im currently running the latest RR and am having an issue. i cant get Password Manager SafeInCloud to use the fingerprint sensor to open the app. once i enter the app and lock it i can then re-enter the app with the FP sensor.
the problem is that once i close the app i have to retype my password every time. on my other devices i am able to use the FP to open the app. this also happened with LOS 14.1. anyone have a similar issue?
I had something similar on my keepass2android app . I disabled the fp unlock feature and then enabled again on my database settings. it asked for my fp to confirm and from then on, it is working fine . Not sure if safeincloud has that option. Just something that worked for me .

Hi guys,
I'm using moto g4 plus.
Because I've enabled greenify in accessibilty.
My phone asks for finger print or pin even when I'm at home. (I've set my home address as a trusted place)
Any help would be much appreciated.

In Greenify's Settings, enable Alternative Screen Off Mode. It is compatible with Smart Lock on most phones.

Hello,
I have enabled Alternative Screen Off Mode.
But for some reason when i wake up my phone, the lock appears unlocked. When i swipe it up, it asks for PIN or Finger Print.
Further more, in accessibility i have enabled Norton & Greenify.
In device admin, i've enabled Norton & Greenify as well.
The issue is not with norton.

Please try deactivating the device-admin of Greenify. If you enabled the "Alternative screen-off", it's not needed any more.
Hi Oasisfeng,
Thanks!
Looks like my issue has been resolved
Hello,
The issue still persists.
Only if I remove greenify from accessibility, my smart lock works. I guess I'm left with no option but uninstall it.

I did this on my Oneplus 3. But still get a black screen after i use fingerprint unlock. When i uninstall greenify, it unlocks instantaneously. Could you please help me resolve this? All other features are working flawlessly.

The issue seems to be with your phone since Greenify works without issues on my OP3.

hello. any update on this issue. seems to be interfering with smart lock on my OP3 as well...
Folks,
I just got a new poco f1 128 GB. When setting up Dashlane I noticed the phone wouldn't recognize the fingerprint when enabling the capability of unlocking the app with it and a toast showed what appears to be an error (the toast just says 0x1021 over and over and over again so it's possible the fingerprint reader is getting disabled after many _fake_ failed scanning attempts). After this, the fingerprint reader stops working until the phone is rebooted. No difference after updating to MIUI 10.1 (Pie).
Anyone else having this? Any way to fix it? Not being able to log into apps using the fingerprint massively sucks.
Cheers

Try factory reset, and if it's not working, contact your vendor and use your guaranty.
Same problem here. The strange thing is, that other apps (e.g. Ethos) don't have any problems with the fingerprint sensor. Hence I guess it's a Dashlane problem. BTW: my phone is a Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite ... but it's a Xiaomi with MIUI.
same here, only with Dashlane. Redmi Note 6 Pro
Seems that I can't activate fingerprint authentication in Dashlane app. It showed toast notification error code "0x1022" whenever I tried to scan my fingerprint to activate it. For troubleshooting, I tried clearing the app data, reinstall and even reformat my phone, still didn't reolve the issue.
Oddly enough, other apps that feature fingerprint authentication such as Onedrive, Authy, Magisk, and even Lastpass didn't have this kind of issue. I submitted my feedback to dev team of Dashlane. They tried with many devices but couldn't reproduce the issue. They suggested that the problem might be specific only for my device.
Can someone clarify that the Dashlane fingerprint authentication works on your pocophone device?
Might be worth to mention that I got that issue even before I unlock the bootloader on my device and rooted it.
Same problem
Same problem here on my Xiaomi Mi Mix 3

Did you had the same "0x1022" error?
Hello,

Hi, I got my Mi 3 this week. I noticed some weird behavior from my magnetometer and Accelerometer, wondering if anybody else is experiencing the same. After a day of use, sensors go haywire and suddenly stop reporting data. Can't use compass and my auto rotate stops working. I tried different apps to see if it's a global problem or just a not compatible app, so far when sensors go blank, the effect is global. Even the Mi self test is not reading anything from the sensors. Pedometer is on the other hand operational tho.
Things come back to normal after a restart. I suspect it must be a software bug maybe?

My sensors are working but they are wrongly calibrated :/ and pedometer isn't working! I thought the pedometer was disactivated by default...

Dial *#*#6484#*#* it's the built-in test. U can recalibrate your accelerometer there and also test the device. Use power button to exit. And for +-45 test's of the accelerometer tilt your device on it's corners.

Thanks for the tip it works perfectly!
By the way, you are using European firmware or Global, because for me the pedometer isn't counting the steps :/

I'm glad to hear it worked for you. My pedometer comes and goes... Not reliable unfortunately. btw how can I check my ROM region? Got the October patch, It doesn't solve the bug...
I also have problems with my vibrator. It doesn't react to short vibrations (that much I can make out of it).

Well I seem to have the global version. MIXM
I hope they get problems solved fast.
If anybody else with the device is reading this post, can you please check your sensors with an appropriate app and see if yours is also malfunctioning randomly?
I had this problem, but I just restarted the device and everything came back normal

Yes! It goes away with restarting (and sometimes doesn't!!!)
But it's just a temporary fix, in matter of hours, you r back to the square one.

Go to Accessibility settings and turn on Touch Vibration. Keeping it off also hinders the in call volume function. Hope it helps

Well yeah, it did work actually. But the thing is, I don't like to have the touch vibrations on always, I just want it to work with G-board and some other apps that use short vibrations as a feedback...
It's like the touch vibrations setting, controls everything lol.
It's definitely a bug they have to get fixed.
So it turns out the sensor problem that I reported is being caused by the G-cam port I had installed. The solution is to close the app (in the multitasking menu !?) Whenever you are done using it.
Flash the stock rom again and your problem will be solved for sure, also faced the same issue.
I have same issue and flash stock rom but still not working how can i fix it ?
I also have a problem with compass apps. north and south are correct shown, west and east are not correct.

Did you try wiping data and cache for camera app?
So when i first got the phone this feature was working great. However, i don't know when but it had stopped working and I've just realised this. All the sensors seem to be working fine according to CIT tests, also clear data of the settings app, switched this feature is and off but no results. What else can i do? (Except for resetting)
Use the stock launcher.

Already tried that but no luck, prior to that, i received 11.0.4 update and it seemed to have worked for a coupke of days, but still doesnt work anymore
Hey man, have you resolved the raise to wake issue? My problem is similar, my redmi note 9 pro on android 11 stock launcher has the raise to wake feature that stops working every 5 days, meaning every 5 days I reboot phone for the feature to work, then after 5 days it seases to work and I have to reboot phone again for it to work and so on.
Any idea what could be the issue? Gyroscope is working fine as well as accelerometer.
Appreciate any help, i haven't rooted the phone yet, so cannot do much from shell termux...
