Hi All
I have a V10 T-Mobile H901 with unlocked bootloader, rooted and TWRP installed.
What want to know is it possible using Buildprop Editor to alter the Build to Global and remove all reference to T-Mobile. The phone shows up in LG Phone from app as LGABCD under model number, and provider and network type as ABC. I am currently running with an EE SIM here in UK.
Installing a custom Rom like RadeonMaya which is a port of the global version will remove all matter of T-Mobile bloat on the phone. I'm running my H901 on the latest version and aside from the phone's model number you wouldn't notice.
Hi
Thanks for the reply. Where can I find that ROM?

Hi everyone,
I'm having issues with my LG G3 D855! It was originally locked to Optus in Australia, but I have recently wanted to root it. To do this I found I had to downgrade to Android 4.4, which I did successfully using the LG Flash Tool. It worked well, but it messed up at the same time. I actually flashed the European version of 4.4 over instead of an Optus version. As someone with little experience in the field, the European/International version seemed the right one since there was no Australian versions on the site. LG wouldn't replace the firmware unless I coughed up $350, seeing as I voided the warranty. After doing further digging online I found a Telstra version of the LG G3 firmware but the phone repair shop said that flashing a Telstra version over would lock it to telstra and that I would require a Telstra sim to use the phone! At the moment my phone is functioning okay, I'm able to text, call and mobile data and wifi both work. The issue is the missing Australian apps and the many European ones that aren't mine. Also out of curiosity, has the European G3 received 5.0 yet? It didn't show up in the software updater for me. Looking for any advice I can get with this... If you have any further questions about the functionality I will reply as soon as I can.
Thanks!
I bought my phone and they told me that it was the d855 international 32GB 3GB RAM version, it came and it's currently on Stock 4.4.2 and was already rooted for some reason, I figured that out because there is no Update Software option and because of that I then ran Root Checker and it is indeed rooted.
I bought it planning on installing LineageOS, but I'm unsure if it really is the D855 model, it has 32GB of Storage, it DOES NOT have the antena of the Korean version, in Hardware Settings it says Model LG-D855 and in Software Settings it says Software Version D85510m.
The thing is that when I'm following this guide while I'm running LG UP the program says that my Phone is currently in version ls990zvb, why is that? should i trust LG UP? or should I trust the retailer?, I read that LS990 is a Sprint version and that ls990zvb is Lollipop for those devices, but my phone right now is running 4.4.2 Kitkat, not Lollipop.
I don't want to brick my phone just by installing the wrong KDZ from the incorrect model, and I really don't know which version it truly is, because I read somewhere that they can just edit the name and version that it shows in the Settings but it also doesn't make any sense that LG UP says that I'm running Lollipop while I'm not. I just want to use LineageOS and that's it.
If it actually is from Sprint, can I use Lineage OS or another Custom ROM with my GSM SIM Card? If not, can I at least update my Android version with other Stock ROM and make it unlocked like the one that I currently have?
I want Android Vanilla in my phone and that's the reason that I bought the International version, but the LineageOS page also says that there are releases for Sprint, so I'm unsure.
I bought lg v10 2 days ago, (in Pakistan) phone shows its on T-mobile running android 5.1.1, there is no OTA update in Software update option but as i connect my phone with LG brigde it shows an update:
New Version: F600S30D (05-23-2017)
Here my Question is whether i should update my phone (as i dont want to brick it) or stay with the stock 5.1.1?
Also when i check IMEI of my phone it show F600S version (I'm not aware of t-mobile providing service in Korea)
Is my device korean?
Because what i found on the back of my phone (under the battery tag) is:
model no: LG-H901
Made in Korea.
A guy i know at work has this model successfully rooted.(i saw with my own eyes). But the problem is he got layed off and i cant contact him.He also said that the tmobile version is identical to canadian version as far as specs and hardware. And it makes sence to me because i own a samsung note 4 canadian version and can flash any T-Mobile rom.Im wondering if he rooted using T-Mobile stuff.Any thoughts on this will be welcome
By the way i am on N 20c version using telus sim and factory unlocked.pretty sure he had exact same
Could be possible but there not risks? But i wanna try this because i want to get root on my LG G5 H831 but i don't know if the risk is big
My LG V60 was an ATT version, and is now rooted and cross flashed to t mobile firmware. I tried getting the code through the ATT website, and they said they can't approve the unlock request.
So from what I've read online, a phone has to be on its original network for a certain number of days to be able to be unlocked, how does this work? Is there any way around this? Is there something I can do on a rooted phone to fix this, or can carrier aggregation fix this? (what they're doing here:
Enabling Carrier Aggregation LG V60
Hi, Can someone post the carrier policy files of the LG V60 LMV600EA version ? I need this files to enable carrier aggregation on my canadian V60. Thanks
