Hi,
I am looking for some advice on stock Samsung ROMs that can do all of the following:
-Be Marshmallow, not Nougat
-Permits Samsung pay -no KNOX flag
-Work on Verizon and AT&T
-Maintain FM Radio functionality (flashed my Verizon s7 SM 930V to 930U firmware and lost FM radio), Next Radio says it works on note 5, but doesn't work on my Verizon Note 5 on 6.0.1
I can live without the FM, but it seems such a waste not to have it on. I flashed the s7 to have all the AT&T bands operational to migrate it to my personal AT&T plan and put the Note 5 on my employer's Verizon...
Thanks for sharing any experience!

T-Mobile is the only carrier in the US who is including the Download Booster in the S5's Stock Roms. So, here's two questions about the feature:
Assuming it is software specific and that ATT, Verizon, Sprint shut off the feature within the rom (ATT have said they may include it in a later update), then would it be able to be ported to other carriers' S5s?
And would the feature be able to be ported to other T-Mobile Galaxy devices such as the S4 and Note 3, or is limited by hardware?
Thanks
Hello All,
A family member recently purchased a VZW S5 and now I've helped to move them from VZW over to T-Mobile.
The phone is factory unlocked, and with the addition of the T-Mo SIM + the T-Mo APN, everything is up and running.
The key issue I am seeing is the signal strength vs. that of a true T-Mobile Handset. Example, in my house, I have 4 bars on my T-Mo Galaxy Note 3 but 1 bar on the VZW Galaxy S5. Additionally, it's constantly switching from LTE to H+ to 3G.
I've rooted the S5, custom ROM'd it, and even did the mod to unlock all of the different LTE bands but this hasn't helped.
The phone was running the latest FW from Verizon with the most recent Modem, but I'm wondering if there is another modem I could flash that is T-Mobile oriented that may help to improve the service.
Please let me know, thank you!

My understanding is that the phone simply doesn't have the hardware for all of the bands. It's not as simple as just flashing, to my knowledge. For example, I don't think the phone supports 2100 which is used by Tmobile in some areas.
I just went through the same process. Enabled the bands, tried different modems, no improvement. Finally, bought a T-Mobile S5 and sold the Verizon. Performance is far better, plus it supports Wi-Fi calling.

Am I able to use Verzion ROMs or which ROMs do I use for the us cellular galaxy s4
UPDATE: I INSTALLED LOLIROM ULITMATE FROM THE VZW S4 FORUMAND EVERYTHING WORKS BUT WIFI AND THE FIXES POSTED DIDNT WORK
After using an Unlocked S8 U1 on AT&T for the past few years, I decided to get the S9+ (since I don't care for the S10).
I order two S9+ (renewed) from Amazon: the AT&T S9+ model (G965U) and the Unlocked Model (G965U1), since I wanted to see if VoLTE and WiFi Calling would work on my Pre-Paid plan.
The AT&T G965U does work fine with VoLTE and WiFi Calling, but the unit has some nasty fall marks on it, and the volume buttons don't work well, so it's going back.
The Unlocked G965U1 only has a few minor screen scratches, but overall is in better condition than the AT&T G965U, but VoLTE and WiFi Calling doesn't work.
So I'm not sure what to do.
I can clearly hear the difference in Call Quality between the model with VoLTE and without (HSPA calls).
It's too bad AT&T still won't allow VoLTE on non-AT&T Branded Samsung phones.
I have read countless posts on S9/S9+ Firmware and CSC flashing with ODIN (which I'm familiar using) but I can't find a definite answer on if there's way to take an Unlocked S9+ U1 and flash it so that VoLTE will work. I know WiFi Calling won't work, since the IMEI has to be on AT&T Whitelist.
As of right now, the S9+ is on the latest firmware G965U1UEU7CSJ3.
Just to give an update. I was able to flash the S9 Plus G965U1 Unlocked model with the AT&T CSI5 firmware as shown in the Guides section. After that, the S9+ was able to use VoLTE and WiFI Calling on my AT&T Prepaid plan.
I had also ordered a (used/renewed) Note 9, and when I got it, it had Verizon firmware on it. So with it I had to flash the Note 9 first to the U1 Unlocked firmware and then to the AT&T U firmware.
So with both the S9+ and Note 9, I can get VoLTE and WiFi Calling to work.
Now I just have to decide which one I want to keep, as the S9+ was $348 and the Note 9 was $390.
I like the S9+ since it's not as heavy and more comfortable to hold, and it seems like the (smaller 3500mAh) battery lasts longer (not sure why). But I like the features of the Note 9 (S Pen) since I had the Note 2/3/4/5 years ago and miss those features.
I have an unlocked S9 and am on AT&T Prepaid.
I am playing a video about Odin right now.
Okay so I plan on switching to T-Mobile Within a week from now and I want to get a new phone when I switch. I want to get the international version of the S9 Plus but I'm not sure how compatible it is with the T-Mobile network. Will the international version of the S9 Plus work with the T-Mobile network? And also I want it to be able to root the phone because I know the Snapdragon version of the S9 Plus has a locked bootloader. Any advice?

all USA model Galaxy phones with snapdragon processors have locked bootloaders. The F variant is what you want and yes, they work just fine on t-mobile. at&t too.
