UPDATE! THIS MOD IS OBSOLETE! This was created before Nougat ROMs for the LeEco Le Max 2 supported Vulkan. It is recommended to use the Vulkan drivers the ROM comes with as these could be incompatible.
Heyyo, so first off? I don't claim to be a developer... I have a theory on coding as I never learned programming language outside of GTA 3 script... So here's your warning that I'm not responsible for anything that happens to your device if something goes wrong. This is more of an incentive for actual developers to use Vulkan from the ZTE Axon 7 LineageOS source to implement into other devices... Namely the LeEco Le Max 2.
Sadly I couldn't get OpenCL 2.0 from the Axon 7 LOS to work but hopefully a developer can figure it out.
So this mod is based off the works of @BlackSoulxxx and @Sudeep Duhoon for their Vulkan mods combined with the ZTE Axon 7 LineageOS source files.
I've tested it with ASOP Nougat builds of Pure Nexus Project and Dark Unicorn and the official LineageOS 14.1 build and it works on all of them.
NOTE! it includes a build.prop mod for a Samsung Galaxy S7 Snapdragon 820 device! Can cause issues such as the multirom app for your specific device so backup your build.prop before installing. The build.prop mod is for installing Vainglory Vulkan Beta and Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore.

Vainglory Vulkan Beta works flawlessly. No graphical artifacts and she plays smooth. Requires build.prop S7 mod in order to install via the Play Store.
Dream League Soccer works flawlessly with Vulkan. Shows as "GPU: Adreno (TM) 530 (vk)"
Score! Hero works flawlessly with Vulkan. Shows as "GPU: Adreno (TM) 530 (vk)"
Need For Speed: No Limits works flawlessly... But sadly I don't see a way to confirm it's working with Vulkan but it seems to run smoothly.

Siyforce Reloaded works flawlessly but can't tell if it's in OpenGL or Vulkan
Galaxy on Fire 3 Manticore also seems to work flawlessly but can't confirm its running Vulkan API but it does run at 1080P at 60fps without any framerate drops so I'm guessing that it's working and damn this game looks amazing for a mobile game.
HITmobile works (graphic setting 6) if you mod your build.prop extra (I'll have to figure out some tweaks to this zip later) and I made a guide (thanks to @temvokbesi ) and posted it to reddit here:

RetroArch Vulkan works on N64 Parallel but seems slow... doesn't seem to like landscape view

RetroArch Vulkan doesn't work properly on Mendafen Beetle PSX HW... graphical artifacts.
Dolphin Emulator works and offers a performance boost over OpenGL but has a terrible Z buffer clearing bug for Adreno 5xx series GPUs not present on any other Vulkan app. So far it doesn't look like it'll get fixed anytime soon. I submitted a bug report on the forums and it was tossed aside as Qualcomm needs to update their drivers. I also made a comment on their bug tracker but no guarantees anything will change.
PPSSPP via the developer builds (Vulkan currently disabled on play store version of the app) doesn't work. It just reboots back to OpenGL... http://ppsspp.org/downloads.html

To uninstall just reflash your ROM and clear cache and dalvik. It'll overwrite the modified build.prop and other modified driver files.

Right now there is a Vulkan 1.0.38 and Adreno v214 drivers for 530 but its experimental and buggy af so I dont upload that at this moment. But maybe your bugs will be solved in that or next version.

Turns out the build.prop on Le Max 2 devices seem to be missing "ro.build.model" (albeit "ro.internal.model" does exist) which is probably why the build.prop mod in my zip doesn't work heh. I'll have to try and figure out a way to fix that I guess.

Heyyo, the version from the Play Store lacks Vulkan. You'll need to download a developer version direct from their website to attempt Vulkan but it never worked for me.

I'm trying to record in 60FPS. I've tried many different apps, and it seems that my main issue is that I don't have Camera API 2 enabled.
I've tried editing my build.prop by appending with the line:
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
And it doesn't work. I've also tried using Terminal Emulator with:

I've even tried flashing "Camera_2API_addon.zip" (from a mirror site, since that website's download links are down), as mentioned on this Russian forum:

Flash a android 7 based MIUI rom (like developer rom) and you can enable API2
But our device doesnt support 60fps recording anyway on 1080p

How about at 720p, at least? And here's a YouTube video I saw of someone who got 60FPS working using the media_profiles.xml mod:
I'll try flashing a Nougat developer rom in the meantime, thank you for the advice.

Thanks for reuploading those. While I'm sure those will help other people, I've just tried copying the media_profile.xml file to system/etc, chmodding the file to 644, and installed the app, and the app still crashes. Really thinking this is all because I have a Mediatek phone.

No camera blobs for Oreo because Xiaomi has yet to release Oreo kernel sources for this device. But some people have got it working, but they seem to having some coding background or maybe they're just really smart.
Camera2 API is already enabled by default on most custom ROMs. Just use Nougat if you need 60fps.

Only the one which states arm-arm64 as names are supported to Moto g5s+ here is the link for best out of it with almost all Google camera features but make sure u have camera 2api enabled or it won't work

Ah yeah Moto g5s+ got arm32 and the link I provided which says "arm-arm64 = arm32-arm64" also if u wanna check any app which supports arm32 or 64 than use apk extractor or ES File manager to extract app than open extracted folder > lib > if it says armeabi-v7a means that 3bits if it's arm64-v8a than it's 64 bits most of the mods provided and made does supports 64 bits only cause newer Google camera version are mostly for 64bits and it gets easy for developers to Port it to other 64bit device
And as for virus I really don't know about that developers are from diff places and they r the one who are making this mods.......

What are you using to enable api2?
I tried the persist build prop edit , and still when I try the camera you say to use, I install and it doesn't finish and says "app not installed"

Edit; ok found an app to test api2. It says yes. So now, I still can't install the app. I used titanium to uninstall any google camera that was on the phone, but when I try to install the one you suggested for 3.2 it says it tries to upgrade from 4.2 and won't work.

first time opening the app will FC 90% of the time but after that it wont FC much often and dont switch btw camera and video to quickly that also causes it to get stuck and make OS reboot i hope B-S-G fix it in his next update

Well the value after = is put in the next column so basically you don't use = sign in the build prop

I'll add that I was having issues finding a camera that worked worth a crap, or at all after flashing validus 16.4. I installed the gcam here and finally have something that works for now. Look forward to improvement for sure.

I keep going back and forth on those 2. I'll have to watch which one gives me more consistent results before I delete the other. Even the open camera encountered a fatal error while testing it once. Nbd tho.

Testing faze of Pixel experience is out (64Bit ROM) and arnova's GC 5.1.018 and 5.1.016 works best except video recording doesn't work, pics quality is lot better then stock camera even better than GC for 32bit motion photos works with some tweaks causes some FC but over all I kind of like 5.1 more than any of GC for 32Bits

With new versions as com.google.ar.core_1.0.180129103 or com.google.ar.core_1.0.180129153 do not work, they are probably not modified for the LeMax2.

Hello,
Same problem on LeMax2: ARCore 0.91.171127093 works, but with any new version an error appends!
(in logcat ==> com.google.ar.core.exceptions.UnavailableDeviceNot CompatibleException)
As the 0.9 version is not stabile, I liked to test with version 1.0.
Who could change the app in order to run on LeMax2?
(with a detailed documentation, I could try myself...)

It doesn't work on latest DU. Followed the instructions accordingly from Arnova.
I am using LOS 15.1 with Arnova's GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.2.apk, along with AR Core 1.4 (1.5 is not working) and AR Stickers v1.1 (from this link, the latest APK did not work).
Also used this patch (ARCore-AllDevices-TWRP-v1.1). Not sure what it's about (maybe AR Core 1.5 cannot be "patched" yet), but this setup is working fine on the modded GCam and PoGo's AR+ !

I am using revenge Os (pie) and magiskhide props config. Marked the device as a Pixel XL and sideloaded arcore and the measure app. Both are working fine. Hope we able to help?!

unfortunately it will not gonna work on any of the G-cam mode
SD636 is officially not capable enough for slow motion video (ref - https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon-636-mobile-platform)
Night Mode Black Screen
Everything was working fine for first time except slo mo.
But now when i try to switch to night mode it just shows black screen but menus are visible. I tried to press shutter button but didn't capture anything.

Does the "Mute Camera Shutter" module work for anyone? it only suppresses the Screenshot sound and not the camera shutter sound in my device.
I used the Magisk module "Pixel2XL_LongExp_Dec2019_A10.zip" for a long time to take astro photos. The module no longer works with android 11 and GCam 8.2.
Does anyone know of a suitable module or another trick to extend the exposure time beyond 4 seconds?

Didn't work for me at first either - with custom ROM PixelExperience. Didn't work until I went back to the stock ROM. Now it works pretty good!
