z play has receive 7.1.1 since June 2nd.
Still Funny that the smaller Device gets a new Version faster then the Flagship.
I do not have the package, by the way, that's what I'm looking for. What got me so angry was that they launched the Android 7.1.1 Official for the Moto X Play of 3 years old already and only the test for the Moto Z.
Sorry for my English, I used Google Translate. I'm brazilian.

It seems that the x play's 7.1.1 is a pre-test version. You can find information on xda x play board.

I take no credits for this app/mod. Found a camera app from lenovo flagship set while searching on xperia z forum which worked perfectly on our xperia P. Takes sharper image than our stock camera and less noise with super gallery.

Stock Camera app vs Lenovo Camera app - in low light situation.
Stock Camera
Lenovo Camera
Lenovo Camera better control in noise and much sharpen in details.
More comparison of Lenovo SuperCamera v/s Stock.
All snap uisng Auto mode. Lenovo SuperCamera open instant, focus instant as well, more in details, better post processing, less noise in overall.
By the way, I just notice the camera quality even in stock actually improve much in latest .475 firmware as well.
I found a Newer version of Lenovo SuperCamera, but effect still not working - REMOVED as suspicions permission.

I found suspicious in the Newer version of Lenovo SuperCamera I post previously due to the permission request.
Anyone already install that newer version, advice to uninstall.
Older version don't have above suspicious permission request
I posted in XZ forums that I'm going to try to port the camera effects etc. I'll search for newest system dump and I'll edit the app to remove suspicious things if necessary

Good Afternoon people purpose of this thread is to find out as much as we can about who or where and what device people are using with the new Facebook design. I don't think it is down to the application itself I'm sure it is server sided that depends on who has it,
So come on
Who has it?
Where you from?
What device do you have?
And what application are you using? Beta Alpha or Standard?

Are you a beta or alpha tester? Just curious, why are you wondering who has it? Also why do you want to know where I'm from?

It is server side, and it would not surprise me if it was only for US users.
Even if I send you the .APK I'm using with the new layout, I believe it will still load the old layout on your phone.

God dammit why is the server so picky with where it allows it to display they must be testing it on a minority of people first shame we cant force this
Have been waiting for this so long, I'm a beta tester too still old ui. Sad
Beta tester old ui, from Malaysia, some of my friends are not beta tester but having new ui :'(
Same thing happened with Facebook's new website UI, rolled out last February (?). Very few people got the updated look, and when you go to facebook.com/about/newsfeed to get the new UI (as most websites prescribe), you get nothing.

Well,
Some people in The Netherlands, just like me, are also using a new UI. I can confirm that my friends do have the Samsung Galaxy S4/ and mini. They both have the new UI. Also a friend with the Sony Xperia Play running Gingerbread has the NEW UI too.
I'm using the Samsung Galaxy Ace with Android 4.4.2 and having the old UI
So it's a Facebook server problem....

Optimistic is the only thing you can be when u have to rely on an manufacturer to get updates.
The upgrade thing sucks on Android.
Its basically: oh your phone is 2 years old and you want an update? gtfo, buy a new one and ask again in 2 years lol

I disagree. Android is partly built around the open source mentality. One of the reasons that some phones don't get more than 2 years support is because the manufacturer has not released proper sources. I think it's in customers' responsibility to shoot emails to manufacturers and ask for proper sources as obliged by GPL.
Android phones with proper sources are still being supported even if (some of them) they are 5 years old. Just take a look on CM nightly support. A semi-open source scheme is close to perfect to be the one that's getting the most support as long as the manufacturers do what the law obliges them... In fact I don't think that many embedded systems (other than certain android phones) have got more support in the long term.
We haven't even gotten lollipop 5.1.1 update yet so I doubt we will be getting any marshmallow update any time soon!!
