Hello, I treeing to install a CM13/Linage 14 on the S6 edge G-925F. TWRP - no problem > wiping data - no problem > installing OS > no problem. When I reboot it to the system I get red message "Kernel is not steandroid enforcing" and phone stuck on this message - no reboot loop, nothing, just a message and Samsung logo. In the settings "stock fw" I have no OEM onlock (5.x.x/6.x.x). I tried to unlock bootloader with "Modaco Superboot" and have no succeed - cant find a version for Samsung (Maybe it's not necessary). Also I tried to install a costume kernel after installing costume OS and red message faded but phone still don't boot.... Please HELP!!!
I have this same problem, u must install official stock system.

This is not normally an issue and phone should still boot as normal. How long are you leaving it on that screen? That is just the first boot it can take up to 20-30 minutes.

Yes, maybe red message is normal. I think 20-30 min is too much. I had a Samsung s3 and first boot up in CM14 took about 6-8 min. I left S6 edge for around 40 min and nothing but a warm table. May I try for one hour?

Flash a custom kernel.
Then wipe data/cache/dalvik and reboot
Try flash Card HD rom, with stock kernel. Full wipe and cache.

Clean stock 5.0.1 > flashing TWRP 3.1.X (no problem)> TWR and stock OS boots > flashing CarHDOS (7.0) (kernel flashing automaticly), no fail when flashing. Reboot ot OS, no red massage, no bootloop, but CarHDOS doen not boot. I left phone for around 50 min, nothing.
I tried different ways many time:
Wiped all data, excluding internal storage > flashed OS > wiped data > reboot - nothing
Wiped all data, exc intern storage > flashed OS > flashed kernel > reboot - get nothing
Wiped all data, exc intern storage > flashed OS > wiped cache > flashed kernel > reboot - get nothing

Purchased I9300 a couple of weeks back and decided to checkout the toolkit, make some changes (with the aim being better battery life)
downloaded and installed toolkit.
followed on screen instructions - 76d xxblg9
once rooted and busybox was alledgedly installed phone reboots to hang on samsung screen.
restoring flash lead to the samsung logo not even appearing.and repeated rebooting got me to the sim unlock page, to be told that android had stopped working and a complete hang.
downloaded GT-I9300_NEE_I9300XXALE8_I9300NEEALE3_I9300XXLE8.tar.md5 and odined in (closest stock flash i could find, being a nordic resident)
now hangs on samsung logo.
so my question is twofold
1 - which stock flash is it i need, or should i just get hyperlite?
2 - an anyone point me to another thread regarding stockflashin the i9300? (as my search skills have failed to find anything that helps after 2 hours)
sincere thanks

Download mode > flash cf-root 6.4 > boot into recovery > wipe data/factory reset > boot > profit.
You could do a wipe in stock recovery but it will wipe your internal storage.

i ran into the same problem when i rooted my phone the first time around, as nodstuff said, you need to do a factory reset/wipe cache, ect to get it past the Samsung screen or it will just hang.

I have been thru the process you describe many times for testing purposes but I have never had to use the wipe option from the bootloader.
I normally just go into twrp and wipe system, factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik and then install rom.
Not saying you're wrong, I just have not encountered it.

I unlocked my bootloader (using HTC-DEV, not rooted), installed TWRP, and dutifully flashed CM-10.2 (the 11/04 nightly).
However, I failed to flash the boot image; so when I rebooted, I got the HTC splash screen and would continually reboot from there.
I was able to get back in and flash the boot image from the CM-10.2 package, so now when I booted, I get the Cyanogen spinning flash screen - however, I never progress beyond that.
I then performed a "factory reset" from the bootloader - the phone basically rebooted immediately, then re-flashed CM10.2 - but the problem remains the same and the phone will never completely boot up in to any type of "desktop" or anything. I can still boot in to recovery and the bootloader.
Any assistance? Do the ROM / gApps / Boot image need to be flashed in a particular order? Is there a way to flash the boot image via TWRP? How do I remove /system via TWRP, or does the factory reset take care of that?
Thanks!

Try booting into recovery and doing a FULL clean wipe. System/data/cache/dalvik I believe is a full wipe. After that try flashing something other than CM to see if it is an error with CM or the phone all together.

Thanks - that did the trick. I was only able to connect with EDGE - I'm using a T-Mobile SIM. I'm presently looking for peeps with a similar experience... do I need to flash a new radio?

I recently tried to go through the HTCDev site to unlock bootloader but it kept 404 error on me so I figured it no longer works. Did it work for you recently or did you do it awhile ago?
A few days ago i got the massage "uid inconsistent feeling lucky" and after a couple of minutes my phone restarted and got stuck on the flashing samsung logo, i was on an official 4.3 rom rooted.
I decided that it's time to move to Lineage OS 7.1.1. I tried to enter twrp recovery that was installed on my device but got stuck on the twrp splash screen and after 2 seconds it reboots the device, i installed 7 different twrp versions 2.8.5.0 - 3.0.2-2 with odin but every time with the same result, stuck on twrp splash screen
So i tried to install a stock rom, after odin finished and the device rebooted it got stuck again on the flashing samsung logo and when i tried to enter the recovery that should be the stock recovery i got an android image with the red triangle and the phone reboots, when i tried to install stock recovery with odin it got stuck on file analysis.
After all that i downloaded cwm recovery and philz recovery and those were the only recovery i can access, i can delete cache and dalvik cache but when i try to wipe data/factory reset when i select the option the phone immediately reboots.
I also tried to install the Lineage OS 7.1.1 official rom with cwm but got an error massage "can't install this package on top of incompatible data. please try another package or run a factory reset".
Please help me

No errors in odin, when i try to enter stock recovery after flashing stock rom there is an android picture with red triangle and the phone reboots, the only problem that i had with odin is when i tried to flash only the stock recovery it got stuck on file analysis, in my first post i wrote all the things that i've tried already and what works and doesn't work
I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be. Have you thought about taking the phone to a cell repair shop to see if it can be flashed via JTAG?

this would be my last resort, where i live a shop would charge me more than the phone is worth to repair it, is there a way to factory reset with a software or adb with a phone that can't boot into the os?

You need a pit file in order to repartition.

The error you got means you need to wipe the /system partition before you flash Lineage. As for why TWRP isn't working, I'm really not too sure unless the image size is bigger than the actual recovery partition size.

The PIT file depends on the phones model or on the rom version or both?
File depends on model number and the amount of internal memory. I think the 9300 has 16 GB.

the only recovery i can use is cwm or philz, but when i try to wipe data\factory reset the phone reboots right when i select the option and does not complete the wipe\reset, i wiped cache, dalvik cache and system partition, but when i try to install the rom it said incomplete data and i should do a factory reset and i can't do that, i had the latest twrp working before all of this happened

Noooo... Dont repartition it. You haven't had anything that says it needs it yet.
Flash the stock firmware twice, back to back then see if you have more control.
If you have a btu device (unlocked international) i can give you my reliable files to flash.
All you'll need for now is the firmware file. Flash it and as the phone reboots (blue pass in odin) you need to get it into download mode again without going to the os, if you miss it just pull the battery and go again.
Once in dl mode for the second time, flash the firmware again. When the phone reboots, before it goes to os, get in into RECOVERY MODE and try to factory wipe it. If successful allow it to reboot again as normal to os.
If the factory wipe fails or the phone still hangs at the samsung logo you have bigger issues.
Beamed in by telepathy.
Good morning to you all, and thanks in advance if you can help me.
I just received an Ace 4 Neo from a neighbor who asked me to 'make it faster' and 'newer'. Naturally, with the Stock ROM what Samsung overloads, I wasn't going to do nothing as close. I came to the always loyal xda and found the Mega Thread of Ace 4 Neo: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ace-4/development/rom-cyanogenmod-11-12-13-ace-4-neo-ace-t3627637
I put into the phone the oldest Stock ROM available from the same origin country and carrier (TIGO - Paraguay), and after installed Custom Recovery TWRP 3.1.1-0 and tried to install a Custom ROM. There is where my problems started.
First, I tried to put CM13 or MIUI (Android 6.x) with no success. The phone when turning on just showed the model and stayed there. The only change was a red exclamation sign on the upper part of the screen. (Possibly, this will be helpful for you: When installing, the result said [ ] instead of [/system])
After 6 failures with each one, I desisted and instead tried with CM12.1 and this one successfully installed. I also tried to use OpenGApps Pico (as I really messed up trying to find how to install the GApps of the thread), and the phone turned on "without problems" (the CM in fact started, but the red exclamation point is still there).
After 8 minutes configuring the GApps, I configured the Google Account and such. However, I went to Play Store for naturally install WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter... The common things.
Surprise! The phone when installing suddenly rebooted. When turned on again, the home screen closed and opened 4-5 times in 20 seconds and rebooted again. It maintained on that loop over and over.
So, am I doing something wrong? Or do you know about how to fix any of the previous issues?
As a final note, because the Mega Thread doesn't have the classic installing instructions, after navigation for 2 hours I constructed this steps:
1. Reboot to Custom Recovery
2. Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Everything except Internal Memory and SD Card (Dalvik + System + other two things)
3. Install ROM
4. Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache (the button what shows there)
4. Install GApps
5. Wipe again Cache
6. Reboot
Again, thanks in advance.
Hi, @Pedreo1997. You need wipe internal storage, too.
Step-by-step install custom ROMs:
Flash oldest stock ROM with Odin.
Reboot system > use 1-2 minutes ( for sure )
Install TWRP 3.x.x
Wipe everything except sdcard.
Wipe > advance wipe > check system > option > repair
Install ROM and Gapps.
Reboot and enjoy
