Remix OS for PC - HDMI Issues (Sound, & Resolution) - Remix OS for PC

HDMI Issues
Sound - sound is not working through HDMI.
Resolution - Remix OS doesn't detect the TV's resolution properly, and does not have a resolution settings.
Hi guys! I have encountered these issues on my Intel Compute Stick (STCK1A32WFC), I also found some users who use the same device with the same specs as mine that has experienced also these issue. I am currently running on Remix OS 32 bit version 3.0.207. I am looking forward for a fix to these issues, as it decreases my user experience.
Note: I cannot assure that I am grammatically correct.

Have you tried any apps; perhaps SecondScreen would do something
Many people have this problem. Because there is no setting to cast the screen on other screen in android so it is not in Remix just wait for someone to make it or try resolution changing apps on Play store

Can't connect Remix OS to TV

I have a TV that has VGA support and HDMI. The only way that Remix OS is even going to be useful for me is if I can plug it up to the TV.
Nothing is working. No VGA, no HDMI, even ChromeCast doesn't work.
I am using a Samsung NP300E5C laptop. The PC has 8gb Ram and an i5.
These ports definitely work on my other OS's.
Is there any way to enable VGA/HDMI ?? This is really frustrating. I went out and bought a chromecast and wasted money on that, after no HDMI/VGA support. This seems like an issue that must be affecting a lot of people. Why would you make an OS that isn't supporting these features? Let's face it--the biggest appeal of this OS is playing Android games and emulators. HDMI and VGA support should definitely be a feature.
Chromecast shows up in youtube for me but thats the only app...
Settings --> Miracast --> Chromecast works for me

Just delete the bcma folder in module and it will start working.
failed update issues
how do i use keyboard mapping
edit: good release so far, i can remove the nomodset settings and runs cooler for normal usage.
Thanks. It's a huge improvement from last update. Soo much quicker and smoother. Everything works, taskbar is back , all is well.
I don't know about you all, but I don't have any "Game Collection" area in my Remix Central. And yes, I'm on the newest update.
Edit: Also, may we get a list of games that have the keyboard mapping?
Still can't get Remix to boot on my Dell Inspiron 5150.
However, of all the releases so far (hacked and official). this is the only one that has given a clear message. I usually can't boot the nVidea graphics.
intel_powerclamp: Intel powerclamp does not run on family 15 model 2
intel_rapl: driver does not support cpu family 15 model 2
Processor: Mobile Intel Pentium 4 2.80GHz
Family, Model, Stepping: 15, 2, 9 (Pentium 4)
I'm wondering if this is related to the SS3 instruction set, as the only version of Android I could get to run was an early version of Android x86 patched for SS3 running in generic vga mode.

Sr for my bad english .
Mediatek 7630E (MT7630E) wifi is still not detected on my Asus TP300LA. Any ideas?
Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter didn't work (there is a driver on it for github) and the Intel SST Sound (Realtek i2s Audio Codec) are also not working
Wow i managed for the first time to make this one work on my old and ancient PC, ASUS P5N-MX with NVIDEA GeForce 7050 / nForce 610i chipset.
I had to edit the "menu.lst" file on the end of kernel line at the Remix Os folder from windows by adding the "nouveau.modeset=0"
Remix Os boots now fine and looks like everything works, internet, sound keyboard mouse etc.
The only problem am facing is the low resolution and i cant change it is like a default one. Any help with this as from the settings within Remix Os the change resolution doesnt show up? Is there any other line i can add or edit to increase the resolution !?
Thnx

That means Video output, not audio. You should be able to use your headphones anyway. There are 2 sound profiles, one for without headphones and one with headphones. If you plug or unplug your headphones and the sound volume changes, just readjust the volume level.
Updated then this error appears: ↓
(remix os in desktop pc, installed )

Disable laptop native monitor on Remix OS standalone system

I have two laptops running Remix OS now being used as HTPC's. One is dual booted with windows 10 and Remix OS. This one I was able to disable the native monitor so that it would only display on the TV via HDMI. By booting to Windows and adding this: video=LVDS-1:d to the menu.list file. Well after making the second laptop single boot only on Remix OS I can not figure out how to disable the native display to display the HDMI alone to achieve 1080p. How can I go about doing this and maybe switch back if needed(not priority but would be nice).
Thanks for your expertise in advance
The laptop is a HP 2000-2b22DX
What I have tried.
First I attempted to find the menu.list file. In Remix OS worth a try no luck. Pulled HD and docked via USB to my desktop and had no access to the HD. Then since I have my other laptop running Remix. I used my USB dock and was able to access the HD and the RemixOS folder, but menu.list was not there.
Next I thought maybe is I disconnect the native LCD screen from the laptop motherboard it would run 1080p to the TV without the LCD keeping it at 720P. It did increase the resolution, but only to 1920x800 if I remember right.
Hopefully this information will help save others some time that are trying to achieve the same thing.

External resolution (hdmi output) problem

hi i just recently installed remix os on my Intel Classmate netbook, i used to use my netbook for content streaming and youtube, but i wanted to use for remix os becouse its way to good for me at the moment.
this little pc has a 10.1 display resolution on its own, i have a 42 inch TV where i used to watch content with windows on the same PC, on windows it displayed a 1920x1080 resolution on that screen
but in remix os when i connect via HDMI to it shows a 1366x768 resolution (with black spaces)
how can i make remix send the output resolution to 1920x1080p?
thank you.
