It's definitely QC 3.0

Does your charger look the same? Then it's 3

So what is this?

That gsmarena page also says it has NFC.... Lol.
Edit: just noticed lemall has it listed as Q2
http://in.m.lemall.com/in/product/lemax2.html

It's something between QC2 and QC3. Leeco calss this Le supercharge. Otherwise they have certificate QC3 by Qualcomm but Leeco don't used.
Super quick charging with Le SuperCharge
Get moving faster with Qualcomm® Quick Charge 2.0. Equipped with Dynamic Voltage Scaling technology, output voltage from the 24 W charging adapter is dynamically adjusted over the battery charging cycle for optimal charging efficiency. Go to full charge in approximately 90. Now, that's pretty quick.

It should be quick charge 3.0. But you won't get more than 18W charging (in reality about 15W). I have never seen phone to charge at 12V output, most QC3.0 chargers top at 18W anyway.

Charging current and speed....

I used the ampere app to see what was the charging current... I checked because the phone was too slow to charge after b140 update... The app showed the following results...
Max : 680mA
Min : 10mA
But the average was around 400mA.... Is it the actual average..?? It are you guys getting better??
Ps. I'm using the charger and cable that came in with the phone

I have seen Max : 1520mA and as low as 90mA
the average on my phone is around 1000mA
it's much lower using the data cable on the PC

Yes take a 2A Charger take a Qualcomm charger for example

That depends on what you want and on the behavior of the Honor 5x if it is charging faster.
I don't know about Honor 5x and Qualcomm charger, but most devices when they are charging faster they also are discharging also faster.
I noticed this with a BT headset which was given for 8 hours playtime and when I did charge it on a "fast" plug (2.4 A), it was charging very fast but the playtime was much shorter by about half. So I had to limit it to a 2.1 A or 1 A plug to keep the 8 hours+ playtime...

I think I'll test it out to see of theres any difference.... if it doesn't discharge faster then the quick charger may be worth it ....

I have had great results with the Choe quick charge 2.0. The phone doesn't discharge any faster than normal.

Try this app to measure charging/discharging current: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slash.electron&hl=en
Stock charger that came with the phone charges at around 900ma to 1200ma for me. Average is 1000ma. Stock charger is pretty beast. It would be really nice if someone found out how to enable quick charge 2.0 on our processor. See this thread, which is a damn good thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/help/enable-quick-charge-2-0-t3374753
Also the Ampere app seems to be decently accurate.
I use a usb current meter to measure the charge rate rather than any apps. It doesn't draw full current when the screen is on. On the current meter it show the phone drawing around 1.86 amps from a 2.4 amp charger. Obviously a lot faster than the supplied charger. I don't understand why it wasn't bundled with a 2 amp charger.

Fast charging on OP2

I read that this phone doesn't have fast quick charge 2.0 and i tried to charge my phone with a Aukey charger and it's true, it doesn't have it but i tried with the original charger of my other phone (Moto X Pure) and an adapter to use micro-usb and surprise!!!
I use Ampere to measure the Max USB mA and the result was 1770Ma but when it is around 95% of battery it reduces to 660Ma.
Here is a screenshot of the charging performance. ( it says Pixel XL because of the modification on the Build Pro to have Google Asistent
I use CM14 and my phone it's not hot while charging.
It doesn't have fast charge no matter what adapter you use. 1770ma is normal as the stock adapter is 2 amps.

There you go!
That's the same current I get on stock or orzly cable on any of the 2amp chargers I have, and takes about two hours to get from 15% to 100%

as long as there is no dash charge powerbank (and there is none), you can take any powerbank without significant differences. Keep in mind that op5 does not profit from quick charge.
However, it is loading so fast even with a "standard" usb charging port of an anker with 20000mAh, that I can navigate in full brightness and still see an increase in battery
I still have the official OnePlus powerbank I ordered with my OnePlus X, they haven't been selling them for a while and I hope they'll release a dash charge powerbank.
I'm using this one and it charges fine. I can use my phone with auto brightness and still charges quite well, from 80% to full in about 35-40 min while using. This is using a good USB-c to USB-c cable.

Really? I got it for $55 on Amazon. With usb-c and the smart USB ports and 20k+ mAh.... That was by far the best deal for what was rated a top 3 power bank the end of last year.
Update: $49 now

A VOOC battery bank from OPPO will work for dash charging. Problem is they are pretty hard to find and don't come with USB C. So that's another adapter to lose.

Technical details about poco F1 battery.

As we all are loving our poco F1 i am a bit intrested in technical details of the battery its type and its real capacity. Can any one tell me how to charge and discharge this battery for a longer run (2 to 3 years) and do we have a confirmation about quick charge 4 support. And if it did support it which standard is more safe ( not fast) and can you gus can point us towards a QC 4 offical charger.

The pocophone f1 doesn't have QC 4.0.
It's 3.0.
As for battery charging, slow charging is always safest for a battery and should be done between 10-90%. Just standard for batteries to never let them die and also avoid last part that pushes battery.
That said it honestly doesn't matter since a battery has a maximum of charges before cells start to die or hold charge worse. I'm not sure what the amount is for this specific battery but a standard rule is 350-500 charges before the battery shows sign of wear.
If you look at it this way, after 1 year battery normally start to show signs of wear and if you consider how often you change/buy a new smartphone I would say normal upgrade is done between after 18-24 months from purchase. That is based on same type of segment phone upgrade, high-end to high-end or mid to mid.
My 2 cents on the whole matter

That guy Jaimani happens to be the Global Head of Products at POCO
https://twitter.com/jaimani
and its officially stated that Poco does supports QC 4.0 standard
https://www.androidauthority.com/pocophone-f1-quick-charge-4-0-splash-resistant-903926/
I checked Qualcomm site to get it verified but that PDF is from June 2018 so it isn't exactly up 2 date. Might be that poco payed for the license for QC 4.0. the Soc 845 has support for it that I know.
Now to put it to the test I will be looking for a QC 4.0

any suggestion for Qc 4.0 charger?
They are very hard to come by. I posted in another thread about this a while ago - Qualcomm list qc4 chargers but they're all very obscure brands (I say "all", iirc there were only about 3 of them)
The Qc4 standard is pretty much identical to the qc3 standard in most use cases - no meaningful difference in charge speed
Razer has a certified QC4 charger. If you can get it for less than $50, then great.
Please post your results.

Redmi Note 8 - 18w charger

I got 5v 2a charger (10w) with my phone. I see that it supports 18w. Does it mean that it supports Qualcomm quick charge 3.0? Did you guys got normal charger or fast one?
Sent from my Redmi Note 8 using Tapatalk
In my China model, I got the 18W Quick Charge 3 charger. I might've seen somewhere which says it supports QC4 but it's still 18W
With my Indian model, 18W fast charger is provided which outputs : 5v=3A/9V=2A/12V=1.5A
I also got 10w charger. It does't support 18w, qc3 charging so you have to separately buy 18w qc3 charger.
I have the global version and I only got the 10W charger
Where can u see that , got a MDY-10-EF with mine.

It supports 18w fast charger but Xiaomi provided the 18w charger in the box only on Indian varient, but you can always buy the 18w charger online & use that with your phone...
Which 18w charger?
Which 18w charger is recommended? I have global version and 18w charger was not in box.

Anyone could suggest the link for purchase of 18W charger
Newest compatible 18W QC 3.0 Charger models are:
MDY-10-EF (EU)
MDY-10-EC (US)
5V-3A/9V-2A/12V-1.5A

Hi guys, I use an original Xiaomi 30w I do not know if it is recommended, it is very fast it takes between 60/70 min 10/100%
I would just say that unless you really need the faster charge, it's probably better for the battery to charge it slower. General suggestion for li-ion batteries though I suppose you can't be sure for this particular case. Maybe 1.8x higher current has no significant effect on battery life.
Hello what is the UK version of the MDY-10-EF charger called ?
Thanks for the link. It's around 6$ in my country locally.

hello everyone. can i charge my note8 with a charger.

is it redmi note 8 supports qc 4.0?

i wonder if 18W charger is good enough for long lige of the battery life.
i am very skeptical about charging the phone with 18W battery charger,
i am afraid that this charger could harm the life of the battery, so i more in the side that says, i will stay with the 10W typical charger.
Does anybody agree with that?

Agree.
18W charger only make the battery getting more heat, which is bad for battery.
I only use 18W charger if I'm in a rush.
Now I'm thinking to get myself a Blackshark funcooler and see if it able to reduce battery temperature while on fast charging.
