Hai
I'm trying to unlock my Asus ZC500TG's bootloader but i don't have that option in developer settings.
'fastboot oem unlock' doesn't work too, throws "fastboot remote: command unknown"
Is there any way to fix it?

the "oem unlock" command... does that unlock the bootloader?? I can't remember exactly what i did to unlock the padfone bootloader but I'm fairly certain that I had to flash something in recovery..
if the "oem unlock" command is for the bootloader that would make things easier... but then again.. would "fashionably late" be a correct term?

Yes, this command should unlock the bootloader but it doesn't work and it is not necessary to root the device or to flash a custom recovery.
Don't mess with the bootloader. You brick your phone faster than you can blink.
Use Towelroot to root your phone and i remember you have to downgrade to JB ... ehm ... no ... KitKat before unlocking.
That is just ludicrous to me.. Sorry if I sound facetious but I would never ever (even if my life depended on it) do that crazy $h!t you actually took the time to write out. Maybe if I had down syndrome... but honestly that is the only way I can see myself doing something crazy like that.
Can anyone tell more about this?
Will the command work to unlock the BL?
I tryed to unlock my bootloader using "fastboot oem unlock (unlock code)" but it fails and gives the messege in the photo

You need to turn on oem unlock in developer options
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Oem unlock is not shown in developer options I tryed to turn it on using "fastboot enable oem unlocking" but it seems nothing happens
Thanks in advance
Goto settings developer options and enable oem unlock
Hey guys, i have to send my Pixel C to repair so i want to lock my bootloader. My Problem is, that i cant enable OEM unlocking in the developer options because its grayed out saying that my bootloader is already unlocked. "fastboot flashing lock" and "fastboot oem lock" both give me the error "FAILED (remote: Enable OEM unlock is not set)". I already tried resetting, flashing various factory images and disabling the lockscreen.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
On my V30 (LG-H930) ) previously unlock and root
I've tried to install a new version via twrp, but I did some mistakes during the process.
Now, I do not have Twrp install and I'm unable to flash anything.
In fastboot mode, I get the message "Please check Enable OEM unlock in developer Options"....
But In developer options, "Enable OEM unlock" is grey and "Bootloader is already unlock" !!!
I've tried many things (using LGUP, kdz...) but the problem is still there.
Any ideas ?
I'm on V22j-GLOBAL-COM.
Thanks in advance
I have the Unlock Code (from the official page; is of course down)
I have OEM Unlocking enabled in developer settings
USB Debugging is enabled
Android 10.0.0.177 (EMUI 10.0.0)
Reseted all settings
"Find my Phone" is disabled
cmd.exe is running as admin
"fastboot devices" lists my honor 10 properly, so all things should work...
"adb reboot bootloader" works (says that Phone IS locked)
"fastboot reboot" works
When I try to unlock my OEM with fastboot I get this message: "fastboot oem unlock code"
...
FAILED (remote: invalid command)
finished. total time: 0.020s
What I think could be is that its an error on the adb/fastboot/driver side or that the code is wrong, which would be weird.

You can not unlock bootloader on emui 10. Bootloader unlock is removed in emui 10. To unlock downgrade to emui 9.
