if you guys use AQ5001 micromax juice 2 you all know that it just sucks !!!!!!!!!
that is why i wanted a good rom for it . so i searched and like a pro i searched "custom roms for aq5001 XDA"
i found a lot , and most of them.... leaded to one youtube channel "YTX roms".. now all the roms there promised a lot but after trying to install a lot the channel offered ...... i understood that these zips are not flasheble i checked comments and not even one guy thanked him i understood something is up
even a website like XDA which i trusted now has romswhich ruin your phones......
so the custom recovery i was using was unofficial cwm , which was from YTX roms ..... sooo something is wrong
as there is nothing on the internet with aq5001 that dosnt have ytx roms in it ................. how do i flash twrp 3.0 without usb debugging or how can i flash firmware without usb debuuging on its on a bootloop right now

He should probably post it in the general and themes sections just to be sure
Short recipe:
1. Hold down power+vol. up +home button
2. wipe data/factory reset
3. short after press power+vol. down +home button
4. use odin and install any of the official roms
5. it should boot up and then do whatever you want - even cheat on your wife/partner You are excused so don't worry

Did you cheat on your wife? This is essential
But seriously - > 100% sure you are doing something wrong - if it works for 99,99% it should work for you too. Ask a friend in "real life" to do all those steps for you.
This morning i got a similar problem after installing via odin Litening 4.1...grrrr
I finaly restore a nandroid backup (god save nandroid ) and it seem that this restore the boot part...
Anyway now everything is ok....and i'll never flash again a rom if it don't use CWM.... Nah !

Hey guyz I have noticed a problem in cm7 RC 1 that when we install traffic manager we don't get traffic usage by app it's shows everything as system traffic sooooo can anyone help me to get traffic usage by app!!I tried lewa OS it was showing traffic usage by app but I didn't like that ROM cuz it was bit laggy and it's not for me!!

dude u are using my thread and u ain't helping me just hijacking my thread nevermind as u are in trouble I guess this should work!!! hold ur power button or something power it off and then boot into recovery and wipe user data or flash a new ROM and copy the ROM using card reader or something or another cell which has memory card slot !! And this solution I just guessed sooooo try it out!!!! Who knows might work sooooo next time don't use others thread for ur problem!!!!

It's ok dude!! And cyanogenmod 7.2 RC has bugs like can't get data usage by app using any application like traffic monitor and 3g watchdog pro ! Blue tooth doesn't work !!!!!! Trying out oxygen ROM Anyone knows about any bugs on oxygen ROM!!

i gave it to the guys at MMX service....... its been today...... they are not able to make it.....
givin reason that it goes to same old condition after a restart......

Hi bishu any luck with your A101
Correct me if I am wrong but you started facing issues after you flashed the JB rom
Also I dont see anywhere the rom you flashed was meant for A101.

First of all congrats!!! U have guts dude.. Appreciate that.. Now let me tell you something "MMX phones are un-brickable" someone said on this forum.. And that is true.. As our phone dose not rely on any specific driver situation like Sumsung or HTC phones. That is because of the SoC MediaTek chipset.. Thats Awesome.. Now let me rescue you..

Like I tried all these different ROMs on xperia x10 mini pro u20i, upgraded it to JB 4.1.2, and its working fine, and all these were possible because of Sony's PC Companion that helped me to get my phone out of boot loops an all, now since I don't have that kinda apps for Micromax's A101 (not even in there official site) is there any other way where I can bring the fone back to its factory settings if anything goes wrong while custom rom installation or upgradation from ICS 4.0.4 to JB 4.2 or 4.3. (I already have those drivers and tools for A101 that was there mentioned though.However I never got those driver files in the phone when I bought it though)
If yes please let me know bout a- the best kernel for A101
b- JB 4.2 or 4.3 (preferably) ROM plus and GAPPS required
c- The stock kernel or some application like Sony has update service app for sony phones(u knw just in case..)

How to root micromax A101
I have rooted n number of phones and this phone does not root.
The micromax A101 has android 4.0.4 version. So when go to settings>about> and tap build number a multiple times
the developer mode does not enable.
This sucks.

thats only one prob in rooting
u have to download this app
PDA NET+
there in go to setting inside it..... it will ask for developer blaah blaah, then click something(yu will figure it out)
and somehow from heaven u will c developer mode,
activate it.................THATS IT
done

Believe me! Nothing is wrong with your device! Just flash the stock ROM back and that's it...
Kitkat Rom for micromax
I have finally rooted my phone and i can't find kitkat rom for micromax a101.
One website says it has the rom
but when try downloading it, the website asks to complete the survey
after completing the survey nothing happens and no file is downloaded.
If anyone has the kitkat rom please upload it on media fire. I urgently need it.

Xtouch website was already an engineering mode code.'m Using this code to access the engineering mode and mobile phone settings from the default and Mobile Speaker, I have a problem. Now this code has been removed from the website xtouch and I do not have access to this code. Mobile speaker is also my problem. The code starts with * # * #. Who are all these codes?

You could try porting ROMs from other devices
Make sure to backup first though (learnt that the hard way...)

I flashed mine with a new rom from the device's website (xtouch x718), didnt know how to backup. Ended up with the touch screen not working

Try porting ROMs or if that isn't possible,
boot into recovery and perform a factory reset. That should fix things but make a backup of important stuff on your PC first..
oh and @B4nGaR4nG you don't need root to install a custom ROM.

No you cannot because the hardware has different specifications and the model number is embedded in the motherboard

I installed it sir.
At first impression it is good but the problem is it doesnt have any camera and when i try to install from somewhere else the screen comes black and camera doesnt open means it does not work.
Plz sir help give me some patches or other files so that after installing them i can use camera
