I'm having this issue. It doesn't matter what rom I install i can't get over the setup. When I try to select "Set up as new" or "Keep your data" the error show up "Setup Wizard has stopped"..

Intall latest version of Opengapps

When its say stopped
Poll down the notifications go setting and create or sign in your Google account then back to wizard and done

I flashed my GS2 a while ago with a beta version of ICS however found numerous bugs with it that started annoying me so decided to put the latest gingerbread firmware back on.
I found the latest firmware version from my service provider on sams firmware.
Downloaded the firmware
Used ODIN3 v1.85
Left default options (Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time)
Loaded the firmware .tar file as PDA
Booted device into download mode
Started the firmware flash from ODIN
Everything went through fine, received "PASS" and device rebooted.
When the device comes back on the android wizard comes up but as soon as I try to start the setup wizard i start receiving the follow error messages:
"Sorry!"
"The application Software update (process com.wssynccmldm) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
"FORCE CLOSE"
If i select Force Close
The next message is the same but says Google Services Framework stopped..
Each time i select "Force Close"
These messages keep appearing not allowing me to complete the setup wizard.
I have also tried a different firmware GB 4.3.6 which has exactly the same issue.
Any ideas guys?
I am desperate and lacking sleep now....
Get to recovery .factory reset .data wipe . Advanced >dalvik cashe wipe. Flash the from again.

Turn off the phone .. n press volume up+home+ power u ll go to recovery and format data cache and reboot.

I tried to install Paranoid Android today (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745003) and followed the instructions. I wiped everything, cache, delvik, etc. I then installed it and installed gapps. When I rebooted the phone the Paranoid Android logo comes up. Then the setup wizard starts. It tells me to touch the android to continue with the setup. When I click it it says "Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped working". I tried installing it multiple times but it doesn't work. What is wrong?
I fixed the setup wizard issue. However, there is another issue now. Whenever I go into settings > paranoid android settings. It says "unfortunately, settings has stopped working". I tried going to apps and clearing cache but I cant even find it on the apps menu.

My friend sold a TeXet 9768HD to a someone.
Now the customer returned it with a wired problem.
When the tablet boots up and loads OS (Jellybean.rus.texet 4.2.2), "unfortunately fingerprint unlock has stopped working". It show this error nonstop, every time i click on "OK" it comes back in a blink, with lots of pain! i went to Settings then Apps and saw this "FingerPrint Unlock" there, But like system apps it doesn't have "Remove/Uninstall" option. I can't install anything on it, because this error message is on the screen all the time.
So i tried to use both "Force Stop" and "Disable" options, but regardless of that the error still comes up.
I've no idea what to do. My friend asked me to flash it, but since (obviously) TeXet no longer is active, there's no support.
"Wipe/factory reset" and "Clear cache" in recovery didn't solve the problem too.
When i pluged it to PC, it can't be recognized. But after installing "Rockchip Tool" not Flashing tools seems to show it.
Now the question is:
1st What is that problem and is there any way to solve it without flashing?
2nd if not what ROM would you suggest me to flash on it?

This issue seen on my Le Max2, X821 phone.
I've recently upgraded the EUI to the Chinese version: 5.9.023S (Stable).
After the update, I keep getting this error message, now and then:
"Sorry, Domain has stopped. Report this issue now?"
Do you know what this error message is related to?
I've tried restarting the phone, resetting the app preferences, changing the region from "India" to "Main Land China". Nothing helps. I keep getting the same error.

Domain has stopped working EUI 5.9.023S
I am also experiencing same issue as well as 2nd sim card slot is unable to get network. And some performance bugs need to be fix... As when I capture a pic with HDR mode, it takes 7-8 sec to process it. I previous verson which is EUI 5.6.013S, it takes 3-4 sec and this chinese assistant and bloatwares are headache.
Hi Zaritch... To resolve the problem of "Domain has stopped, please report", please follow the steps :-
> Go to settings
> Go to developer options
> Click on "Background process limit"
> Select "No background processes"

Solved these issue domain stop play store server error in eui 5.9 & 6.0
I had same issue but now it solves . follow these steps go back to Indian ROM then factory reset your phone the install chInies eui ROM then again factory reset your phone . problem will be solved .then manually install gapps if you want . No need to change region or any thing . I JUST FACE THIS PROBLEM PRIVIOSLY . ITS DUE TO BAD OPTIMIZATION OF GAPPS IN CHINIES EUI .
Followed instructions to install Stang5litre ROM exactly...phone booted up to Setup Wizard, but I can only get as far as the "sync contacts" screen before I get the "Unfortunately Setup Wizard has stopped popup" and when I click OK it takes me back to start of Setup Wizard.
How do I get past this?
You're not in the right forum, but anyway it sounds like something went wrong in the install process. I would start over and try it again.
