Viper4android fx not working on nitrogen os - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

I tried installing v4a on nos with both stock and elementalx kernal but it never wants to work...I get busybox not installed properly error even after installing busybox.....I even tried renaming audio_config....file but still the driver fails to install....any fix!??
P.S. -selinux is set to permissive

Its working fine for me on nitrogen-project.
After Installing Drivers from app go to audio-effects.conf rename it to audio-effects.conf.bak then just reboot it should work.
Press thanks if helped

That because you have deleted the config file or backed it up replace the config file and restore config file to system/etc/ then try installing drivers

Its doesn't make a difference with whatever i do with the audio config file.... I still get busybox error

Reflash nitrogen-project rom and then try installing without modifying anything

Stop bothering, it won't ever work. Try compatible mode from v4a, but that's buggy too, it works with some applications only

Or search on the thread for the 31.03 build, since that, every update messed up with viper, i'm on 31st build and i have no issues with latest build of v4a

Hey buddy, I'm on Kenzo just flashed latest RR after migration from NOS Oreo. I have been trying to flash audio mods since few days. No luck.
I tried almost all mods from viperFX to Dolby. But no mod showed me any app installed. I can see them in Magisk (14.0) modules, but no app. I don't have any other mod installed, but it just simply doesn't work.
Please help. Thanks

So you flashed viper module from twrp itself and not from Magisk? If something goes wrong, how would you uninstall it? Is there uninstaller? Could you please tell me the specific name of the module to flash, so I can look for it?
Thanks for reply

Go to magisk then modules.. delete or deselect concerned modules. Reboot then that module will be uninstalled.

Just final quick question, did you flash viper zip in Magisk or twrp?
And if I flash it in twrp, will I be able to delete in Magisk right?

Flashed it. Same thing again. I see modules are installed in Magisk, but there's no application.
Do I have to install viper app separately or it's just show after flashing modules?
I tried this same process like million times, even on NOS Oreo. Ends up in same way

Long press vol skip mod

Does anybody have a flash able mod to enable this??
+1.
I loved Liquid Gingerbread on my Thunderbolt because I could skip songs with this mod. I tried it on my Note, but all I got was searing pain.
I thought this was a standard Android feature since I've had it on every phone on most roms for almost 3 years. The only phone I didn't always have it on was the thunderbolt because everyone liked the volume to wake crap. I haven't even noticed it isn't on this phone since my music apps have recently disabled that feature.
I suffered trying to find this too but then I stumbled upon this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024867
It worked for my Verizon Note II even though its from the Sprint section. There's some other tweaks in tweakbox too that are nice as well. Its not exactly a flashable method but its easy enough.

I'm glad I didn't update to build 5 then. It works on build 4 which is what im running.
Idk maybe the updated framework in build 5 or perseus kernel is causing it not to work but I don't see why not.

Tweakbox long press mod works fine on Beans build 5 (with Perseus or without). Just restored the apk to test.
You have to select the Tweakbox module in Xposed Installer, select Xposed Tweakbox on the audio.primary.exynos4.so and audio_policy.exynos4.so library files, enable the 'Skip tracks with volume key' option, and finally reboot. Works like a charm.
I'm a bit confused on how the xposed works...someone mind telling me what all I need to download and install? Thanks

Download Busybox. Install it. Run it and install Busybox. Download the new fixed Xposed installer for JB. Install it. Reboot. Download Xposed Tweakbox. Install it. Open Xposed installer and go to modules. Enable Xposed Tweakbox. Open Xposed Tweakbox and go to Misc. Enable Skip tracks on volume key. Enable the 2 audio libraries the pops says to in XposedInstaller. Reboot.
It only works with the screen off so play a song then turn off the screen and try it.

It failed again, and it looks like clockworkmod didn't copy it to the internal storage. I will try to get the recovery log again later, when I have more time
Edit: TWRP seems to be finding a recovery.log in /tmp. I will try and see if it was generated by TWRP or CWM.

Unfortunately we have deodex only to H/F version because we can't test other versions. If you want, I ask developer to make deodex for test.

I would be fine to have a deodex test from you.
In the mean time i'm trying to deodex with the joildroid app, but have a bootloop i think.
greetings, Luc

Thanks,
In waiting of a deodexed romfor A300FU, with twrp for galaxy A3 I managed to restore with success my backup
Oops : just read that xposed - galaxy - framework will NOT work on 64 bit cpu as A3 has.

@Intel777chanel omg thank you so much for bringing the content from 4pda to xda!! Also are there any mods/custom ROMs for A300F?
---------- Post added at 02:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:18 PM ----------
Report: TWRP Recovery is working on A300F (5.0.2). Only problem is that when I shutdown(while charging) or reboot the phone automatically goes into TWRP recovery. In essence, I can never really turn off my phone 100%(unless not plugged into any power source)

Unfortunately there are no any customs on h/f/fu/m/00/09/%any other variant of A3% and nobody knows answer at "[Q]WHERE IS MY CYANOGENMOD!?"
We also have some UI mods and method to deodex f/fu/h.
I will make a thread for deodexes today(at my time of course(GMT +3)) and have a plans to make a thread for the stock rom mods.

A problem with autoboot in recovery can be fixed only by flashing stock recovery

Is it not possible to fix the TWRP recovery so that it doesn't do the auto-boot-into-recovery thing? I don't wanna flash stock recovery because I really want TWRP as stock recovery can't do much

Actually no, just because nobody knows why it's happens.
I think problem there is because in Samsung(as is so much others vendors) recovery and a system kernel are combined. On my Nexus 7, where recovery is another partition i can't repeat this problem, also i can't repeat the problem at HTC One V.
@lucky58 Your deodex avalibe at This thread
and one more think: xposed working at our device but you must use unofficial one, you can download it here(i use v5-karit now)
definitively will try both (rom & xposed) tomorrow.
Thanks you very much!
@Intel777chanel I fixed the auto-boot-into-recovery thing. It's my own fault so yeah. I didn't flash the recovery the right way before and now I reflashed it properly the problem is gone.
plz how to fix theme galaxy a3 a300h

`Thank you for your time and work!
Have you experienced any random reboots or random bootloops using your deodexed files and Xposed?
Trying to narrow down the cause of an issue i'm having.

Thanks for confirming mate. I didn't think it was your deodex zip or Xposed.
Turned out to be Viper4android causing a strange kernel panic??????
Now back on topic......
Will this work with KitKat, or only Lollipop?
Just to make sure....

[TIP] | Layers works on OxygenOS 2.0 with root |

Yup just as title states layers is fully functionaly on oxygenos 2.0 and 2.0.1 (must have root). Simply download the layers app and any layer of your choice and apply them. Keep in mind that some settings icons such as fingerprint and customization will not be themed until the dev adds support.

Tried again.. looks like not all the themes are compatible.. just installed minimal PS and its themes.
Also i dont seem to get the system UI/settings themed... if i try that with the paid themes i have, it get me a black screen.
Probably would be a good idea we all users could share that themes are working on 2.0.1
All i am looking for a theme which get me DARK Experience.
@Zyxxeil: What themes have you tried out with, Thanks !!
@Zyxxeil
which theme do you use?
Midnight and timberwolf doesnt work.

Coalfield works perfectly but a few icons missing in settings. You can always toggle dark mode and apply a different accent to solve this issue.
I'll keep track of what themes work and what dont on this thread

I give a try with this layer but i didn't select everything just framework, system ui, settings and messenger of Google.
Check the screenshot :
I didn't try any other layer theme.
Maybe you are right and not every theme works.
We must be careful [emoji21]

Or just boot into TWRP if something ever happens and use the file manager to delete the overlays folder.
