Hi guys,
I have a really annoying problem with my pollux windy sgp311. It has sudden reboots all the time.
For example I open the settings in android -> 3 seconds freeze -> reboot
open play store -> freeze -> reboot
just using the touch screen -> freeze -> reboot
well...
I had CM installed but I reverted to stock (android 4.1.2) and then to 5.1 and locked/unlocked the bootloader again. But still reboots
Also did a revert with EMMA on windows to 5.1 but still reboots...
Could this be a hardware defect somehow?
Do you have some Ideas?
Many thanks for your help
Best regards
Marcel

If you clean installed different firmwares, i presume it's a hardware defect.

Hey, can anyone please help me?
I tried to download a theme and install it in CWM mode but I guess I screwed up and it is stuck boot looping (it first boots shows the animations than says "Android is upgrading -> optimizing apps -> reboots -> starting apps - stuck rebooting).
I am using OTA ICS firmware. I tried this video guideline (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1108499) but the official ROM+Guide links are not working for my model (UHEPi think it is EP).
What can I do to fix this problem? Please help!
Hello,
I have an MTK6589 phone GFive G9 phone with 4.2.1 Android version firmware custom added on the phone (not part of the settings coming with the phone). More information about the version is in the attached screenshot.
Generally, the phone is working fine but I have been experiencing issues with random restarts when using the phone. This happens approximately once a day, the phone freezes for around 10s and then restarts and continues working normally. I believe that this is relate do some of the apps I have installed on the phone, but I am uncertain which ones or if this assumption is correct.
I would like to get to the root of the problem, could you help me determine what is causing this issue?
Is there any log files that could help me with this or is the only way to go and start uninstalling random apps until I discover which is causing issues?
Is there any way to determine that the issue is not in the ROM itself?
Thank you,
Hi, I have a strange problem with my Xerpia Z2..
After flashing a cyanogen mod to test it out.. it`s not possible for me to get a working generic Android system anymore.
The smartphone stuck in a caint of "bootloop" or, if it start android at last, it reboots after a short while automaticly.
The bootloop is like this:
Screen: Shows 10 sec. sony-logo -> than 2 sec. black screen -> than 5 sec. sony-logo -> than it starts from beginning..
The bootloop-lenght varied until it starts finally into android.. sometime it doesn`t come to that point, and it reboots for a very long period (until I get annoyed and shut it down)
I have trying the following things to solve that issue:
- Flashing several stockroms wirh flashtool (D6503_17.1.2.A.0.314_Generic DE.ftf / D6503_23.0.1.A.0.167_Customized DE.ftf)
- trying to reset the hole phone with the xperia "emma" tool
- trying to reset the hole phone with the pc companion software
.. in my opinion, the problem could be find in the bootloader/recovery.. I don`t think it`s a hardware issue, because cyanogen mod is still runs without problems. Maybe some cyanogen remains are still leftover in the bootloader, that don`t work with generic android versions.. that`s what I can imagine. (but i`m not an expert
I don`t get why flashing the phone doesn`t solve the issue., it almost seems that the flash process don`t touch the bootloader, to overwrite it with stock parameters (?) or does not fix that area which is responsible for that issue..
Phone status at this time:
Not root - not unlocked - no backup of TA - DRM Keys (The guy that I bought that phone from, saddly doesn`t do a backup /
Before you flash the stock rom, are you clearing the Dalvik cache?
Whenever I've been through instructions on flashing roms, that always seems to be a step, but I didn't see you mention doing that before flashing.

Hi, I did that.. the 3 checkboxes in Flashtool are always enabled (Wipe: Cache, APPLOG. Data)
the device was alright at fire OS 3.x.x. when i upgraded the system to 4.x.x, the frequent reboot occurred (like every 3~5 min). then i flashed in CM to see if it's the problem with OS, the reboot is still there, but strangely, if i left the device for a while (a few hours), the sound stopped working, but the reboot is gone. so it's sound or reboot for me now:crying:. Any one know what's this about? THANKS!
So I just flashed Enigma v3 rom on my j7 prime (sm g610f). Everything was fine and then I flashed the fix. once i rebooted after sideloading the fix i booted to phone up to find out that the screen is fading to black, then fading to my desktop wallpaper (only the wallpaper) then black (its a smooth fade transition), then i went into emergency mode to see if it would fix, the fading stopped, but now there is a popupthat keep appearing, saying "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" when i press ok, it keeps appearing again. I tried to reboot into safe mode, doesn't help, and tried a hot reboot, also doesn't help .

Try to use the rom without fix.And tell the ROM developer to fix this issue.

Thanks for the help, I fixed it by wiping data, cache, davlik and system then reflashing it using adb sideload, seems like problem was caused by deepsleep fixer app (or maybe xposed installer) because when i deleted those apps after reflashing (they come with rom) then installing fix zip file using twrp, there are no problems anymore. :good:
