Hi all,
I had an LG G3 with Android 5.0 After a few issue appeared, I decided to upgrade it to Android 6.0 yesterday. Upgrade was successfully completed and I have used the phone without any problem yesterday. However, I'm getting a popup today: "Unfortunately, NFC service has stopped" Even if I touch on OK, the same popup will come out after just 1 second.
I rebooted the phone with safe mode, the issue still exists.
Any idea?

Hey all,
A friend of mine has a bit of a weird problem with his HTC One X+. He received a notification from his phone that the update to Android 4.2.2 was ready to be downloaded and installed, which he did. The downloading went smoothly and afterwards his phone rebooted to install the update, but that's where it went wrong. You briefly see the installing icon but within a second a red question mark appears and the phone reboots again, still with the current version of Android installed (4.1.1). Just what could be the cause of the problem?
Hello to all!
So I got the automatic message for available system upgrade for android 6.0.1. (5th time)
I have downloaded it, the phone reboot for instalation, started the instalation and half aminute
after,I got the "error" message with the android icon laying down on the floor:
I have the Android Lollipop 5.1.1.
What is the problem?
Could it be one of the apps installed?
What can you advise me to do next?
I have factory reset before and after attempts.
Thanks alot!.

Hi, I just recently found my old 2013 Moto G. I unlocked the bootloader and installed cyanogenmod on it. When I unlocked it it said the "Unfortunately, Google Play Service has stopped" So from there since it was an old phone and I had nothing to loose on it I just whent to settings and restored to factory settings. Of course that didn't fix anything and now I'm stuck at the activation screen and no way to get out since I get the "Unfortunately, Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped." Therefore I can't type! Please let me know if you need any more details. Thanks for the help!
LG G5 (RS988) - LG Stock - Receive Error "Process com.android.phone isn't responding"
Many have reported more trouble on LG's Android Nougat than on LG's Android Marshmallow for the LG G5 RS988.
I am trying to determine if a bug described in this post also manifests for others.
At present, I do not use a SIM with the LG G5 RS988 and use stock Android Nougat updated to the RS98821d revision.
I had noticed some time ago when booting the LG G5 (RS988) into the stock Nougat that I receive an error stating, "Process com.android.phone isn't responding". If one goes to Settings --> About phone --> Status OR Settings --> About phone --> Network, one may see a long delay before any information for section is displayed. The problem manifests both in the normal mode and Safe Mode. The error was not displayed when using stock Android Marshmallow.
I have applied the various LG updates for the device, but the problem persists. Clearing various caches does not resolve the problem. The problem appears to manifest regardless as to whether or not the "Show all ANRs" option from Developer options is used; however, when "Show all ANRs" is not enabled there may be a lag or delay before the device performs some actions while waiting before the "Process com.android.phone isn't responding" error message appears. For the error message to be displayed, the screen should not be allowed to go to sleep prior to the display of the error message. I do not know whether or not the presence of a SIM changes whether or not the problem manifests.
To attempt to reproduce the problem on the device, the following procedure is used on a device without a SIM installed:
Boot or reboot device into stock Android Nougat.
Wait or do something else until the error message appears; do not allow the screen to sleep in the meantime. (At this time, it may also be a good idea to go to Settings --> About phone --> Status OR Settings --> About phone --> Network)
I have attached files of pictures of examples of the error message and the Android software version.
Are others able to reproduce the problem?
If the problem can be reproduced under the manifesting conditions, I would like to know that as well.
I had the same error couple of days ago. I don't know what caused it but the data connection got disconnected on its own. After several failed attempts to turn it back on, I tried to restart the device. But it won't restart either. I was getting this 'process com.android.phone isn't responding' message in between. Suddenly the phone went blank showing me the following error 'Your device is corrupted and cannot be trusted and may not work properly'. The phone was consistently looping between the start-up screen and this 'error' screen. The weird thing was the phone started on its own after I pressed the power button. The same thing happened again today. So sad as this is a fantastic phone. I own a LG-860N model.
