Hi everyone,
I just want to ask if script tweaks effective in RN3PRO, do you use script tweaks in custom kernel like radon? If yes, what scripts do you use?
Thanks in advance.

Not really a visible improvement or negligible...

Hi all,
I've tried some "generic" init.d scripts (namely TweakzV6), but I've had to reflash because it completely stalled my Sola ...
Bad luck.
Hence my question : do you know of good init.d scripts that are Sola "compliant" and that will enhance ICS stock ROM performances ?
Tks

There are some good build prop tweaks out there and systcl tweaks. Check my thread for recommends.
Thread moved to Q & A section.
Thanks, will take a look
hello, sorry for this noob question, but is it necessary to install software like SETCPU with yank kernel?

I think is not necessary... I am using this version of Yank Kernel with Sotmax V12 and I did not need SetCPU app
thanks for answering so quick,
how to change cpu setting without this soft
You don't need it for the kernel to work, but it's required if you want to OC/UC, ie changing frequencies/governors

Sorry for being late but Glebun gave you a better answer that I could have given to you.
hi..
is there any application for yank555 to show/change the settings..? like Stweaks,Boeffla Settings,Trickester Mod..?
Hello guys,
I'm relatively new at this. I am going to flash the new build of SlimBean tonight and I noticed that on the changelog it says "Removed all init.d scripts" . I also use the Yank555 kernel.
Does this mean i should now allow Yank kernel to load the init.d script for me or should I just keep it as it was?
Thanks a bunch.

So your problem is not with init.d but with your tweak which you probably want us to guess what it is?
Hey bro when I put any thing on the init.d it boot loops my concern here how to make it RUn not bootloop
What kernel are you using what do you put in init.d?
init.d usually start in kernel if it has init.d support or from/etc/install-recovery.sh for stock.
shouldn't be any problems unless it's something with scripts you put in init.d.
Upload your rom or post init.d files

Hello everyone im hoping i am posting this in the right section of the forums.
I have been working on a Kernel for the v10 and i had a couple questions.
- I have been trying to find a tutorial on how to add Voltage Control to a Kernel but no luck. so if anyone knows of any please let me know.
- When i add some GOVs to the right sections following a tutorial and then go into config and activate them. After i flash the kernel and go to kernel auditor they are not there to be selected. So i was wondering if anyone might know what i might be doing wrong.
- Is there a way to configure it where when a core is not in use it goes offline? on the v10 all the little cores stay on at around 300 even when not in use.
- Last question is that i just want to ask everyone what are some good tweaks i can add to the kernel to make everything run smooth, snappy and efficient.
Thanks in advance,
Zach

Use 3C Toolbox to tweak your kernel. Or integrate Synaspe....
For tweaks and such it's best to cherry-pick from kernels on Github.

ok cool do you know if 3C Toolbox saves to the kernel to where i could extract the boot.img later after i use 3C and those mods will be saved in the kernel? ill have to research what Synaspe is im new to building kernels lol.
Thanks sir!

Naw, it doesn't save per say a boot.img. You gotta add the tweaks to your kernel yourself

Gotcha but all those tweaks to the kernel I can test out on that app and then know what works good and then change it in my kernel. Right?

Yes....you are correct. This is one of their apps....it's called System Tuner. Try it out...
