen os gesture
If you prefer to use MIUI-like gestures, you can use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xda.nobar

I'm running Havoc and the full screen gesture on that doesn't seem to work well with keyboards - This app seems to work perfectly though.

Lol that was a month later, now i'm running navigation gesture app for gestures, it have options to disable gesture when keyboard is on
It might sound silly but I actually one of those guys who pay attention to small details in making my experience using this budget phone feels like extraordinary. Some icons on the notification bar are just dull like the battery icon. The looks is just not for me especially after looking the one in iPhone 11. My main goal for now is just to change that alone, but if there's an app that offers more customization for other icons, I will gladly take them. I tried googling it and found about Xposed framework. I tried downloading the apk and installed it. It says that it needs framework or something like that. I uninstalled it and go to Magisk and try to download it from there from the Modules tab. I found it and tried to install it. It gave me an error. Tried it three times. Apparently it's not going to work on Android other than from 5.0 to 8. Now I don't know where else to look since that one was the only one looking promising.
There used to be beautiful themes for POCO when it was on MIUI 10. For example I used to use one called PixPie Dark. It gave me new battery icon, lock screen animations, new navigation bar etc.
Now that we are on MIUI 11 the old themes are not compatible. And newer ones have not been made (yet) which have all the customizations.
I absolutely hate the MIUI 11 default icons. They look outdated.
Anyway here's my desktop setup.

Nice....
Does the wallpaper change as per time?
What theme is it? And what's the battery please?
Sent from my POCO F1 using Tapatalk
No, I'm sorry the wallpaper doesn't change according to time. It's just a wallpaper I selected from the MIUI gallery.
Theme is stock Poco theme with Nova Launcher Prime (Paid) and icon pack is Thin Icon Pack (Paid).

I've rooted my phone and installed custom ROM (Pixel Exp). I don't have access to MIUI theme (not that I even want to because it will not allow you to use third party theme. I wonder if there's a third party app that will allow me to change the notification bar especially the battery icon. I tried Xposed framework but it didn't work because it is not compatible with Android 8.0 above.
I copied pretty much my N10+ walls, kinda used to 'em:
Using Smart Launcher 5
I just received my phone a couple of days ago so still tweaking it a little. I tend to be a minimalist so there won't be too many other apps on the hoe screen.

just a different background(too many choices like a visit to a candy store)
Nothing fancy. Nova Launcher and each icon on the docker has a swipe up gesture to launch another app. Basically there are 10 apps I can launch. Eg swipe up on Play Store to launch settings, swipe up on Firefox to launch Chrome. The home screen should just be for widgets and wallpaper, IMO
Here's mine.
Got it through Verizon.

This is great to see! Are you going to be the maintainer?
Nova Launcher, Blackline icons (although my folder icons are Outline Icons).

I am. I just want to get some things cleaned up a bit before I post but I've been running it solid for few days now. That and I'm seeing about building twrp because I don't think fastboot update installing ROMs would go too well here

Nova, gestures, icon pack is mellow dark.
A11 needs a new home hole punch template (on reddit). Here's my latest with that revised. Nova

My setup...simple
Nice and plain for me right now with NovaLauncher and the Dirty Unicorns ROM.
"SwampWater" live wallpaper I've been using with all my phones since I guess back when LWP became a feature in Android. Love my little bug friends swimming under the screen.
