The web version of Android Market has some really annoying issues with the user's associated devices:
Old devices cannot be deleted.
Only one device can be hidden at any time.
The hidden device will eventually come back for some unknown reason.
There's a massive thread about this over here but clearly Google hasn't addressed it despite it being like that for over a year.
There's a Google Android issue regarding this here so if you get some time then give the issue a star (takes just a few seconds). If you have more time then write a comment.
With more stars/comments on the issue, it may get some Google attention.

I can hide all my devices, which funnily enough, are all my only Nexus S.
But they'll come back eventually, without warning.
Posting this in the forums I haunt. I discovered this threw another issue im dealing with. Really this effects multiple industries as I found out.
This is more for any developer but trying to get the message out.
Google is killing several API services. First one was the Weather API. That one killed any app or query built in a rom sniffing google for weather updates. Anyone that has noticed there weather app suddelny stop working is suffering from this issue. Most Devs have allready updated there API address but if you havent please edit in your next revision. Keep in mind this is only one of many APIs that will be cut off soon. So pull your resorces elsewhere if you can. Sadly that stuff is privately owned and not public so its there right to do so. For whatever reason they are doing this very quietly and without warning. Not sure why but its a problem that will get out of hand quickly if noone knows about it.
Thanks.

Microsoft has denied my app from being published yet there are other apps like mine still in the store. I have asked what I did wrong and all I get is a snob response of:
Hello Robert,
The app was removed because it allows users to install apps on their device that bypass security measures on the Windows Phone Store. The app will not be restored, so you may not submit updates. This is our final communication regarding this issue.
Thank you,
Windows Phone Store Team

Version 2 Submitted for Cetification
I have submitted V2 update on both apps (NOKIA APP UPDATES & SAMSUNG APP UPDATES)
Samsung V2 change log is:
Update 2.0.1.0
In light theme the background was not displayed correctly. This update fixes that issue.
____________________
In Nokia V2 change log is:
Update 2.0.0.0
I would like to thank my friend RAM for helping me with this upgrade.
Redesigned app from the App Studio Beta into C# Language.
When you click on link IE will not open, instead it goes directly to the store download.
Added AppBar at the bottom.
In AppBar, rate link goes directly to the rate app review, now able to share link, added e-mail link direct to me if any issues or letting me know about an app that needs adding, link to my other apps for download.
________________________________________________________________
Again these versions have just been submitted and both are in the certification stage. It will take a bit before the new version will show up so please be patient with me.
Thanks HERG62123 :fingers-crossed:
The pictures below are from V2 which is being certified.
Nokia App Updates V2 now posted in the link in Post #1.
Samsung App Updates V2 is also posted.
Ok I have updated both apps and are in the process of being certified.
As of right now V2 is up and posted but in the up coming V2.0.1.0 the changes are as follows:
Nokia App Updates V2.0.1.0 - added Connectivity Pro+ and Unit Converter Pro+
Samsung App Updates V2.0.1.0 - In the light theme background was not set correctly so this update fixes that issue.
V2.0.1.5 - Samsung App Updates being certified as we speak/
Added a donate link if user wants to donate but not in away to upset user
Made buttons smaller due to accidental opening while flipping
I am using it in my nokia 920 and it has scrolling issue. means it does not scroll at all. instead it opens the app that i do not want to when trying to scroll. so actually instead of scrolling up or down it pushes the spot where i want to scroll up or down and the app that is in there opens.

Microsoft pulled my app - here is their response to me
"The app was removed because it allows users to install apps on their device that bypass security measures on the Windows Phone Store. The app will not be restored, so you may not submit updates. This is our final communication regarding this issue.

As you can see Microsoft has no bed side manners.
Planning on uploading the xap then?

I think about security issues for Windows phone is too much.
1. I cannot use any other keyboard directly writing in SMS or anything. I have to copy paste.
2. Call recorder is not supported as well in WP 8 as this is also security issue.
3. What else is security issue I wonder ?
4. No video transfer in Viber. I think at least this should not be security issue.
Everything is security issue in WP 8. Why Microsoft does not think that people will abandon the OS ? there are too much security issues, I did not know about it before buying my Nokia Lumia 920 developer edition. To tell the truth i keep my phone because it is Nokia not because of OS at all but soon most likely my WP will be second device and I will go back to Android and buy HTC again, great UI and fast and now they update more frequantely.
New Version being CERTIFIED NOW
Link to new version is in the code box in post one, but beware it is still being certified still

But they say Windows phone is the future how come you go to Android ? Also if windows phone has security measures, what is that security measures that you do not want to except before you app is published ? I hear about WP lot of things related to security, this is very strange for me. Even phone call recorder is security related, then keyboard app other than Microsoft to type directly in the SMS is not implemented too. And many other that keep developer away somehow. How come ? GDR 3 is coming soon and maybe some changes will be there with their policy too ?

If you look at the swype keyboard for android it actually stores what you type and sends info back to the manufacturer.
A third party KBD on the phone would mean that KBD app could harvest your passwords and send them on to a destination of choice.
Similar issues exist with the call recorder. Who should have access to those recordings? You? Google? Rovio? NSA?
So yes, your app got booted because you don't grok the security implications of what you're trying to do, and in stead of trying to understand why you just blame the OS.
Please, go develop for Android, and I hope you make tons of money in the process. Just quit being a whining little girl about it.

Hey, the source of your app has disappeared. Can you put it back up? I could really use it for my next version of my app for carrier apps.
Hey, you can not buy on amazon store greenify donation?
a greeting
Same here. Even I wanted to know why I am unable to buy greenify from amazon. The redirects me to amazon store's homepage and if I search for greenify on the amazon appstore, it doesnt show up. I asked this earlier but didnt get a proper answer.

About the Amazon Appstore donation-package issue
Dear users from Amazon Appstore,
My apologize for the recent issue of donation package via Amazon IAP. I'm still trying my best to find out the cause of this issue, but stuck in a hard situation.
I've received many complaints from users forwarding to me the words of Amazon Appstore support representative, stating that I've not even tested my app with IAP. That's not the truth.
Both my local test with testing tool from Amazon SDK and the regression test done by Amazon app review team passed without problems before the version release. But some days later, I started to receive feedback of the IAP failure. I can confirm the issue is global, including my test phone.
I have re-tested my app immediately with local testing tool, but it still passed the IAP test. So I tried to contact the developer support of Amazon Appstore for emergent version rollback and further cooperation on this issue, but yet no response in 2 days. Due to the complex "black-boxed" code injection done by Amazon server after APK submission, I can hardly debug this issue on my side.
===== Workaround =====
For now, please download the APK of previous amazon version
to see if they fix it fast
I just recently purchased and received in the mail the Pixel XL directly from Google just a few days ago.
I finally go into the Android Pay app to add my debit card and I get the error Message:
"Android Pay Can't be used. Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible" (See Screenshot)
I started this thread inside the Pixel XL forum here at http://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/help/please-help-troubleshoot-android-pay-t3500925
However, I feel it's better if I post in this thread instead because this one is specifically for android development and the other one is not for Android Development.
Long Story Short:
I Purchased the Pixel XL Directly from the google store.
It arrived in the mail just a few days ago
it is unrooted
I have not unlocked the bootloader
I am the 1st owner who set it up.
and Android Pay will still not allow me to add a debit card.
Google Customer Support asked me to submit a bug report, and to sit and wait for them to respond to my bug report with a fix, However I would like to get this fixed ASAP instead of waiting for Google's bug-fix team (because who knows how long that might take)
I started researching online and discovered that someone else had my same issue that they spoke about on this webpage here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nexus6P/comments/41sl7x/android_pay_cannot_be_used_google_is_unable_to/
However, he caused the issue by changing the DPI (I have not changed the DPI)
and someone in the comments section suggested installing the SafetyNet check app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scottyab.safetynet.sample&hl=en
I installed the Safetynet check app and found out my device fails the "CTS Profile Match" (See Screenshot)
How in the world an unmodified phone bought and shipped directly from Google store fails the CTS profile match, I have no idea...
it persisted even after a data factory reset.
If any of you have any suggestions on how I could fix this, I would be greatly appreciative !
