I had been using RR ROM. After flashing back to miui lost IMEI. It was recovered back by restoring with qpst. But now it shows the sim to be detected and there is no signal coming. I checked phone information *#*#4636#*#* and it shows that radio is off . When I try to turn it on it doesn't. Also the phone shows to be in airplane mode when I try to make a call.Even though when I checked the settings it is not in airplane mode. Could anyone help me out with this?

I tried that. But still no change. The radio is still off.
Extract non-hlos from official rom and flash it in fastboot mode using adb
is your imei turn back? try to restart modem using dfs ..
i own redmi note 3 3gb 32gb KATE device, having the same radio turn off issue
my fix is i flash modem from kenzo into my kate, you can try that vice versa.

Hi all
Im owning Kate device, certified by xiaomi it a KATE device as i check online by IMEI and SN
However when i flash official miui for Kate through EDL method, 'clean all', my phone will have signal issue, i check inside settings, the radio service is not turning on, IMEI still intact, Simcard is detected however still no signal
I need to fix it by flashing KENZO modem or kenzo rom to fix the issue.
May i know how to fix this
is it gonna be an issue if im using kate but flash kenzo rom/modem , as for my checking there some issue with 4g turn to 3g frequently. :crying:
Would not advise it, "kenzo" modem firmware has drivers for other sensors than just the connectivity, ie fingerprint etc.
I would advise to search for another solution if possible for your problem. Maybe check the APN settings are correct for your provider!
added apn setting as suggested by telco, still the same no line
in Kate modem/rom if i accces #*#*4636$#*#* i can see radio signal is turn off. cannot turn on even press and wait many times
if i flash kenzo modem, i can set on and off the signal.
anyone know any related fix.
I used MTK engineering mode to lock to band 40 but after turning airplane mode on and off the phone wouldn't detect any SIM card. Found out later that both the baseband version and IMEI are missing. Tried flashing the latest stable global ROM and using Maui tools to flash the IMEIs and MEID but they still remain unknown and I can't use the device to make calls. Is there anything else I can try?

much the same case with mine. I've tried Maui_META method still no luck
This afternoon the signal on the phone was lost. There is no way to recover it. I have flashed the ROM again, restored, changed the kernel and remains the same.
When I try to call it says "Disable airplane mode" airplane mode which obviously is not set.
I do not know what to do.
My SIM works well on another phone but other SIMs do not work on mine.
Thanks.
I followed this and don't work:

Hi all,
I am completely stuck with this, I couldnt get any wifi it wouldnt turn on and when I did it just turned off again. It also wont read my sim card and randomly restarts.
I tried factory resetting but its now just stuck getting me through the android setup and needs internet in order for me to register the account that I previously used on the phone, otherwise it wont let me pass. It wont turn on wifi still and still doesnt register my sim card.
Please help as I have been trying this for hours and Im honestly at the end of my rope.
Cheers,
Evan
update:
I have tried,
factory reset
Flashing the rom,
downgrading,
upgrading,
wiping everything and putting latest miui again,
used twrp for running a recovery.
None of this has worked - all came to the same problem
So i believe that I found the issue. I managed to actually get in to the phone without needing to login to my mi account after a long few hours troubleshooting. Managed to boot in to miui 9.
I can see that my IMEI numbers are showing as UNKNOWN
I am going to see if I can find the box for my phone and then get the imei numbers back in the EFS file using miracle box
** :UPDATE 2.0: **
Hi.
So I am now witnessing really strange behavior.......
The phone will reboot ocassionally. Ive not recorded a pattern but every now and again it will register the SIM card but wont turn on the wifi.
The IMEI numbers will show, the base band version will show and the mac address. But I dont think they are correct.....
----------
Its showing
IMEI (SLOT1):
868xxxxxxxxx333
IMEI (sv1)
00
IMEI (SLOT2):
868xxxxxxxxx341
IMEI (sv2)
00
----------------------------
Baseband version:
Will update on next reboot that shows it as I didnt manage to capture the data when it did actually appear
----------------------------
Mac address:
02:00:00:00:00:00
I don't think some of this is correct.....
Like the mac address.... It doesnt look right to me.....
Anyone help with these symptoms?
It wont actually connect to any network still when it shows these details and after a short few minutes will restart and show them as unknown again.
Kind regards,
Evan
Try fastboot rom

I already tried to flash several global releases from Mis website and had the same error with the imei on each one. Will a rom from here actually be any different?

Okay I think I'm completely screwed. I am unable to edit the qcn/unable to restore from a custom qcn and I can't get find any roms that fix the issue.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS IS STRESSING ME OUT SO MUCH, I JUST WANT MY PHONE TO WORK AGAIN
@Mod plz can you recommend anyone to help me out??
The fastboot rom is different from the one that use to be flashed with twrp. Did you given a try with fastboot rom? Internet is required while flashing with miflash as it uses your mi account. Don't loose hope.
Thanks.

Have you tried flashing with the MiFlash tool? Or is this what you meant by fastboot?
I know this isn't the help you're looking for but if you need your phone to work just take it to a service center. It'll cost money off course, but they'll help you. Some service centers do it within a few minutes
The same problem than me
Hello Evoku, how r u?

Hi!!
I have the same problem, any good news?
i have the same problem.. when i connet to wifi after fastboot rom flash it goes to sleep and never works again.. then i have to flush fastboot rom again and again. what should i do
Watch this

Try the persist fix. If that doesnt help, i doubt that some box will, as it appears to be a hardware issue..
Hi guys, some problem to me and I just fix it.
I noticed that if the phone is switched off for at least 10 minutes then wifi and SIM card are working for some minutes before stop. I used this time to unlock the bootrom, install the TWRP, root the phone and backup the EFS partition ready to apply the "Super guide: Persist file the magical file". On TWRP I noticed that I don't have the persist partition for the magical file. Anyhow I powered on the phone and now WiFi and SIM card are working properly! Hope this helps.
Hi guys,
I have Pocophone f1 Global version (M1805E10A) 6gb RAM 64gb storage). I had a problem about IMEI and tried to fix it. Finally i fixed it, but now when i insert the sim card, phone recognises the sim card, asks me pin code. No problem till here. After entering pin code, phone unlocks but there is no service all the time. When i try to make a call it says "Turn off airplane mode to make a call." and "RADIO OFF" in the screen, as i marked in the photo.
In the Hardware Test section (*#4636#*#*) yes detect.
What i did for fixing;
1. Flashed china developer rom; did not work,
2. Flashed global developer rom; did not work,
3. Flashed NON-HLOS.bin file from gobal developer rom via fastboot adb; did not work,
4. Flashed gobal stable rom; did not work,
5. Flashed NON-HLOS.bin file from gobal stable rom via fastboot adb; did not work,
6. Tried to flashed .qcn file from another Redmi Note 4 Global version but get an error on this and could ot do this,
7. Flashed RR rom by TWTP, clean flash; didn't work,
8. Flashed latest developer rom from xiaomi.eu; didn't work.
I show about phone section for my phone at the picture too. I have bootloader unlocked, no root access for now (i had before and can get easly)
Please help...
I can't upload photos because I'm a beginner
Thanks

i also have the same problem.its a hardware issue..the radio module is damaged which comes pre attatched with the main board.i visited service center they told i had to replace mainboard which cost around 11k.better buy a new phone instead.but the phone is working absolutely fine only the signal is not coming.
I also have similar problem. Constant wifi and mobile service droping. On MIUI 11 and Lineage 17.1(custom rom not helped). Maybe someone will answer on this problem?
Hi there,
May be you already did this. But out of curiosity wants you to know that you can try this if not yet done. May be your phone network come back Alive.
Go to settings > my device > all specs > internal storage
Click on this for couple of times 3 to 4 times.. then you will be entering phone information.
Select phone information 1 and turn on mobile radio power button there. Like wise for the other sim. May be it's turned off there and is the reason for the problem.
I am sorry if it didn't help. Anyway keep trying until you succeed is the secret. Thanks
Cheers

Hi to everyone..Had the same problem, phone was wet previously. Took it to service (not Xiaomi's). They changed the charging port and told me that the radio is on the same component. After the change signal is like before, everything working great. Hope this helps someone..
