Hi.. Today my uncle shared a unique problem of mi3 he bought in hk. When he connect his phone to computer. It shows two memories i.e. 2.66 gb as phone memory and rest as ext card memory.. This mi3 is on 4.3.. So thought of updating via ota to latest.. But msg shows we hv latest fw.. Could not get option of updater to select package.. I can't enter into recovery..it just shows red triangle...
How to update it to newest fw and move away from small partition.. Which just hv folder as obb...

i have to partitions on mi3 td tegra 4 version system partition is divided and mine it's tegra 4 all cpu-z , antutu and games confirms it you can't run half-life 2 tegra 4 only game if it's not tegra 4 so the other thing is why the heck is divisesd and why this change from mi3 w version

Your phone can be "kenzo" or "kate".
Can you tell what version of MIUI you have? Please post screenshot of About Phone if possible.

Yours is kenzo.
Backup internal SD card data and app data(search backup in settings).
Download http://en.miui.com/download-301.html "Redmi note 3 Qualcomm Global".
Open updater app.
Tap options ( three dots on right up).
Tap on "choose update package".
Select the downloaded zip.(Please stay connected to internet om this step)
It will check the zip, and after asking you, wipe all data and install Global ROM.
recently i have installed aosp AEX official rom, and i observed that in available 10 gb internall memory, it has consumed 4.4 gb for system.
so, i would like like to ask if any one tried this rom just post here about how much internal memory is consumed for your system. And if possible share your screen shots thank you.

Redmi note 3 consumes for about 4 gb for /system and rest for your personal storage.
i.e if you install OS other than miui it will consume much less space but if you install miui os it will consume 3.5 gb approximately and miui is heavily bloated.
I have no experience in port Rom.
I used as base the work from Seiryu.2i of miui forum, including the kernel.
It made everything simpler.
Apps deleted: mishop, mipicks, miforum, micommunity, gmail, googlemovies, googlemusic, googlehangouts.
Requirements:
Lollipop bootloader
TWRP installed.
mandatory: System Partition with 2GB of space. You can resize system Here.
first boot 10 minutes.
Warnings:
I am not responsible for bricked devices or dead SD cards.
Use at your own risk.

I tried in my 1gb version ... But bad news, the device stopped n the start screen (the first, static mi.com screen/i wait 4 20m), try with TWRP 3.2.1.0 and 3.2.1.1 (firmware 9.2.5.0). The installation is very fast for a file of this size (30 to 40 seconds), and apparently the system partition stay in the original size,1GB. I'll try again, download the image again.

Bro is this with the global stable? Or you tried both? Cause the beta is what I tried. The battery backup is good, but have a problem with slowing down at random and I haven't tried even the slightest gaming. After 2 Antutu runs, the GPU score comes in at 600 and the phone gets hot. Whilst Oreo roms manage 1100 and Nogat Dot Os and viper manage 1500-1600 with Zetsubou. There I go rambling again, I meant to ask, is your usage better with the 9.5 stable? (if that's what you tested) And how is it looking on Antutu? If you don't mind sharing.

He ported a rom for the device from another device of 64bit
Hello guys, I mistakenly formatted using sp flash tool and I hadn't backed up my imei on my poco x3 gt. It gave me nv data corrupted error on reboot as a result. I've looked for every way to repair the device including taking it to xiaomi center but it hasn't worked. If there could be a way to help me out I would really appreciate perhaps someone could share nv data backup.

i fix it yeahhh .baseband and both imeis working , so do this ,got engenering rom android 11 for poco x3 gt ,flash it , when boot go to settings and change language to english , donwload magisk and patch the boot image ,with magisk , when magisk is ready , flash the android 11 only lite gapps module in magisk modules. thats all ..... ready to go with play store , google services nad 2 both lines and data working like new so happy recover 100 fully working my apps and both 2 phone lines and 5g data , after 3 months and no solutions all over the internet SO HAPPY . not really. only on engenering rom show baseband and imei and both lines work fine 5g and volte , , but in normal rom it wont work, cause no radio or modem is setup neither, what i did is DSU SIDELOAD , an install android 13 GSI , SO it boots the other partition in any GSI normally and lines works like normal , i have 256 gb so i put 125gb for storage , you gotta put half of your storage in the dsu sideload app, i have tried many gsi , android 13 and 12 it woks ......evolution , pixel experience , cherish , superior and other , so you dont have to worri in fixing anymore

Not working unfortunately. Formatting with sp flash tool caused this problem for me
