REMIX OS version 3.0.207
Android Version 6.0.1
Kernal Version 4.4.24 android x86
Intel Atom N455 1.66 GHz.
I am new to this OS. I really love this OS, but like others I am having issues with not waking from sleep/laptop lid closed. My only work around is to restart, enter the BIOS, and hit the power off switch to shut the unit down. It's annoying to have to shut the unit totally down when I want to close the lid.
When do you think an update will be available to support the Intel Atom on the HP?

hey all
is it possible to install windows 7 onto a viewsonic g tablet
i have a windows 7 bootable key just unsure how to get the device to boot from it
if this is not possible and linux based os's able to be installed.
thanks
ARM based processors (which the tegra 2 is) are not supported yet (Win7).
You'll have to wait for Windows 8 for that...then we'll have to see!!
I think Viewsonic's dual boot Windows7/Android tab uses an Intel Atom processor.
so is it possible to boot from a usb key though?
Sure its possible. But I highly doubt you or anyone here is going to undertake the task of modifying windows in order to work properly the ARM processor on the Gtab

At this point no.
Win7 code is not ARM compatible. Intel & ARM based processors use different code. That's why the Viewsonic dual boot tab uses an Intel Atom instead of a Tegra.
Even when Win8 is out, somone would have to develop the dual boot capable bootloader to select between the 2 OS's.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this to happen in the near future (if ever)!!!! By the time this is even a possibility most will have moved on to the latest/greatest device out. Can't wait for the quad-core Tegra devices which probably would be much more capable of running Win8 than the current Tegra2s.
I think that "we have a dream!!" VS is pushing away the new customers from gtablet, so after a few weeks the most developers will support someone other tablet. AND there are a lot of them!!
Windows 7 is a no go, but I was able to install WinCe on a cheapy Chinese Android tablet I previously had, not to sure if that can be done on the G-Tab.
Greetings,
Is anyone familiar with new brand tablet Tesla H7

I have one such device, and after seven days of use is stuck on Intel logo when i Power On device
I contacted the manufacturer about some info but he refuses to direct me to a solution.
From my research I found another almost similar devices by shape and hardware spec.

I found and upgrade Telcast firmware pass without problem (using Phone Flash Tool).
After Android successfully boot i see in MyComputer mounted storage while device connected over USB so i concluded upgrade proccess is OK BUT screen on device is black and do not hear a sound when i turn up sound on max with hardware button
ADB shell from console is available.

Hello. I have have problems with Lenovo Thinkpad 8. I can't boot RemixOS, no Guest, no Resident mode. Shows black screen.
I tried ASUS Vivotab Note 8, this table have no problems. Please, fix bugs with Lenovo Thinkpad 8 (32-bit).
I think in 64-bit version of tablet (newer CPU) will no problems. If you successfully booted, please check, have you Intel Atom Z3795 ?
Current CPU: Intel Atom Z3770.
Tested with 32-bit version of Remix OS.
Ok, so here's the run down. I can install/run off a USB Phoenix OS and the Android X86 versions off any of my computers at home. But Remix OS will hang forever on the "Remix OS" splash screen. Since Phoenix and Remix are variants of Android x86, what could be the differentiating factor?

Try the 32 bit version... Had this and it worked for me.

Yes, I tried this too. Unfortunately, no dice.
@K387 it's probably the GPU handling. Remix OS handles GPU drivers differently from the rest Android-x86 forks.
Try adding: "androidboot.swrast=1" or "EXTMOD=radeon" or "EXTMOD=nouveau" to grub kernel line. Do NOT mix these together.
You didn't mention the basic info needed in troubleshooting this kind of problems - device model, CPU model, method of installation, install to USB/HDD?
RemixOS main system are "seamlessly" different from other Android-x86, Remix has different drivers which some have incompatibility with some hardwares (and it was the one which preventing me from booting via my Laptop's HDD).
If you can stuck on bootloop at 64bit version, that means that you are ran RemixOS on right hardware but it have incompatibility with drivers and your hardware. After all, if you ran 64bit on 32bit Processor, you will just end up at "Minimal BASH-like command... " or it wont boot up anyway.

Phoenix OS recently ran an update to 2.5.0.64- previous battery consumption was fine, but now it seems to be running full blast.
I haven't posted to the phoenix section because I don't have enough posts to not be spam
Main thing I've noticed is that the cooling fan is constantly running full out. Anyone know of a way to access the fan settings or something of the sort?
I'm dual booting win10 x64 and PhoenixOS on an Acer r5-571T laptop.
Alternative option would be to rollback the update if that's a possibility? Haven't found a way to do that yet without a recovery option. I also haven't seen a way to install a recovery for Phoenix yet...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
