Anyone know the solution for this? I used TWRP to flash my ROM but because the LED doesn't function correctly I can't press the volume button to reach recovery, I'm spammed the volume button and it doesn't work. I've tried advanced reboot app for fastboot and recovery and neither of those worked either.
Anyone have a solution or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned, as i searched first. But to get into the stock android recovery do this. Turn phone off, hold volume down and press and release the power button. Choose recovery, phone will boot to a triangle, at this point hold down the power, volume up, and volume down at the same time and release. You should now be in stock recovery. This used to be a way to reboot the evo when stuck at boot, but it works to get into recovery as well on the 3d.
Sorry if this is common knowledge, i have seen people here and in the sensation threads that seem to imply there is no way to get into stock recovery.
Thanks, and this should help anyone wanting to do a factory reset or wipe cache from a "recovery" session.
Welrope
So I installed this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200985) a few days ago w/o much trouble. Today I updated the ROM to version 2.4 (first used wipe.zip and then the rom). When I rebooted my tab I got stuck at a bootloop (the ROM's logo keeps showing up) and it seems I'm unable to get into recovery.
AFAIK, I should get into recovery by pressing the VOLUME UP & and the power button simultaneously, but nothing happens when I do this. Getting into fastboot isn't a problem, but I just can't seem to get into recovery mode.
Can I access my recovery menu through the fastboot via the SDK manager? Did I use the correct buttons to get into recovery?
Thanks in advance
You should push on both Power Button and Volume Down buttons. Right after the Samsung logo shows, you will see two menus, let go of both buttons immediately and choose your recovery boot. i hope this will help your problem
Me and my friend have been trying to get into fastboot for quite a while on this tablet, but we don't know exactly how to do it. His tablet's bootloader is unlocked, and we're trying to get CWM Recovery on it so he can flash a new ROM, and get rooted.
Anyone can help us out here, thanks. And if you know how to get there, please explain in great detail how to get there. Again, thanks.
Turn the tablet off. Power on while holding the volum down button when you boot it. It will tell you to push up for recovery for 5 seconds and when you ignore that message, you will see the screen change to three icons, the middle one is fastboot and is a usb icon. Press volume down to select the fastboot icon and volume up to open it.
To get into recovery you just power with volume down held until you see the boot screen and text at the top. Press volume up to get to recovery when you see that message on the top of the screen. Ignoring it will take you to the fastboot and wipe everything bootloader screen. You can use the vipermod tool to root and install recovery easily.

OK, with testing I found a solution for the problem
Here the steps what i've done:
1. Load the Flyer with the power supply unit.
2. From PC Commandpromt. Start fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. I've get the message "waiting for devices". I've used a old CWM 4 reciovery Image
3. Now connect the Flyer and Start with "Power + Down". Here was the surprise that now the Bootloop stops and i see now the Boot Menu. So I change here to fastboot and flash the recovery Image new.
4 Rebbot now an voila bo boot more and I can use the normal cwm recovery mechanism to recovery one of my old images... Perfekt
Hey guys,
I have a problem since 2 weeks now and it seems there is no answer to is...
I installed TWRP and also installed after the CWM recovery for trying purposes...
Here is my problem: After installing either of the recovery mode... Normally I switch off my phone after I "simply" need to press volume up button and power button simulatiously.... BUT it blo**y does not work.
So I wanted to ask: What am I doing wrong?
I have the TWRP-2.8.6.0_S90 and/or CWM_6.0.5.1
Help is much appreciated!
I tried something unconventional. I pressed the volume up and volume down key simultaneously while power on the device and twrp recovery booted up. Try yours.
