I'm using the latest version of OSX, and heimdall 1.4.1 or even tried 1.4.0. After having successfully installing it I cannot find a Heimdall Frontend application to open it? What am I doing wrong here?

It seems like all tutorials for a mac are so outdated. The new android sdk doesn't have adb so I can't do any tutorial that tells you to use adb, rom manager didn't install it like it was supposed to, I don't have odin so I can't do it the easy way, that weird mac program that is supposed to be like odin can't detect my phone, and now all I've got is the stock android recovery and no stock operating system.
What can I do from the stock recovery to get clockwork on this thing?

I am using Galaxy player 5.0 and my galaxy was bricked and i Unbricked it on linux and now is in download mode. Because there is no Odin for linux i must flash my galaxy with Heimdall but its so hard to do that. U must download .deb file from their site and install it with terminal. Now i installed first file which is heimdall_1.3.1_amd64.deb and now i must install heimdall-fronted_1.3.1_amd64.deb but it gives errors always on every version ! I have firmware and i Unbricked my galaxy but i cant install heimdall fronted. Can anyone help me ?

Show us what terminal shows you and what linux you have?
Has anyone used the app or website to flash Firmware or a recovery to the G925F? It's the only way for me to currently add a recovery or ROM as I have a Chrome book with Linux running alongside it and I don't fancy bricking my phone.

On Windows the latest ADB/Fastboot is r29. I've built a Linux box and installed the tools but I'm stuck at r23. I want to flash my device but it fails because fastboot is too old but Linux says I have the latest version. Is there a fix or place to manually download r29?
