You have to use Nova.
There's nothing like making your home KLWP theme. :angel:
I only had to adjust 3 or 4 things because of the change of screen resolution when I switched from the Note 7 to S8+. I thought a whole bunch of things would have broke because different OS version and device, but it was a piece of cake, really.

KLWP works with any launcher Stock and third party ones..
This is my set up..
I couldn't image not using KLWP and gestures with Nova.
Pinch : open gallery
Double tap : open SMS app
Swipe up : launch Google Now
Swipe down : pull down notifications
Swipe up on FB icon launches messenger
I can't think of a better way to minimize your desktop

I tried a bunch of these themes that you recommended and none of the tactile buttons seems to work on the bottom of the screen after they are installed. Do I need to change some settings somewhere? I'm new to KLWP.

You need to assign your apps to the buttons.
Open the theme in Kustom to edit it. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a list of objects. Click on each one until you find the object you want to assign an app with.
It's easy to get lost the first time. There's an (explorer) tree on the left so keep an eye on it. When you select an object, you'll see a tab list: TEXT, PAINT, FX, POSITION, ACTION. Click on ACTION and edit the app you want to launch from there. Save.

I did exactly what you said and saved it. It turns out that I had the dock bar activated in Nova Launcher and I had it 100% transparent so I didn't realize it was layered over the icons on the bottom of the Mountain theme you suggested.
On to my next problem.....LOL
I've tried a few different KLWP themes on my S8 plus. On every theme the icons that come preinstalled on the wallpaper cannot be activated unless I press my finger below the icon I'm trying to use. If I press directly on the icon nothing happens. I literally have to push below the icon to activate it. Any ideas?

The mountain theme at the bottom side touch bot working for example Gmail or phone not working

Con respecto al tema en el S8, Flash de Betinho, los botones de las app, la habilitas en ATAJO, ahi vas una por una y te redirige a cada app, una vez hecho eso, guardas y probas en plantilla, si se superponen con los botones del s8, puedes subir un poco mas arriba el pack completo de iconos. (articulos - dock - tildas la casilla - vas a la pestaña POSICIÓN y en espacio Abajo, aumentas la posición, guardas otras vez y chequeas si es tu gusto.- Una vez que estes conforme, te queda un paso mas, Abris las tres rallas de la izquierda, en EXPORTAR PREDEFINIDO, Cambias el nombre que quieras exportas y listo.- esto es para que cuando apagues el teléfono y lo vuelvas a prender tengas la plantilla configurada, caso contrario vuelve al origen del creador.-

I installed aura blurred rom a couples of time and it always de same!!! when im in camera mode and touch de miniature so i can see my recent taken pics it says mediagallery not installed.
i have also try installing mediagallery.apk in system/app and setting perms, formating my sd card.
but nothing seems to work, and u cant event imaging how anoying is to get a picture and have to close the camera look for de gallery just to see a preview.

Try downloading QuickPic from the market. Works great and is better than the stock gallery!

I had the same issue, but I loaded the blurgallery.apk and it will work like you're used to it working.

Thanks, that worked for me my camera icon is black&white thought. And it selects 3d gallery by default. I cant use one of my choise.

Ok I really love my gs3 so far not too big of an upgrade from s2 but im an android geek eh. Slight problem though... when i download wallpaper and put it as my home wallpaper it looks far too stretched inwards (1920x1800 and 1280x720 alike). I never had this problem with my s2 and i remember you used to be able to use wallpaper that moves while u flick thru homepages which helped stretching a lot. Can this be done on the s3 or at least remove the stretching since i really want custom wallpaper.

Some pictures still looked stretched and no pictures will scroll... can you help me again please?
If you want your pics to go full screen with no stretching or cropping, do this. Take a screenshot of the picture you want then go to the location that the screenshot was saved and use that picture and it will be shown full screen.

I think this is regarding your other post.
I'll let the developers know about the issue.
The only way to lock widgets is by using the method you mentioned.
To be more precise. The widget I added are blocked, but the widgets the theme itslef (zooper) can be moved, even if option is set to locked.

yes, it should hide and allow any apps place their notification instead of infinity icon.
You can share your SystemUi.apk from system/priv-app so I could have a look. (and also /system/framework folder)
And also log file from /data/data/de.robv..../log/

One thing, though. Although it works, notification icons are a little on the large side. Dunno if that's just how they show on Meizu stuff or something to do with the systemUI but they are a little too big. Is there anything I can do with very very limited knowledge on this kind of thing?

Yeah. I know this problem. But as for now there's no fix for that. But me and another man are trying to fix this huge icons. Got some progress but still far from solution.

This app adds floating apps which you can start in several ways.

- Widget - Launch a widget from any app in a floating window

How it works
You add floating apps by clicking the plus button, and then the app you want to add to the list. After that you can launch the app by clicking the list item. If you are using Xposed you can also get a floating action button on your Recent Apps screen from which you can launch the floating apps in your list. Make sure to reboot your phone or restart SystemUI from the app's settings after making changes. You can also add a quick settings tile to your status bar that launches the app if you are using at least Android 7.0.

This is an incredibly slick, original and well thought out module. This is the kind of module which makes you think 'why is this not a standard part of android?'

The only suggestion I have at the moment would be a persistent 'check list' . Something I could make a list on, then come back to without having to save or load it, and which I can tap on items to check them off. That would be extremely useful for me personally .

Thanks for the ideas. What exactly do you mean my 'change the look of the floating Burton's apart from the above specific things?
Also, forgot to suggest, maybe resizable floating windows? Either live resizing, or a just a few size options in the app settings? And colour change options for the floating apps? Just some ideas, certainly not vital but might be nice.

They are already resizable
Just hold the bottom right corner and drag. You can also hold and drag the top bar to move the window around.

Awesome. I figured out the ability to move them but never noticed the little resize icon. Might be worth making it a little clearer/more obvious, but works perfectly

Ability to resize the button would be great and distance size of it in regard to the screen's edges (or even repositioning of the button on the screen without any limitations). Nice module so far, thanks for your work.

Really weird... I have a CM13 based ROM too, and it's working fine. I've also looked at the CM source code, but it looks exactly the same as the source code of my ROM, based on which I built this module, so it may indeed be another module interfering with it.

The only other module I have that modifies recents is Android N-ify. Maybe it could be conflicting with that one?
